    I suggest instead planning your model around the idea that a full block has to in fact be a full block. Less creative options, but also less hassle all around.

    That's fine, I didn't expect good news. I just wanted to make sure no one else had found something amazing that would let it be possible.
    I already tried to turn of culling of every block.. ehm *cough* NOP. just nop.
    Even if its bad news, its informative, you still saved me hours of searching around, so thanks a lot!

    Working on JSON models for my Resourcepack, I noticed that when placing down blocks that's been modeled to be less than a full block (It's a TNT block in this case) other blocks, by default uses Culling to do disable the faces, to save performance, however this is now causing me issues.
    A picture says more than a thousand words...



    My question is just then, is there a known fix for this? or am I doomed to have this?

    Curious if there's a way or if it could possibly be added to change the clay type that generates in mountians, I can see how Cyan works well with a vanilla texturepack, but I'd like to have it a different one as in my texturepack we use more.. actual coloured clay, thus we get.. cyan patches all over the mountains

    This seems to happen even without having shaders on.. To me it seems to actually happen when a lot of Entities are nearby.. at least that's what I've noticed. I do have shaders so it might be a side-effect of that. but it is more normal when a lot of entities are loaded for me.

    So I am trying to run these commands
    /effect @r[r=10] 8 3 128 - Negative Jump Boost
    /effect @r[r=10] 2 3 128 - Full Slowness

    From two command blocks, and apply it to a random player.

    However I can't for the life of me figure out how to apply it to the same player,

    seeing as its a random player in the radius of 10, it quite often splits off to different ones.

    I've tried to spawn ThrownPotion, but that either applies one effect or no effect at all.


    If anyone got any information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Understandable why arms and legs arent working, but thinking about it the only idea I have right away for what you can fix would be the head, I assume chest and legs at least is something the mods have to make their own support for? Not sure if this is something thats fixable from yourside.

    That´s rather weird, mine worked fine. I had to do that to make it work. Seeing as I have it with quite a big modpack and want the awesome features of optifine. Are you sure you have the right version? either the one he mentions in his main post or the newer ones should work.if that still doesnt work, I suggest a clean install to check if its a problem on your minecraft setup

    From my short experience animating models, it seems to be quite time consuming and hard so it'll probably take some time, unless he's really good at i.. And well he seems really good at it, all we do is wait and hope for updates ^^

    I have it working with IchunUtil and Backtools, so I know it does indeed work.


    Also, about 3D modelled armor, should I contact the author of the mod for compatibility fixes or is that something you can fix on your side? Thaumcraft is my main concern.
