    I love these mods, thank you Reika! :D

    I wanted to get a taste for just RC and reactor craft, so I have been trying them exclusively. Is there a combination of your mods you would recommend to get the proper experience? I tested out the ender forests, meteors and wiring but was unsure if they should always be included.

    I have done thee runs to jet fuel restarting to adjust strategy.

    I made the mistake of b-lining for machines that do not directly contribute to progression and really set things back. Playing with only RC the extractor is a must to be able to overcome to steel costs.

    Takes me about 10 days on the average.

    I can get there, just not a foot hold after that, at a know location or above -10 XP.

    Last run I just got to pick and setup a bunker for the night and at dawn an enderman removed a wall block allowing a skele a point blank shot :(

    Good deal thank you will try that instead. Not too worried about losing spawn as the beds are quick to get, spawn area food depletes quick and just a death or two negative XP set you up for "GG".

    Just need to get that perfect run of lucky surface ore, then get a very basic killing room to quick XP to have a launch pad to the rest of the mod.

    Focus on leveling first?

    I am having a hard time getting the caving stage going. Every time I get a pick, around lvl5 XP, armor, food, find a cave ect I get one shot and start a death loop.

    Should I be plodding around the overworld snatching surface stuff while I murder mob feet for XP till I am max health?

    Also I have yet to start farming, if the sythe required to harvest? (Do not want to get set and find it is unsustainable/inferior to eternal roaming)

    I really like the mod concept just fuzzy on the specifics to maxamize fun.

    Looking for a mod where you make a totem/effigy similar to don't starve. Would use this in a hardcore setting where it is consumed on your death and you must have made one to have an extra life before world deleting.

    Recipe would be moderately expensive 2 ender eyes a bit of diamond, gold, redstone ect...

    Additionally a penalty for having one made till used would be great.

    HC MC gives that feeling of risk but silly mistakes building related ect make it too temping to save scum...

    This effigy would make for enough penalty too feel risk without a silly oops risk that just begs you to save scum.

    Ore is much closer to the surface in the vicinity. Late game you find some ore is very deep.

    As a thirst mod already exists I do no believe there are plans to add. Too much amazing stuff going on with recent changes.

    Well that is why I prefaced with "lazy pick method" just to start people. Once people get their feet wet they will have am easier time using the quadrant method.

    Lazy pick method: Get initial ore hit. Move around / dig till you keep getting the highest amount. Dig 25 blocks in all 6 direction from that point. Profit XD

    I enjoy the pick and with the better vein size recently it is much easier and rewarding. After using the pick for a few worlds you do get a knack for it and can get to the goods with little wasted exploration.

    Gunpowder by the boat load and yes used once I near a hit. Found a way to blast with minimal rock fall.

    Yes pls TNT. I have been playing with multiple mob trap formats to get some serious TNT for mining. Exploritory detonations are very useful in getting to veins quickly. I am hung up on a high yield mob system, the drop rate is HORRIBLE and I used all the tricks I know work in vanilla. Anyways, sulfer TNT would be very helpful nice without being too OP.

    XD people keep missing the point, it is ment to be difficult. Must be the impact of all those linear cut scene games where you interact for seconds at a time....

    Gotta pick fruit; if you just went in slashing about you would have fruit parts.

    The scythe will have cool use I am sure once wheat has been reworked. Having to till large areas with a metal plow hooked to an ox would be cool too. Then you could build wagons for ox, and wheels would require barrel making; and barrels plus wheat n hops then needs a fermentation mechanic. Ah so much good stuff.

    It is ok, more legit bumps for the thread keep vis on TFC and help Bioxx. Even if they are lazy.

    Looks like you forgot to place TFC_resources in the jar as well as TFC_core. It is easy to overlook.
