Finally finished my quarry mine about a week or so ago.
I found about two or three full stacks of coal, 40 redstone, 20 lapis, maybe 16 gold ore, I don't remember how much iron because I used most of it to make new pickaxes, and enough cobblestone to fund my building projects for the next 20 years. (Uh, more or less.) And I exhausted probably more than 30 iron pickaxes to mine it all.
My goal was to find diamonds.
So here comes my favorite part...
AWW YEAH!
12 diamonds in all, baby!
Except I don't know what I want to do with them :S
I am sick of all these " complaint " emails I am getting.
Okay most people have been cool about my opinions ( Taigona for example ) but some people have been complaining about my first post . They just sy I don't like Jetra or Lukessie !
Okay I admit I may not ship Jetra but that doesn't mean I'm graffiting " I HATE JETRA " on city walls .
Also I am neutral on Lukessie . It's fine and I understand why to ship it but I don't ship it either only because they fact you can choose how Jesse looks, the gender, and the personality . These are my reasons for not shipping these ships OK?!
Yeesh , people this isn't religion its shipping!
Also people have been commenting I have only been favoring my own ships !
That's so stupid I won't even reply to that !
This is why I haven't told anyone the ships I like because of this .
Yes I may ship Petra and Lukas with other characters but this isn't why I said this !
People remember this is only ships in a telltale game . This is exactly like the Pokemon animie. We ship people , there are " moments" , then BOOM the show or game ends and turns out there was no canon ships whatsoever. That's good because nobody gets upset or somebody with a canon ship says " HAHA I WIN!"
I AM OUT!!!!!!!
Don't let anyone chase you away from the forum because they can't handle someone not shipping the same thing as them. Block them (using the "Ignore User" feature) or just ignore their hate-mail. You don't have to put up with that foolishness.
I totally agree that Telltale shouldn't confirm any ships, even the pairings that I personally like. It would be way too polarizing.
"This isn't religion, it's shipping" True 'dat. I think it's kinda amusing how some militant shippers claim to be those "love and tolerance" people who decry "fundamentalists," but yet they'll tear your head off if you ship something else or make a comment supposedly attacking their beloved OTP.
I don't understand why people get so touchy about pairing up fictional characters. Especially when none of the ships are probably ever going to be confirmed.
It's a big part of the reason why I avoid including ships in my fan-fiction. I tease pairings I like, but shipping always takes the backseat to the actual plot and premise. As I described it once, the shipping is "just sprinkles on the ice cream" for those who like it. The mark of a mature fan is when they can enjoy fan fiction and fan art featuring pairings they might not like, simply because they appreciate the fan artists' work.

Honestly we should all try to be nicer to each other !
Yes, yes, we should. A fandom is much more fun when people aren't constantly arguing over little things. Most of any particular fandom is actually quite agreeable and polite if you stay away from the shipping discussions. And sometimes you find a diamond in the rough with someone who can actually accept that people are going to ship different pairings than they.
I've had it a few times before where someone sent me a review on my fanfic that was basically just complaining about my shipping choices. Like, seriously. No comment on the chapter. No "hey, nice writing" or even any constructive criticism. They reduced their perception of my writing to be solely determinant of what I shipped. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I don't crank out 4,000-word honkers just to get dodgy reviews either asking or complaining about shipping. If people could actually judge my writing as stories instead of shipping galleries, that'd be great.
Don't even get me started on the dogmatic shippers who will burn you at the stake for not liking XYZ pairing or not liking slash pairings.
Honestly, even though I ship, it annoys me when people go overboard with it. IE when the attitude is "Oh my gosh! They were standing in the same room! It must be true love!" "They looked at each other! Soul mates!" "Never mind that they barely interacted, they are obviously madly in love with each other!!!" and so on. I'm not attacking any ship or shipper specifically, just an attitude that takes pairing up fictional characters way too seriously.
...Chill out there, Taigona. Stop venting.
By the way, RROOP, if you want to directly address another user, it's a good idea to quote their post so other users are aware of who you're talking to and won't get confused by stray posts that may or may not be addressing another user. To quote a user post, there's a "Quote" button third from the right at the bottom right corner of the post you want to reply to. It will automatically open up an editor for a reply post, with the quoted post in a blue box. It's editable, in case you wanted to trim down a long quoted post. You can then type your reply under the quoted box. Hope that helps! Welcome to the forum! Sorry I didn't say it earlier.
Besides why would Telltale do that ? Most people don't like Petra or Lukas so why force the character they are playing to? I'm not saying this because I don't ship them but because think of Logic. Still ship it if you want . I don't really think any ship will happen . Except Harvor .
**
Not necessarily. Lukas and Petra are likely the two most popular characters in the game, given how fans gush about them and draw all kinds of fanart for them. I'm assuming you meant "like" in a romantic sense, but I just wanted to point that out.
Even though I ship Lukessie, I agree with you on that point. Telltale shouldn't force any ship into the game. That would be awful.
Really, I just save the shipping for when I write fanfiction.
Did you know that a Telltale dev agreed with a fan that Harper and Ivor "make a cute couple?" (I don't remember where I saw it, but I think it was either Twitter or Tumblr.) I know that's not definite proof, far from a confirmation of Harvor, but it's still a promising sign...kinda-sorta. Yeah.
I used it as the floor in the diorite-and-birch-log "Dalmatian house" I built in my creative world.
How does that look? I find juxtaposing cream-colored blocks like birch wood and End stone with dark oak very aesthetically pleasing. It's the warm light/dark contrast that does it.
End stone always looked like it would have a pocked, cratered texture if you felt it or walked on it. Were that true, I'll bet the chairs and table would be kind of wobbly on the floor.
Hey it's theemoji and I forgot to metion who my last posts were 4 !!!! Ha that must have confused you guys ! Give me slack this is the first time I have an account . Anyway 1st post was 4 rainbow gal and second was for some mean Jetra shipper who dissed me and my ship and just about everyone else . ( fine I admit I forgot the persons name sue me !). Anyway this is what I think will happen in Minecraft season 2: ๐๐๐๐๐๐.
1: Harper will be VERY MAD at Ivor who stole the atlas ( im sure they will still get 2gether # Harvor ! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. 2: Petra will be very very very tired or frustrated. Probably both lol poor her. 3: There will be a nerdy boy who will try to help them . And oliva and him will like each other . C'mon did u notice everyone expect Jesse ( for obvs reasons ) and Olivia are dating or are/ will be a couple? Harper and Ivor, Petra and Lukas , Em and Axel ? * squeals !* # I love those ships I'm a nerd
Thanks for the clarification. I couldn't really tell who you were talking to. :S
Next time you want to respond to a post, quote it so everyone knows that you're addressing that post. Just a friendly word of advice that'll make everything easier all around.
On the bottom right of the post you want to quote, there will be a few buttons and the one you're looking for in this case is "Quote". Press it and it'll make a fresh reply post with the post quoted inside it. You can trim down the quoted post if it's too long or not necessary to have all of the text quoted. It's a good habit to have, because then it will be clearer who you're talking to.
it's not that i dont have an account, im just stating the facts. you will not get sent in jail for downloading a cracked version of minecraft.
also that whole heartwarming section about game developers- im pretty sure mojang/microsoft/whatever-mega-company dont care if people download the game cracked or whatever. people can try out the game and if they like it, they can buy it.
Actually, they do care. Copying and redistributing Minecraft is one of the few things that you aren't allowed to do according to its TOS and EULA.
In both articles, it is stated that "giv[ing] copies of our Game to anyone else" is not allowed. Distributing cracked copies of Minecraft is therefore a violation of the TOS and EULA, making it unscrupulous to download cracked Minecraft. And basically illegal, too. So don't do it, and don't encourage it.
Besides, cracked copies of Minecraft are inferior to premium, and sometimes dangerous too. Unlike a real copy of the game, there is no guarantee that you are downloading a safe product. A cracked copy, in addition to not letting you access multiplayer or have a custom skin, can be out-of-date, infected with a virus or malware, or glitched out. It's not reliable.
TL;DR: Cracked copies of Minecraft violate the TOS and EULA. Don't distribute 'em; don't download 'em.
So true.
Her videos are more like cheap soap dramas with crappy anime plots than a proper roleplay.
Not to mention that the characters are just idiotic worshippers of her...
truely "compelling" storytelling...
I tried watching an episode of MyStreet or Minecraft Diaries or whatever it's called. It was...strange. And like 75% of the storyline was drama over who was dating who. :\
I like stacyplays' Dogcraft series way more.
"Yesterday my neighbor was playing Minecraft. He was so excited that he was yelling and I could hear him in my house, so I told him to bring it down a Notch."
Safety, friend, safety. No matter how obscure the dictionary word or character name is, it's still pretty easily guessed if the password is nothing but plain text.
If you want tips for a more secure password, try:
1. Inserting numbers among the letters, or replacing numbers with letters a la leet. L1k3 th!5.
2. Using _underscores_, *asterisks*, `graves`, or other unusual characters within the word.
3. Randomly capitalizing the letters within the word. Minecraft passwords are case sensitive.
4. The old standby, extra numbers! For ease of memory, make it a string of numbers with some meaning (like a particular year, the number of books in your favorite series, etc.)
5. Make the password a phrase, not just one word.
Write the password down on a piece of paper by your computer or on a text file. Change it to something new every so often. Make sure you remember what the actual password is--don't rely on muscle memory. Don't use the same password for multiple accounts.

Taigona's Creeper Apocalypse
(Long post due to several screenshots)
Three creepers spawned in the same spot in the desert. There's a reason why I call that overhang the "Devil's Hood."
I fought like five of the little green pests around a town the night immediately before, too. :S It was a Creeper Ambush!
I killed one with my sword and another exploded, killing the last one, so that worked out pretty nicely, I guess.
You've got to be joking.
What's one more, right?

Working on a 16x16 quarry mine intended to reach completely down to bedrock. Currently on about level Y-46.
You wouldn't believe how many iron pickaxes I've gone through already.

As far as I know, Telltale hasn't said anything about an episode 9 or season 2 of MCSM.

My favorite theory is that cats think creepers are big green scratching posts.
No wonder creepers want to get the heck away from kitties.

So I walked into the hotel-for-villagers I built in my creative world, and saw this:
White-Robed Villager: I'm sorry, sir, but we do not rent rooms to zombies at this hotel.
Zombie: You've got to be kidding me! That's so unfair!
Brown-Robed Villager: Get me out of here...
