Hey there. Me and a few friends are running a small Youtube channel trying to focus on multiplayer nonsense, even in single player games. For our first proper multiplayer game, we're playing survival on Minecraft.

    Channel Link

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3HITdHsnKe1FN2HBTAv5zg

We also have plans currently to invite more people onto the server and to make it semi-modded by adding in funky custom command block weapons and tools.

We also have a few other older Minecraft videos, such as a Minecraft Adventure Map Let's Play, and a command block mod showcase.

(This probably doesn't work anymore with Minecraft 1.11, due to how now ArmorStands are called armor_stands)

Thanks for checking out this page. I hope you enjoy your stay in our magical magical Youtube land.

Alright, I know it has taken a while, but here is my video of the map. Well, part 1 of 2 anyway.

I probably spent way too long on the thumbnail.

Hey, I tried to make a Youtube video for this map. ... But... it's not exactly... what you'd expect. I'll still probably publish it though. It might take a while to edit and upload.

I thought the map glitched out on me because I was using commands to see how certain parts of the map worked, but after watching Kingdragon's video, I realize it was because I missed the key in the library. I ended up forcing my way up the stairs by using /setblock to replace the red barrier like blocks with air, and I got some... interesting results. After I stole everything that wasn't nailed down, that is.

Although, I'll edit in some text explaining that it's not the map's fault.

That is exactly what I've done with the blaze rod.

Not quite. This is using /replaceitem so that people automatically get the item as soon as they log in and they don't have to go pick up an item from somewhere.

Is there a way so I can just type a command and every item will have the faster swing speed in the game? I want to use this for regular vannila survival minecraft...

If you want it to be like 1.8 and you don't care about having access to your offhand slot, there is a way to do this with one command block. First, find your world spawn (it's where you spawned in when you first generated the world, and you can change it with "/setworldspawn ~ ~ ~") and do "/give @p command_block". Put down the command block anywhere within a couple chunks of the world spawn and right click on it while you're in creative mode to enter its GUI. Click the button that says "Impulse" until it says "Repeat", then paste in this command:
    /replaceitem entity @a slot.weapon.offhand minecraft:firework_charge 1 0 {AttributeModifiers:[{AttributeName:"generic.attackSpeed",Name:"generic.attackSpeed",Amount:30,Operation:0,UUIDLeast:230144,UUIDMost:644609,Slot:"offhand"}]}

Then place a lever on the command block and flip it. If you want to stop the command block from spamming the chat, type
     /gamerule commandBlockOutput false

What that command does is it constantly puts a firework star in everyone's offhand, and when they hold this firework star, they can spam click to attack like in 1.8. This means you don't have to individually give each player an item. Now, there are a couple problems with this simple solution, and solving them takes more command blocks. I can try to explain how to improve it if you'd like.

... You know, I personally don't get why so many people dislike the 1.9+ combat system... I rather like it.

Huh... so I got almost the Staff of Ysera from something called 'The Entity'? Have I been blessed by Spider Cthulhu? Spider Cthulhu is the worst Cthulhu because it seems barely able to overpower an immobile college student suspended on a hook.

Also, has anything major happened with Moog city?

Anyway, I have all these shields. I should probably use them. I toss the World Tree Shield onto the ground and use it to grow a small tree. I then put the Black Hole Shield on top of the tree and massively grow the tree, shooting the Black Hole Shield up into the sky. When the shield is halfway between the ground here and Earth, I remotely deactivate the shield's electromagnetic containment field, thus letting a black hole hang in the air to act as a shield against attacks. And then, to gain mass, the black hole promptly eats the massive tree it rode to get up here.

I recover the Black Hole Shield via the power of plot convince and prepare to use it again. This time, I use the Glacier Shield to freeze an area of land and make it slippery. At the end, I put a little black hole and then go to the opposite side and slide the Black Hole Shield down the makeshift bowling ally. When it gets to the end, it gets caught in the gravitational pull of the smaller black hole and that slingshots it around up into the air where it passes by the other black hole, and creates another one. So now, the two black holes orbit around each other and I've created a binary black hole system to act as a shield for Earth.

    Binary Black Hole shield:

    HP: Whatever/Whatever

Whenever Earth is hit with an attack that targets multiple shields, the Binary Black Hole recovers 5% of its HP.

Of course, given this is a 1 post summon, you don't have to do that little gimmick if you don't want to, Tazz.

    Alchemy and charges:

Powermace lvl 4, Stormforged Axe lvl 2, Charged Hammer lvl 2, Ekog Clock lvl 3, Coghammer lvl 3, Duotine Gas Generator lvl 5, TrueSilver Champion lvl 5, Argent Lance lvl 2, Sword of Justice lvl 3, Armor of Light lvl 7, Glacier Shield lvl 7, World Tree Shield lvl 10, Black Hold Shield lvl 10, Glove of the Sun lvl 3, Coal lvl1 (YERS!), Glyph of Mana lvl 6, Glyph of Life lvl 8, Glyph of Growth lvl 4, Glyph of Decay lvl 7, Green Staff of Spider Cthulhu lvl ??

    PowerMace && Stormforged Axe && Charged Hammer && Dr.Balanced's Boombot = The BoomHammer 8/13

Got +17. +1 to Pricey, +1 to Hezetor, +1 to Tabbune

    Something: 2/50

Project Sun: 42/50 Initiate the thingy! Might.
Project Moon: 33/50 More mind melting than Cthulhu. Hopefully anyway. Mind.

posted a message on Do you prefer playing maps in a group of people or just solo?

A while ago, I made a map where the combat was based around lots of command block systems that were unique to each player, but I also wanted to make it multiplayer compatible. So, I made separate 'classes' each with different commands and then each player could be a different class. Even though the map supported 1 to 5 players, I feel most people just played it single player anyway, which meant that all my efforts designing multiple classes were pointless and I should have just focused on giving more options to one class.

So, long story short, I'm thinking of trying my hand at map building once again and wanted to ask everyone if they like playing maps multiplayer when they offer the option. If a lot of people actually do, then I'll want to put effort into making my map more multiplayer compatible.

Hey, it's me boithday. But I'd rather not deal with charges and alchemies and stuff on my birthday. So, all that progresses and stuff. +1 to Hezetor, Pricey, and Toast. Anyway, what is this? A Prisoner's Dilemma challenge again? I thought we weren't going to have these.

Anyway, because I have nothing better to do with my HP, I get in my 18th century zeppelin thing complete with the black hole storage that apparently you can get from writing lots of thesis papers about natural science, engineering, psychology and the like. This allows me to become airborn and I use my own HP pool to try and body block up to 3 attacks against Earth this turn. I only go for 3 because I want my HP regen to save me. I keep my hunger topped off with the... like... 32 bread in storage that can keep a crew of 3 people going long enough to explore entire continents. Very few people get this reference.

    And that’s it! Thoughts?

Eh, to be honest, I'm kinda getting tired of the whole DTG game 'formula' and liking RP more and more. But maybe I could play this game as a neutral, never actually attack anything, and spend my time making items. Then I give those items to raid bosses I summon and whoever kills it gets the item.

Also, I kinda dislike this idea of specific flaws and weaknesses in entities/items because it feels too... obvious. I'd rather have a system of playing around benefits rather than playing to flaws, if that makes any sense.

Let me get a simple example; Earth Elemental A. To me, it seems way too simple for it to just have a buff that gives it resistance to electric attacks and a weakness to, say, getting distracted by gemstones. With that, you obviously counter it by throwing gemstones at its face, which doesn't really encourage you to change your action or strategy much. Instead, I'd rather give it a system like...

Has 75% damage resistance. Every time this entity is hit, the damage resistance goes down by 25%. Resets to 75% at the end of the turn.

That way, to properly counter my entity, you have to change your actions mechanically, not just in flavor text to make it include a gemstone or whatever. To counter it, maybe you'd want to summon Water Elementals B, C, and D. That way, you use those weak entities to break the Earth Elemental's damage resistance and then hit it hard with your own attack.

This sort of idea also means people are more rewarded for having a larger stash of weapons, provided those weapons work in mechanically different ways. Although I'm not sure that's a good thing. If someone has some kind of AOE thing that hits every target on the map for low damage, they're going to have an easy time wearing down the Earth Elemental's damage resistance without much of a cost.

Of course, this more mechanical focus can be pretty easily combined with the more flavor text focus.

I don't think I'll be able to get my attack all ready before Tazz posts. Oh well. I'll just keep adding to it and use it when there's another good chance.

And maybe I shouldn't compete with Crystal, because that was quite good.

Well, even if something has been used before, you can use it again because there are multiple versions of the same characters. (At least, that's our excuse) I've seen the supposedly 'unique' Arceus like... 3 separate times.

HP: 4/4. Yeah, anything that hits will destroy it.

    Velocity Uncertainty: 0%
    Position Uncertainty: 1000%

    Matter Collection: _ _ _
    Primed Matter: _ _ _

By default, the Position Uncertainty is Leictreon's dodge chance. This can dodge AOE attacks and other "undodgeable" attacks. Velocity Uncertainty helps add to Leictreon's attacks. Also, when Velocity Uncertainty is above 500%, Leictreon is considered to be airborn. Velocity and Position uncertainties always add up to 1000%. So when one drops, the other rises. When one rises, the other drops.

    Actions:

    * Chemical Beam: Deals 15,000 damage in a rather wimpy way.

    * Matter Collection: Decreases Position Uncertainty by 50% and gives Leictreon one unit of AZ matter. I really hope this is never used.

    * Atomic Reassemble: Converts one unit of matter into its Primed Alchemy state.

    * Matter Transfer: Both Cuarc and Leictreon must use this attack on the same turn. Cuarc gives all its matter to Leictreon.

    * Alchemy Shock: Uses up one unit of Primed Alchemy. The effect depends on what kind of matter it is. If Leictreon is above 500% Velocity Uncertainty, the effect also hits another target for half effect, rounded down. (these are really powerful because Cuarc has to collect the matter, transfer it to Leictreon, then Leictreon has to Prime it and use it. That's like 3 actions.)
    - PZ: Deals 50,000 damage immediately and 10,000 per turn for three turns.
    - GS: Deals 30,000 damage immediately and 10,000 per turn for three turns. Whenever Cuarc attacks the target, the debuff is extended by 1 turn.
    - NU: Gives the target crits for the next three turns.
    - AZ: Restores 75,000 HP immediately.

    And now for passives...

    * This passive makes the entity actually fair: Whenever Leictreon dodges an attack, its Position Uncertainty goes down by 1/200th of the damage it would have taken.

    * Linked Chances: If Cuarc's Position Uncertainty is less than Leictreon's at the end of the turn, Leictreon loses 50% Position Uncertainty and Cuarc gains 50% Position uncertainty.

    Commands:

Leictreon: PZ', GS, GS, NU, __

If Leictron is still outa this world radical (AKA: is untargetable), just prime the NU matter. Otherwise, shoot Chara with the primed PZ matter. I'm not sure what happened with it due to the tape.

    Action:
    ACTION FOCUSED CHECKBOX: [ X ]

@Tazz: Yes. I have plans for my other charges. Plus, the only completed charge I have is the Earth one, but it's more important to keep it as is. And when I posted that action, I don't believe Toast had actually used the charge, so I figured I'd attack the wall anyway.

Now that the wall is gone, let's do something else.

Seeing the wall broken, Mikoto steps towards the hole.

    Oh, thank you.

    But then HaveARottenDay interrupts him.

Huh? Oh, no. Of course not. I'm not planning on actually going in. Or out, as it were. The charge to fix Earth is almost done, but that's useless without a way to tell people apout it. I'm just going to stand guarj until the charge is done.

However, seeing Braxis and the other endermen introduce themselves, he becomes nervous and takes a few steps back again.

Attempted theft? Mikoto, what did you do?

    Immediately, Mikoto sounds defensive.

It wasn't like that. We thought the place was abanjoned and Gail wanted to explore it. We literally founj a tunnel into the ground, no warnings or signs of habitation.

Then hearing Braxis deny responsibility, he becomes quiet, but still speaks with (in his opinion) justified anger.

"Is probably punishment enough"? Don't say that like it's justified. She can parely speak anymore. How can that b-

    Wait...

Mikoto suddenly stops as he hears Gail, who seemed to need to carefully navigate the phonetics of English.

Stop... it... ... an accident... um... ... is an accident...

Mikoto sighs, not wanting to disappoint Gail.

    Okay...

Then he looks up at Braxis again, the sound of vindication gone from his voice.

I'm sorry. We haj no idea that the place was your city. And I don't know anything about this teleportation, unless differing standarjs are making things difficult. But me and Gail hafe only been there once and Inari has nefer been there.

And with their disappearance, Mikoto and Inari go to guard the hole in the wall until the charge to fix Earth is done.

So if anyone tries to injure any civilians, which might happen, they get counter attacked by this action. The Veteran (who actually exists) joins Hezetor in looking around Moog City for lifeforms. And while there, he picks up a bit of paper from the ground, which is the half finished map of the area Gail was making before she dropped it.

Oh, and Tazz? I assume we can't just waltz into the End, right?

    Alchemy and charges:

Powermace lvl 4, Stormforged Axe lvl 2, Charged Hammer lvl 2, Ekog Clock lvl 3, Coghammer lvl 3, Duotine Gas Generator lvl 5, TrueSilver Champion lvl 5, Argent Lance lvl 2, Sword of Justice lvl 3, Armor of Light lvl 7, Glacier Shield lvl 7, World Tree Shield lvl 10, Black Hold Shield lvl 10, Glove of the Sun lvl 3, Coal lvl1 (YERS!), Glyph of Mana lvl 6, Glyph of Life lvl 8, Glyph of Growth lvl 4

(Paper && Ink Dye) || (Wither Skeleton Skull && Podzol) = Glyph of Decay 6/8

(Paper && Light Grey Ink) || (Quartz && Glass && Gold) = Glyph of Purity 3/10 (Cure debuffs, hopefully)

Actually, put that on hold or something. I don't think it will be very useful for the cost. Instead, let's do something more interesting...

(The Origuni (from Enter the Gungeon) || grey ink) || ((Paper with Proof for the Intermediate Value Theorem && Paper with Proof for the Mean Value Theorem && Paper with Proof for L'Hôpital's Rule) && (Barometer && Stopwatch && Anemometer (measures wind speed && Hand Fan)) = Limit Found 1/??

A pistol made out of paper origami with tons of mathematical symbols and drawings on it. It's extremely light, and not particularly powerful, but it measures the change in the wind with respect to time, allowing its bullets to find their marks with pinpoint accuracy. Then even after that, it establishes a position equation for the bullet with f(0) being at the pistol's barrel and f(t) being at the target. So with this and some very hazy interpretations of the theorems used to make the weapon, the gun defines the bullet's path, velocity, and acceleration, allowing said bullet to go around obstacles, guided by wind. I'll probably upgrade this later with more mathematical theorems.

    PowerMace && Stormforged Axe && Charged Hammer && Dr.Balanced's Boombot = The BoomHammer 6/13

Got +2. +2 to Pricey, +1 to Hezetor.

Project Earth: 50/50 I'm contributing this to fixing Earth. Heart.

Project Sun: 28/50 Initiate the thingy! Might.
Project Moon: 26/50 More mind melting than Cthulhu. Hopefully anyway. Mind.

Hopefully we can get this entity to sync up with a different project...

I personally find it WAYYYYY easier to write RP than attack descriptions. For the later, I tend to just run out of stuff to say after a paragraph or two.

Oh yeah, and you can prevent something from showing up in Tazz's post if you put it in quotes,

    like this.

If you quote this message, the part that's already in quotes disappears. And you do that by typing in:

    [.quote] -Stuff- [/quote]

But without the period, of course. We should probably be doing that for our alchemy lists at least.
