But are you actually measuring the temps? If you allow it do so, Minecraft can generate enough load to heat up even a high end video card, and tends to wreak havoc on ill-prepared laptops. Just because the graphics doesn't look complicated, doesn't mean it can't push your card to the brink of meltdown.

No, I cannot say I have. Running a desktop, incidentally.
When playing minecraft, SSP or SMP, seemingly at random-usually I get a few minutes before it happens, but sometimes it's hours and no problems, the graphics bug out and show as random colors. Screenshots posting:

Who do you want to team up with? (optional cause if you say that you want to join someone il put you up with someone random and it can be changed by will.): I don't really have a preference.
Have you ever been banned and why? I was banned once, a year and a half ago I think. It was due to a misunderstanding, and the server died before it could be resolved.
And for last are you good at building in Minecraft?: Yes. I am not a fast builder, but I am a good builder.

reason you should you be accepted: I have heard both good and bad things about this server from various people and places, in enough volume that I wish to look around and check it out. The forum post, at least, makes it look interesting. I always like city servers, and the coin system sounds interesting. I would like to be accepted, therefore, in order to check out the server, look around, and maybe even become a regular if I enjoy it.
Why do you think you would be a great addition to the Server?
Because I enjoy building, and have the occasional burst of megalomania, such as recreating the Roman Coliseum or building an entire city-all the more fun when others join the construction spree.

Yes, it also happens on vanilla. The mod in question is the Tekkit pack, if that matters though.
