Having some issues...
Install these into Forge, I can find the swords ingame in creative, but the textures are squares - purple and black. I'm not sure if this is an incompatibility issue because the only other mod I have installed is Optifine? And I know it's not my Forge, any other mod I install is fine.
Running on 1.6.2, help would be appreciated!

Download the file that says 1.6.2 + Forge instead.
Obviously, that's what I did.

I drop it into my mods folder but Forge doesn't detect it. Every other mod works fine though. I don't have any error codes to copy and paste as there is no crashing or errors. What gives?
Jul 8, 2013As someone who went from Battlefield on PS3 to PC... I never realized just how terrible it is on console until I played on PC. 24 players... *cringe* I could never touch it on console again, but considering that's your only choice then just buy it.Posted in: General Gaming
Of course, I have to say save up for a PS4. (It's basically too late to preorder now since preorders are basically sold out.) It will be a MILLION times better. That means you have plenty of time to save up the $500 needed for the game and console, (early 2014). Soooo, hold off on BF4 and wait till then. Because BF on last-gen console is a terrible experience, except BC2. That's what I recommend.
Jul 3, 2013Been a while since I've posted here.... But I've hard at work at making this world awesome! I'm going to be doing a let's play on the map.Posted in: Creative Mode
Here's an idea of what it'll be like:
To make it more medieval, here are some of the mods I will be utilizing:
Also an awesome soundtrack featuring Skyrim and hopefully LoTR!
It won't quite be a normal survival let's play, but close to it.

Nice Job! I really like it. But I think you should add a little bit of more detail on your castle!
I've put flags atop the castle that I haven't shown yet. But what other detail do you think I should add?
May 21, 2013Well guys, it's been a while since I updated this. I have a few new things to show off, other stuff I want to keep secret!Posted in: Creative Mode
First off, update for the Enchanted forest! Added a lot of large mushrooms. Any more ideas on what I can add to this area?
Psssst. There's a secret under the Enchanted Forest....
Next, I have a small(ish) village north up the main Castle Village. Windmill, graveyard, keeping it unique from the other villages.
And lastly, my favorite. A semi-replication of Lon Lon Ranch only because Horses are being added in 1.6! Expect to see the horses out there roaming the ranch once 1.6 comes...
That's what I've got for now. So far I'm loving the way the world is turning out! Hopefully I can release this to you guys and let all of you play it eventually! This will probably be my summer project, and possibly for much longer. There's more things I've done but don't want to show off... Evil layers, ancient structures, stuff for you guys to discover once it's public!
May 16, 2013TFnerd posted a message on A simple way on how to make everyone happy with LapisI like your idea but 4 lapis blocks for 1 chiseled is a little much... So I think you should get 4 (or at least 2) chiseled lapis blocks.Posted in: Suggestions

I like the castle, bridge, and most of the village, however the melon/pumkin table just don't seem to fit in. If your having a feast, its not likely that the food will be left out in the elements before the banquet. Maybe you could put a medieval restarante (if they had those) or just a building help primarily for banquets.
It's a market area, where all the food is for sale. I might add a little bit more variety to that area.

You should build an alchemist's shack! It would have something to hold potions, skulls, trapped monsters, and a big cauldron!
I love your idea! I'll definitely be doing that!!!
Little update on the world. The town is pretty much (95%) done. Here's a pic:
And to add more atmosphere to the outside world/countryside I made a village!
Not supposed to be anything too special, just a small village.
