posted a message on Why is it called griefing?
My opinion on greifers is that in my opinion are either bullies who are cowards irl, players jealous of other player's works, or in extreme cases like server payback for not giving the creator credit for their work. Either way I hate greifing outside of factions and want it stopped.

as for the origin of the word I have to agree with Duke on this

posted a message on what is the weirdest thing you have ever seen on minecraft?
I have seen a lot of weird things including...

Villagers jumping off cliffs (multiple times)
Flying squids (1.6.2 server lag, once)
Creeper Dud (creeper failed to explode twice)
Frozen Ghast charges that when I got close enough to hit them with a blaze rod they would move (happened 3 times, once on peaceful)

But the strangest thing just happened on thanksgiving. I accidently loaded a world that I had hit the stackoverflow error and the water glitched to the point that the stackoverflow error failed to trigger (water was triggering the error at y18) I managed to get to the spot and listed in the crash dump and found no water in that spot, but just to be on the safe spot I capped off 3 water source blocks and 2 lava source blocks and reinforced a taiga lake at the surface that was ultimately triggering the error.

    in long terms short:
a bug stopped another bug that would have crashed the game.

    Quote from DeanUK
No bugfixes? To be completely honest, I'd rather Mojang worked on the bugs of 1.7 than work on adding new features.
I 2nd that!As cool as this update is, it doesn't solve my game killing issueException while updating neighbors java.lang.StackOverflowError: Exception while updating neighbors.(didn't mean to quote twice)

posted a message on What do you NOT want to see in 1.8?
The one thing I don't want to see in 1.8 that is currently in 1.7 is this:

    java.lang.StackOverflowError: Exception while updating neighbours

Haven't tested world so far but multiplayer is not working well, most servers stuck in pinging or cant reach at all (all worked in 1.6)

posted a message on The Missing Building Blocks (Now With Pictures!)
Here are my ideas that would improve the building experience...

-Moss Stone Slab: It’s crafted the same way as a regular cobble stone slab is crafted but with moss stone instead of cobble stone.

-Moss Stone Stairs: It’s crafted the same way as a regular cobble stone stairs is crafted but with moss stone instead of cobble stone.

-Stone Brick Wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with stone bricks.

-Brick Wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with bricks.

-Sandstone Wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with sandstone.

-Nether Brick Wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with nether bricks.

-Smooth Sandstone Slab: It’s crafted the same way as stone slab is crafted but with smooth sandstone.

-Quartz Wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with quartz blocks.

-Mossy Stone Brick slab: It’s crafted the same way as a regular cobble stone slab is crafted but with mossy stone bricks instead of cobble stone.

-Mossy Stone brick stairs: It’s crafted the same way as a regular cobble stone stairs is crafted but with mossy stone bricks instead of cobble stone.

-cracked Stone brick Slab: It’s crafted the same way as a regular cobble stone slab is crafted but with cracked stone bricks instead of cobble stone.

-cracked Stone brick Stair: It’s crafted the same way as a regular cobble stone stairs is crafted but with cracked stone bricks instead of cobble stone.

-Cracked Stone Brick wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with cracked stone brick blocks.

-mossy Stone Brick wall: It’s crafted the same way as cobble/moss stone wall is crafted but with mossy stone brick blocks.

Red Sandstone: It’s crafted the same way as sand stone is crafted but with red sandstone. There would also be smooth, chiseled, slab, smooth slab, and stair and wall variants.

Moss stone Monster Egg: Monster egg that looks like moss stone

Iron Gates: crafted with bars instead of sticks and iron blocks instead of wood blocks. they would work just like a wood gate.

Stained Quartz: Stained clay is slightly darker than the wool blocks; Stained quartz would be slightly lighter than the wool blocks. This would make pixel art and player statues with various lighter shades of greens, yellows, reds, etc. a reality as well as some interesting builds.

Maple trees: The leaves would be slightly darker than oak leaves no matter what biome it is found in. The wood and wood planks would be a color between the oak and spruce variants and the planks could be crafted into maple stairs and slabs, as well as doors, sticks, fences etc.
