I did find another design, but the problem is that it doesn't send everything up. It leaves one item in every other hopper.

I appreciate the suggestion, and I may have no other choice but to use a clunkier design or one that makes noise, but I'm hoping to get this one working. This one is completely silent.

Asking for help! This worked in 1.7.9, and I don't know why it's not now.

Hello everyone! I'm hoping you can help, as I'm having some trouble with an Item Elevator/Dropper Elevator, that worked fine on 1.7.9.

I've attached a picture of an example built on a test world. This is the exact same design, and was scalable as high as you wanted it. Had like 5 of them in my last build.

Now when I build one, it pulls items from the box and the first and second dropper (bottom to top) catches 1 item each and the whole thing locks up. Sometimes it "may" pull a few items, but never more than 4 or 5 before locking up.

Now this may be a fluke, but thought I would include it.

When built in a SP 1.8 World is seems to work just fine. I ran three stacks of different items and they all went through.

However the exact same design on the server fails.

I prefer this one because it's quiet and compact. Doesn't fool with water / pistons / glass blocks.

Hopefully you can shed some light on what's going on.

    Morlok8k,

I see you updated the post 1.19.15. Does the 1.7.6 update work with the new 1.8.x worlds? My players are wanting 1.8, and I've decided to go with Spigot since Bukkit getting updated is questionable at best. Plus the mods are all getting nicely updated. I've only ever used your generator, and would like to use it for the 1.8.1 world.

    Thanks

    *****EDIT *****
DOH!!! I think I remember updating the server file is pretty much all that needs done! I'm going to leave this right here and go do a little digging. I wrote this right after waking up this morning (after being talked into going to 1.8 right before bed last night) so all cylinders were not firing at the time. I'll update in a few with results.

    ***** UPDATE ****

Yep! Just have to replace the server file with one from Mojang's website that is 1.8.x and it "SHOULD" work just fine!!! Is my understanding. So, answered the question myself and for others, I think. I'm going to go ahead and do it, since it takes hours and hours and hours, and hours. :) In case I'm right, and I'll check back for updates.

    Hello everyone!

Yea, I was in the same exact boat, along with another friend of mine who's had a server for a long time. Starting last Monday I sent a ticket each day. On Friday I sent a ticket in to all four of their ticket points, and two into the billing as that's where they said to direct all the MultiMinecraft stuff. I got a replies, but I kept getting assurances that didn't pan out. Finally Saturday with all the tickets sent, I got a reply from Shawn and he assured me that it would be taken care of that day. I'd heard that before, but this time he came back with a few very specific questions that I knew he'd had to at least LOOKED at my server.

I sent in two more tickets last night at 10:30 and again around 12:00 est. This morning I woke up and he sent me two emails and a ticket response.

Good news is my server is sort of running. I can see it through the control panel, I can FTP in (downloading my world files now, just in case) but something is hinking it up from actually fully starting.

I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Here is why. MultiMinecraft and Joseph who I think is the ONLY employee apparently had something happen to where it was either massive refund everyone and shut down, or find someone to take it off his hands, quick like and in a hurry.

HostLegend has GOT to be working their tail off. Remember these are small servers groups running these things for the most part. Multiminecraft was probably a server stack in the guys house in LA, and the two or three other locations were VPS.

I did manage to get a free month of server out of HostLegend once I get back up. So they are working on it. Based on ticket times, I think the guy helping me, Shawn has been at it since sometime yesterday morning. I've gotten ticket responses etc.. periodically for the last 25 hours. Finally after talking with him through tickets he did ask if he can work on it this afternoon so he can get some sleep as he's worked on my server all night.

I'm just as upset as you guys. I hope they get it fixed real soon, because their prices are a LOT better than MultiMinecraft as long as we get transfered to their pricing tiers, and provided the servers get restored soon.

P.S. Mine is taking so long for a few reasons. Just before Multiminecraft sold, I was transfered to another node for larger hard drive space. So there were two almost identical servers, except one was MUCH larger. 40 GB because of the world gen I ran and the dynmap files. So between two servers, and the file size, it has to take a while to get it moved in and working.
