    Yeah, ores probably shouldn't be mapped...I'd also suggest if the cave system opens to the outside, it be shown with a bit of white or something at the opening. The "put torches along the wall to lead you back" thing is seriously outdated by now...

    Gosh. It isn't grammatically correct to have sex deal with it. Did you mean, deal with it and have sex? Oh yeh, by the way, why are you being so rude? Why couldn't you just calmly state your opinion on the topic then leave. You would save a lot of time and effort.

    People have different opinions on the same topic, you shouldn't get put down just because of that: it's called freedom of speech.

    Who's being rude? I'm just stating the fact that spawn eggs were developed specifically for Creative Mode and my opinion that these threads trying to mix Creative elements into Survival would only serve to screw up the game. Incidentally, I did calmly state my opinion and leave. I had to come back to see if someone was responding to me.

    And don't talk about freedom of speech then cry because my speech doesn't suit you. It makes you look like a hypocrite.

    Tarlakk, the 3D overworld is "flattened", so you only see the block that faces the sky. All the depth is lost. This is fine for the overworld (mostly), but underground it's another story. Caves twist and wind and pass underneath themselves. How would that be represented in 2D? It really would have to be more of a 3D model, kind of like what using a transparent texture pack looks like.


    Seems like it wouldn't be much more of an issue than the overworld. As you go deeper down, just have the map change to reflect the lower level.

    Or it could just show all the caves on the same paper, with varying opaqueness to show depth (current cave solid, lower caves increasingly transparent).

    Why do we have diamond tools, anyways? They're redundant. Iron does almost everything diamond can do, save for mining obsidian, which could be given to iron anyways. Diamond is just a crutch for newbies who can't deal with iron's mining speed. We should remove diamond tools from the game.

    Same deal with this. Gunpowder is harder to accrue in massive quantities when compared to redstone, so it'd be a more advanced form of a detonator.


    Diamond is a part of the tier progression, genius. Nice try.

    There is no sense in tier progression with fuses.

    Go for it.

    An alternative/secondary form of this idea: Surrounding a block with redstone in the crafting table could give it the ability to carry a charge like this. In case people don't want the big red block being a part of things (aesthetics and all).
