Clearing books that's not written by X is possible, but it's not that simple.
Since I haven't tried it myself, I rather leave it for others to answer.
By counting how many X's written book a player has, you will need somewhere to store the result, AKA a scoreboard, to store the count result of the book.
A dummy scoreboard will do.
/scoreboard objectives add countx dummy
So you will have to use execute store result score <...> run clear <...> 0 to store the result of the count.
Clear 0 wouldn't remove those books from player's inventory, and books written by X will have author nbt in the item.
By adding author:"X" in the clear <data>, together you will be able to detect and store the amount of X's written book into a scoreboard.
/execute as @a store result score @s countx run clear @s minecraft:written_book{author:"X"} 0

It's just not the community's golden age anymore.. It's just that the community don't really stand as one these days.. back then, people stand together... especially on map collaboration and stuff.. there were maps like the code, diversity, herobrine's mansion/returns, ect.. those maps keeps the community together. I do belive this game starts falling apart since skyDoesMinecraft started the whole try not to laugh challenge and stuff like that as his fanbase was huge.. another thing i see is that this "generation" don't really stands out.. I remember seeing people like Sethbling doing insane redstones.. it keeps the community motivated to do more.. these days, it's just different..
I wouldn't say this game is dead, it's just not moving in an exciting way for it to be noticed as good anymore..

Maybe adding the ability for creepers to also blend in with rain and snowy weather? Maybethe creepers will have white spots when it snows or something like that

would be cool if they could also calculate colors of walls too.. or also as a different entity as normal creepers..would caught more people off guard if not all creepers could camouflage.. but this is indeed a really cool simple mod for survival !!

A simple yet amazing puzzle map designed to melt your brain (not literally(but close)). Lots of twisted illogical yet real stuff and amazing (and fun) auto reset so you can finish the map... twice... or more!
And with one unique and epic boss battle!

will we have bounce arrows? maybe just for fun or for an achievement? maybe adding ways to do trickshots with bows? it could be a fun way to kill...

Well, the clock probably got unloaded, i've added a hopper clock to replace it automatically in the new version.. In case this happened again..

oh and if you make it a hard battle, make it hard but not frustrating
