Don't walk through the portal, walk into the shimmering purple and then stand still.

sunperp posted a message on My house takes fire...Posted in: Survival ModeYour chests shouldn't have burned, since as far as I know, Minecraft chests are fire and lava proof. If your chests are gone, then either someone manually broke them or they blew up from a creeper or TNT.

Pirateboy04 posted a message on Is there a way I could copy a huge world and paste it somewhere?Posted in: Java Edition SupportOn Java Edition, at least, your world is just a folder in .minecraft/saves. You can copy and paste the folder wherever you want!

TileEntity posted a message on Strange behavior of Minecraft regarding saved worlds (Java Edition)Posted in: Java Edition SupportMinecraft does not save the worlds in clouds or similar - they are always locally saved on your system
If you want to use a backup, make sure you removed the old world from your saves directory - merging and old map with a backup map will mix up things

ScotsMiser posted a message on Why did my mule die ?Posted in: Survival ModeExpanding on Tails1's reply:
I had to look quite carefully, but this appears to be correct.
At ~ 21:40 just as you go to sleep the mule is bouncing slightly in the background; this seems to be sufficient to cause MC to consider it to be suspended by the lead — apparently because the post to which is was hitched was at a higher level and the mule was in a corner and so bounced rather than climbing or being considered stationary on the level at which it started as one would expect.
Should this occur again, placing water before breaking the lead ought to work. (Slime blocks under the mule ought also be effective, as would vines — but either would be more work.)
From the wiki:
"…the fall damage is calculated based on distance fallen rather than on
velocity when hitting the ground. The distance is accumulated based on a
change in position each tick and rising does not reduce the
accumulator, thus an entity bouncing in mid-air on the end of a lead accumulates fatal amounts of fall distance despite never being more than a few blocks above the ground." -

Lava, fire, suffocation, drowning. Just be creative?

Sir, you need a new computer.
1
On consoles the only way is to get a resource pack from the marketplace.
1
Then tell your friend to delete your player.dat and try again.
2
Mate you actually need to read and understand what's written. Nowhere was mentioned to delete codechickenlib completely, only the config.
1
Then the issue is with your friends server.
1
It works the same way as in single-player.
1
Minecraft is a poorly coded game.
1
The server is overloaded.
