Appearance: Seggurme has pale skin with various markings (both written symbols and scars) from previous ritual experience, the most notable being several snakelike lines running down his arms. He wears beaten crimson robes, covering most of his skin, except his head, which is covered by light, bristly hair. He is somewhat short and not very muscular, but is smart enough to realize this, and will most often run or hide when faced danger. He walks slightly hunched, but not enough to slow himself down.

Personality: Seggurme is quick to act, usually relying on his first thought to be the best in any given situation. He isn't the best conversationalist, but an alright listener and doesn't distrust people immediately (unless given reason to). He is a strong believer in fate, and as such doesn't dwell on unfavorable outcomes to his decisions. Life is fragile, and as long as he's alive, he's fine. And, of course, as a side effect to his days of practicing the dark magics, he will occasionally feel it necessary to chew on bones or attack a tree.
Background Story: Seggurme was raised in Grennmoore to be a lab assistant, used as a test for all sorts of dark rituals and experiments. He was not eager to do so, but did not rebel at the time, as he did not know where he would go or what would happen to him- after all, the world just outside was populated by dangerous creatures. However, he still yearned to be free of the shadow land, and would try to sneak in studying of some magic during the hours when the laboratories when empty. After nearly being caught twice, Seggurme realized he would not be able to complete his self-teaching alone and recruited a fellow laboratory assistant, Cirdune, to keep watch and help him find the materials he required. He believed his lure to the magic to be entirely out of free will, but soon he knew that it spoke to him through his own thoughts. The insanity began slowly, almost unnoticeable at first, but just as the physical marks had appeared on his body, the psychological ones did too.
After only a short time, Seggurme found it harder to keep his experience with the magic hidden. Twitching and shaking as he walked, he was equally fueled by fear and desire in his studies. However, the magi soon caught onto him, and Seggurme was ordered to be exiled into the swamp, along with Cirdune. He was dragged by his feet into the depths of the swamp, late in the night when he would have to face the beings he had feared his entire life. However, he was changed by the practice of the dark magic. Hearing the approaching residents of the swamp, he attacked Cirdune, biting and scratching. The sacrifice fueled the magic he had clouded his mind with, allowing him the strength and speed to escape the swamp unscathed.
Seggurme lived off of the land for several more months, hunting and gathering, desperately trying to being order back into his life. He realized that the curse he had put upon himself would never be lifted- instead, he would have to learn to be live with his insanity. After a long time spent pretending that the flowers were his fellow civilians in the wild, Seggurme arrived in Cirya, overly confident of his ability to blend in with the common folk. He maintained sanity long enough in Cirya, buying food and clothing with money he had been able to find on the ground and, occasionally, in the wallets of dead people. His experience in Cirya, while relatively short to the rest of his life, had done well in reconnecting him with society. He was still unstable, avoided people, and was practically nocturnal, but he was no longer violent. Living people regained some of their value to Seggurme, and he felt much more in control of himself.
However, once news of the new land, Vilkaya, reached the port, Seggurme was reminded by the eager travelers of how he too had left his original home. The painfully vivid memories of his experience at Grennmoore hit him, and he spent his remaining money on a boat ride to the new land, hoping it would provide at least a temporary escape. Perhaps the land even contained a cure for his ailment. Without a second thought, Seggurme boarded the ship, caught in the chaos of the crowded port.

Why do you want to join the server? To have fun with players who also want to just relax and play minecraft for what it is. Also to make friends, just have fun, build monuments to my greatness, become a god, explore the ocean depths, etc.

(If you're banned for x-ray, and greifing, you better have a good application.): Maybe one or two for servers with bad admins (abused power, usually they got admin rank by donating), and one I remember from a random IP I logged on to. The owner messed around with me for a bit, I was about to leave when someone on the server banned me.

Redstone: Probably 7, I can make several mechanisms and I love using redstone creatively in farms, transport systems, and explosives.
Building: 7-8, I enjoy making statues, fountains, and farms, but I don't do a whole lot of massive skyscrapers and whatnot (besides the occasional Godzilla-monster to terrorize the citizens of my village)
Designing: About 8, as said above I love doing small things and putting them together to make cities and starships.

I love to make puzzles and what you have written for the builder application appears to be just that. I have a good understanding of minecraft mechanics and can be very creative.
Do you think you would qualify, why: I have built some puzzles and traps on creative servers before, though I have never done any for a full-scale roleplay server such as this one. I realize someone with more experience could potentially have more to bring to the server, but for what I lack in experience I have in creativity and hard work.
