If your server was lagging and not even using 1GB of RAM on your 4GB RAM server, why would you think this is what's causing you to lag? I've been a customer of these guys for very long time, and I have had close zero problems with my server. They do not offer the best support, (as they state themselves) but when the server goes offline it's probably your fault. A re-install of a Minecraft server with Multicraft control panel is the easiest thing in the world.Quote from OmegaPulseOkay. I am just finally making a feedback post, and here's what I have to say about their hosting when I was a client:Lag: If you want a quality server, don't go for these guys. I had my server with about 3 people on at a time, and we would hit major lag spikes. I had even bought 4GB of memory, and still, I wasn't even using 1GB.Customer Service: H-o-r-r-i-b-l-e. I had stated that I was mad because they would charge me more for custom jars and that I would be switching hosts. It was 3 days after I had bought the service, and the day after I stated I would be switching hosts, my server wouldn't turn on. They said it was problem with a plugin, so I deleted all the plugins, still, the server would not launch up. They wouldn't help me or anything. If I had to rate them on a scale of 1-100 I would go with "Who cares I choose 0".Access: Accessing the server was easy, at least when it was working -.-In conclusion. I wouldn't ever go back here, even if the server was $1 for all the RAM, Bandwidth, and SSD. You can go ahead, believe everyone else, but I was lucky I had my money back guarantee. Because if I had waited until after 5 days, I would honesty gotten extremely mad.

Wall of text goes here ...
I have been with them more or less since they started up, and their services are fantastic. Aswell as 95% of all the reviews on this thread are positive. People need to be cautious of using this company, really Charles Dickens? I find your novel hard to believe, as I, and as it seems a lot of other people using this host have gotten our money refunded double when submitting a support ticket for a refund.
Dec 28, 2012TLande posted a message on Minecrafted.NET • $1.99/GB • 4-Year Anniversary!!! • SSD Powered • Multicraft Control PanelPosted in: Minecraft Server HostingI bought one of the $1 servers and think when I get more disposable income I will defiantly be coming back to minecrafted.net for a server.
Only thing, why is bukkit not supported for them, and could I pay to have bukkit added? (Craftbukkit so I can add plugins)
I would recommend this to anyone who likes to build things in creative and show them off to their friends while not having to email the world or put it on a flashdrive.
You can't really run BukkitCraft and plugins off a 256mb ram server, there is just not enough memory.
Though I've got to say that their hardware is extremely powerful. Even with the 1GB ram server, i was able run 15-20 plugins without so much as a touch of lag.

This is the worst host ever! Never waste your time with them no matter the prices!!!! First they do not answer any of your questions, second they lie about the SRV request and never give it to you! Third they wont even respond to any tickets! Fourth they wont give you access to a votifier port so that you can have votifier on your server, they ignore you! And lastly they dont give a crap about their customers!
I do find this a little hard to believe, as 9.5 out of 10 posts in this thread has been positive reviews. Minecrafted has been hosting my server almost since they started up, and I think this host is one of the best out there. They have answered every support ticket I've created, sometimes they take longer to respond, but most of the time I'm getting an answer within 10-15 minutes. As you state in your rage reply, they were slow on giving you an SRV record, which is very understandable. In my opinion it does take a while to setup an SRV record, and they don't earn anything from them. Are you really going to go this rage just because you did not get a free SRV record from Minecrafted that from what I can tell no other hosting company offers?
It could be that you are asking them questions that are already pointed out in their FAQ.? I remember I did a couple of times and thats when there was a delay in response time.
Anyways, besides from the fact that some support tickets regarding free services may take a little while, their Minecraft servers are the best I've ever seen. The performance is just so steady and smooth all the way, there is little to no down time at all.
Dec 8, 2012Hosting your minecraft server and MySQL server in two different places will cause one very big problem. Each of your plugins that need connection to a database, will cause some lag as they will have to wait to store info in the database and the other way around. Having your MC servers and your database in the same place will remove this latency problem.Posted in: Server Support and Administration

bought a 3 GB server and it took 6 FREAKING days to set-up! This is by FAR the WORST Host I HAVE EVER HAD! The prices are nice but....
I AM FURIOUS!
Customer Support: POOR 1 of 10 Took me 6 days for my server up! Email Atfer email! Ticket after Ticket! 6 Days!
Prices: Cheap & Good For what you are getting
Do not Support Custom Jars
Overall Rating 4 out of 10
This host is by far one of the worst hosts I have ever been with!
This was the funniest post of the day.
Anyways, I would probably feel let down in your position. Did you send them a support ticket?
As for the custom jar thing, I really love how they only allow Vanilla Minecraft And BukkitCraft. If everyone would go around uploading Tekkit to their servers, every server on that node would lose performance.

Heres my review:
Absolutely crap. I purchased a bigger server from them, that happened to slip through during the rush. They sent me an e mail to say sorry and that I'd get a free month. I have been waiting two weeks now and nothing has happened. I have submitted two support tickets over the past two weeks, but they have had no response. I will be looking for a refund, and a copy of all my files from my smaller server.
I definitely do not recommend
I don't get it, you purchased a bigger server? By that I assume that you had a server with them, and then wanted to upgrade? In that case it could be that the node you are on doesn't have any available ram.

BUYER BEWARE! This company is a scam. I purchased a server based entirely on (old) positive reviews here on Minecraftforum.net. Ordered on Saturday. Promised 24 hour response on their website, and from autoresponse emails. After 48 hours, sent several polite emails asking about status. After 5 days, Paypal transaction was refunded. No email reply to any of my inquiries, but they have time to post BS emails on this forum about how sorry they are. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service. I would NOT recommend this company. They may have been good in the past. Now you are just wasting your time and money. What they call "Lackluster performance" is an understatement.
You are challenged, seriously. Check back a few pages and you'll see how they setup over 100 servers in a day, and those waiting any longer than 24 hours got a month for free as a compensation. They've excused themselves for missing out on from what i can tell here on the forums 4-5 servers. As they said they've had problems with getting the automatic setup running.
But, I do understand your frustration. I mean, if i didn't get my server I would disappointed, however i would not go on their forum post and call out an LLC for being a complete scam, as you have no proof of this. My server has been hosted with these guys for a long time and i love their services.

Would it be possible for me to...
1) Make a server on my own computer, and then transfer the exact server/map over to your host?
2) Are you allowed to upgrade if needed, so this month could I have a 2gb one and next month upgrade to a 5gb one without any hassle?
Thanks I am looking forward to buying!
I'm not a representative of them, but as a customer i know that you'll have full FTP access which means you are free to upload whatever file you want (map, plugin, config files etc).
As for the upgrade question, I would believe that will be fine as long as the node you're on doesn't fill up between your purchase and your request to upgrade. Just to clarify, lets say a node (or a dedicated server) has 32GB RAM, and when you purchase your server it's 30GB RAM left, but as time passes and more customers get onto the node the amount of available RAM will eventually drop to 0, which is when it will be impossible to upgrade i guess.
Nov 9, 2012I cant see how to could blame mis-information on these guys, the fact that they don't support Tekkit is a pretty fronted point from them, both on their website and the original post. I mean you're basically charged nothing at all one of the Minecraft hosting industries very best Minecraft servers, so I wouldn't be so harsh.Posted in: Minecraft Server Hosting

I have been using this service for the past month with my little RP server. We have in general not experienced lag or downtime (using the $5 1gb ram plan) with a good 10 or so people on.
I would highly recommend this service if you want a vanilla or vanilla bukkit server. You don't have access to the craftbukkit.jar but again, for the price, and the exceptional service, It's well worth the money for a vanilla server.
Tickets are generally answered on the same day or the next day depending on the time you post then.
Just curious, why would need access to the craftbukkit.jar? I mean theres not much to be done in there unless you're good with java. You're free to upload any Bukkit plugin in the whole wide world to your server with these guys.

It lets you protect regions, prevent mob spawing, stop fire from spreading, diable creeper explosions, make No-PvP zones, restricted areas and lots more. You should read up it and get familiar with it, as its a great way of managing your server.
