As stated many times, most of these fanbases got their reputation because of the few bad fans out there. Not every PC user is like that, and I'm very sure that everyone here knows that. But yeah, there are a few bad PC fans, of course. A stereotype needs to originate somewhere.

Indeed my good sir. I have taken myself for a fool and thought that OP was simply stating that all PC users are bad... Good job calling me out on that

I will defend the pc masterrace for this one reason: Games are made on COMPUTERS and to have a game run at 30 fps on a COMPUTER that was built for GAMING is quite possibly the most disheartening thing. Listen I love consoles as much (a little less) than PC and respect all forms and systems to game on. That being said, the PC is in a sense, the make it or break it factor. With Steam, people are given access to the largest library of games... ever on the PC. The PC is also a huge demographic for developers as it allows user to have early access and bug testing. Now I believe that there have been some early alphas on Console systems but no where near as many as PC. The way you make the PC user is some SJW/Tumblrina that puts down everyone.

I think the whole pony fanbase on Instagram SPECIFICALLY is AIDS... they are literally a cult of people who wish nothing but pain for outsiders... I know because I was one of those fools... woe is me

posted a message on A Return That You May Like (do you like free downloads?)

Good afternoon, morning, or evening where you may be random user,

If you're reading this, you have just received an internet high five from me because I need listens. And you visiting this thread means you want to hear a tune! Without further waiting, I present to you my newest creation. And when I say new, keep in mind I actually mean a process that's taken close to 6 months listening, listening, tweaking, tweaking, a couple red bulls and some love to make. This is not your ordinary song however I must warn you, this song is dark, atmospheric, and in my opinion, truly unique (I'm not being biased). I need some publicity so along with this release, I'm giving it away as a free download for you to enjoy. If you do enjoy it.

I don't even remember there being a story. I mean unless you want to count Super Mario Bros. as a story cause that's what Wind Waker was. Going from island to island and killing some bad guys whilst trying to defeat Ganondorg for the Triforce. Basically he's trying to go He-Man in saying "I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!".

To say that the gameplay was attrocious then I highly reccomend you play Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. They have the exact same controls. Granted, Wind Waker to focus A LOT on the WIND WAKER aspect but I didn't find it too bad at all. IN fact it made the game overall feel like it was set in a big world. Graphics were gorgeous and the new Wii U HD remake looks fantastic.

List how console is superior to PC and I will list how PC is superior to console.

The same general rules for photography apply to screenshots.

    Good lighting and good composition.

The subject of your screenshot should be well-lit. Screenshots at night are fine, but the subject should be clearly visible.

For good composition, your subject should fill a fair amount of the frame, and follow the Rule of Thirds. This mean divide your view into a 3x3 grid. Your the center of your subject should be near where two of those lines intersect, instead of the middle of the shot. Horizon lines should go along one of the grid lines as well. Angle your shot to introduce diagonal lines, and use lines to draw your eyes to the subject.

Also remember to adjust draw distance accordingly. You can adjust the field of view (FOV) to suit your needs as well. Wide angle shots can create a dramatic perspective. Try taking your screenshots at different times - they may look far better against a sunset/sunrise.

Here are some more pointers: http://www.digitalcameraworld.com/2012/04/12/10-rules-of-photo-composition-and-why-they-work/

Hey sir I cannot thank you enough for this. I'm not a big builder type but I do have a fondness for natural generation in the Minecraft realm. Could I just apply the same rules that you have given me here for let's say a mountain?

I don't actually dislike any fanbase, I just hate it when they say that "their fanbase is superior."

So I have a genuine interest in Minecraft. The gameplay is fun and all but what I truly adore is the amazing pictures that some people manage to take. I understand that pressing f7 is not hard but could I possibly get any tips on how to take some truly memorable screenshots?

If this was made into a certain artwork, it would have a strong sentence about gaming today.

Holy God almighty you're right... QUICK! GRAB A PIECE OF PAPER! DRAW SOMETHING Before this comment string get's forgotten in the depth of time.

Edit: In all honesty though I just saw this. Evolution always seems to find a way to null out the past which is very saddening at times. And it isn't just for games. Take a look at all types of stuff. Especially art. The so called "evolution" of music is nothing more than a constant changing of sound (for bettter and for worse) which can lead to people forgetting to remember the art that was originally inspiration. Sure there will always remain those fanbases of certain genres but a majority of them will find a cave where they can stay in and remain quiet until ultimately they become extinct.

A really amazing TV Channel that is somehow still existent is TCM. I am in no way a huge fan of very old movies but I do have massive respect for Ted Turner who took all of the old films and preserved them for future generations. And keep in mind that this is coming from a 16 year old kid who has grown up in the world of Mission Impossible, Transformers and some good ole 80's Schwarzenegger, and Stallone flicks.
