But seriously, this thread was meant for the 1.2.5 version of the Direwolf20 pack, when you had to MANUALLY install it (before the FTB launcher). The support for the latest Direwolf20 pack can be found on the FTB forums, where staff can help you there. And I propose an admin to close this thread before anyone else can bump it again for a future update of the Direwolf20 modpack.
Quick question, is it possible to use other mod's potion effects (e.g. I want to make my awesome axe to make the hit entity get Bleeding damage from the Camping Mod) or remove specific effects (e.g. Oh no! A zombie stole my awesome axe and now I'm bleeding! Luckily I have a gauze bandage that can cure bleeding specifically!) Also, is it possible to make one use only items that are consumed on right click, even with a full hunger bar?
What if Insomnia could be caused rarely by overdosing? And near or far sightedness was a random (re)spawn condition, that can be 'helped but not treated' by wearing glasses in the helmet slot? (Btw glasses would be indestructible so you could go into combat wearing them like Gordon Freeman and you will never break them! But they don't protect you at all. Also, to prevent (re)spawn diseases being exploited by suicide at spawn, dying one minute after you spawn keeps any diseases you had before.)
BTW, my opinion on adding Ebola? Add it, but be educational about it as well as entertaining. We REALLY don't need more public misconceptions about a very real and very dangerous disease.
I'd just have them go insane after a while when it can't attack you, then whatever it comes across next (no matter what it is, zombies, hounds and players alike) will get attacked.

I have an idea: What if musket bullets (for crafting) were only available from villagers? Would give them a use AND a reason to keep them. Massacring a village means you could have just lost an ammunition supply.
Why should furnaces be multiblock structures? Making a very specific schematic a mandatory requirement for what should be a simplistic expansion mod is not only inconsistent with the idea behind the vanilla furnace, it adds unnecessary complexity for what should otherwise be a basic mechanic (that is, smelting items).
Now on the other hand, if this multiblock furnace idea were an optional addition, then perhaps it could work, although I myself would prefer leaving that job in the hands of plugin developers.
Any seeds for 1.6/7? This has got to be the only good Millenaire seed page around, and I'm having trouble finding a Hindi village...
The seed 'b' still works. It gives you a nice Byzantine village near spawn. All the posted seeds claiming to have Hindi villages didn't work for me (pretty obviously, since I use 1.7.2).
EDIT: I guess Millenaire 5.2 had issues with Hindi villages, because I've updated to 5.3 and they now spawn. I'm currently seed-scouring for Byzantine, Japanese, and Mayan villages, especially groups of them.
I have an idea: What if the metal furnaces became multiblocks, and what ever metal you build it out of (except the furnace core) would boost efficiency more than a basic furnace? And slapping a forge to the side made that multiblock smelt using lava instead?

The forge is basically a lava powered furnace. Put a bucket of lava in it, and it'll smelt like a normal furnace.
