Working on a 16x16 quarry mine intended to reach completely down to bedrock. Currently on about level Y-46.
You wouldn't believe how many iron pickaxes I've gone through already.
So I walked into the hotel-for-villagers I built in my creative world, and saw this:
White-Robed Villager: I'm sorry, sir, but we do not rent rooms to zombies at this hotel.
Zombie: You've got to be kidding me! That's so unfair!
Brown-Robed Villager: Get me out of here...
I tried watching an episode of MyStreet or Minecraft Diaries or whatever it's called. It was...strange. And like 75% of the storyline was drama over who was dating who. :\
I like stacyplays' Dogcraft series way more.
I find this thread a little bit stupid. People can choose whatever skin they want to, Because a skin means your own opinions, tastes and preferences, Remember, EVERYONE has different tastes. Basically this thread is: "Oh look you wear this type of skin I hate, you should feel bad about it"
I personally find every skin good, exepct those nude ones.
Here is my skin, If you want to see it:
1. Mediocre, unoriginal let's-plays done by little kids trying to be the next big thing
2. Stupid parody songs (dumb lyrics and bad animation, or worse, bad singing and boring machinima "animation")
3. Any video with poor video capture or microphone work
4. Hissing, breathy, poorly recorded, or otherwise grating voices
5. Clickbait videos
6. Loud dubstep intros
7. Begging for likes and subscribes/going into the comments of big-name Youtuber videos and begging for likes and subscribes there
8. Inappropriate videos (I hate that kind of stuff! That's why the only Youtubers I watch are kid-friendly ones like stacyplays, BigBst4tz, and Stampy Cat.)
Since I only play singelplayer, the state of the multiplayer community is irrelevant to me.
I actually don't miss the old days. No offense to those that do miss them, of course--I just prefer the new versions. I started playing Minecraft at the time of Beta update 1.4.1, around April 2011 or so. So really, all I had in the beginning was unmodified singleplayer survival worlds. I don't miss those days. I really like all of the content they've released since. The game has so much more potential and depth now.
Among other things like finding oodles of iron but only two diamonds, I tamed a horse and outfitted him with iron armour and a saddle I found in a dungeon chest (score!) The horse is Hiro and the donkey is Henrietta. They're both nametagged, but you can't see it in the screenshot.
(That pink thing hiding behind the fence is Peaches, my pet creeper. I have the CustomNPCs mod. She follows me around as long as I give her food, and she's trained to kill zombies and skeletons. She once saved my hide by killing a skeleton that ambushed me and shot me in the back while I was monster hunting...I was so proud of her! Anyhoo, she's pink so I don't mistake her for a regular creeper in the midst of battle. ...What? I don't tell you how to play Minecraft.)
Also, I was flying around in spectator mode and I found a white tulip hiding behind a lavafall in an underground ravine. Go figure.
A heavy bang startled Ayva awake. She coughed the last of the smoke out of her lungs, then glanced about to find herself lying on a cold metal floor in some sort of bunker tank, in complete darkness. Dozens of other mobs were lying on the floor, some still out cold and others slowly coming to as well. She muttered something in Ender, probably cursing out Teft and the golems who captured her, then sat up and shivered, wondering what was going on.
I came across a fossil assembly for the first time while gathering resources in an abandoned mineshaft. I mined out the matrix of the fossil, leaving it in place and articulated, and then created an exhibition hall like in a museum.
Fnaf skins, skins of famous youtubers, some emo/anime skins, YT skins (headphones, YouTube logo), skins with no shading, derp skins, short Steve holding block, block texture for the whole skin, mobs that don't fit the model of the player (villager, chicken, spider, witch etc. Zombies, creepers and endermen are ok), skins with things like mouths on the body segment or a face on the bottom of the head, skins from movies or TV. These are the ones I hate. I have attached some images of the exceptions to the emo/anime style skins since some of them are quite good (in my opinion).
I was messing around with custom options, and set the only biome to be frozen river. I fiddled with the terrain settings and this is the outcome: (I modified the sea height if you couldn't tell)
This is in the ocean; roughly Y 116. Just amazing.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity!
One day, when I was so bad at Minecraft I had no idea what I could do, I put up a sign near my wall I built saying 'NO MONSTERS ALLOWED!' and I thought it would work, xD
Aria Math is one of my favorites, too. For me, it evokes the feeling of starting an adventure in a brand new and mysterious land, or traveling with a group of gypsies on the savannah plains as the sun is setting. I keep a playlist of "Adventure Music" soundtracks on Youtube, and I made sure to put Aria Math on the list.
