Tech of Tommorow Reports the AMD 14.2 Beta Catalyst Drivers are compatible with Minecraft and that the missing texture issue is fixed.
I will test this myself after the post.
Edit: It works! No hotfix needed for now. I also have to recheck my java to see if I did a full install or if I'm still on the hotfix without knowing it.

I've installed the vibrant shaders with no problems, but when I open a world, I'm greeted with:
I get waving leaves, grass and water, but nothing else. I'm running Windows 8 on an Intel Core i5 processor.
Am I doing something wrong?
The errors you get are most likely because of your hardware specs. Although you haven't told me your GPU, I can tell that most Intel GPUs receive many errors and do not have any good fixes.
But I still need the name of your GPU. Try running the basic shaders as well.

Though a good suggestion, Dell has hamstringed me here by modifying the 6990M in their Alienware units to allow for switching between integrated and discrete graphics chips. I've never found a driver on the AMD website that works with my laptop because of this. Many of the drivers (both beta and released) even say in the fine text that they don't support switchable graphics and thus my Alienware is excluded because of that. I apologize for not mentioning this sooner.
Have you ran AMD's driver verification tool to confirm that there's absolutely no solution to this?
By switching graphics chips, do you mean switching between using Intel graphics and AMD graphics or physical switching (removing graphics chips and replacing)?
On a side note, I have an AMD Radeon 7970 desktop version, I've experienced AMD driver crashes during random times for no reasons, but that error has not appeared at all in the recent 2014 year. I've also never heard of switchable graphics being incompatible with drivers because Nvidia notebook graphics seem to have that option and those graphics chips can work with the latest drivers.
So I would like to ask you the specific name/version of the driver you are using and also if you have tried other shaderpacks.

No, it's actually harder for me. And also yep, but installing this with forge and optifine.... NOT THE EASIEST THING TO DO. XD
I assume you haven't been installing mods since Minecraft 1.0.0. I've been running 30+ mods using the traditional method since 1.0.0 and stopped doing that at 1.3.
Let me tell you, today's installation methods are stupid easy compared to the way I used to install mods.
To install forge and optifine for 1.7...
Download forge for 1.7, either get the latest or recommended (It's been tested on the recommended).
Get the Optifine version.
When you download forge, click in the jar twice and it should pop up a window saying install with a few other things.
Press ok once the install finishes and open up your MC launcher.
Change the profile to Forge.
Run the game once and exit.
Now go to your /mods folder in /.minecraft
A quick way to do this is to type %APPDATA%, click on Roaming, then .minecraft, then mods.
Drag and drop the Optifine that's for 1.7.2 (not 1.7.4) and put it in the mods folder.
Open up Minecraft Launcher and run, then enjoy.
The traditional method consists of much more complicated steps where you open up the minecraft jar and drag and drop files within zip folders. You will need to delete META-INF along with applying patches. If the mod install fails, you have to delete your .minecraft jar and then restart the process in a bad way. Every crash means you start over. You sometimes have to delete the .minecraft, and lose anything that wasn't backed up properly.

sorry i will use Celsius from now on. so is this a normal temperature for using this or is it to hot?
No, 51 degrees Celsius is AMAZING.
Just make sure your card doesn't go above 80 degrees. The only game I've seen that's taken my card to such high temperatures was Far Cry 3 :Blood Dragon with it's filters.

PCs are made for gaming, they have support for everything. And sure, games do work on macs, I can play games on my 10-year old PC as well, does that make it good? I am not trying to say which one I prefer but I do say that PCs are the best computers for gaming, nothing more to say about it. Sounds like you have a lot of experience in computers so I would've thought you would agree with me that PC's are the better, and this shader is not made for Macs. There has been tons of people asking why it won't work and every time people reply with "Macs are not supported".
Also, the GPUs on most makes are Intel Graphics. I believe the OS X Mavericks enabled OpenGL 3/4 but that didn't fix anything.
I heard someone say that SEUS had many effects using OpenGL 3/4 features (I would assume volumetric clouds is one).
I've also heard that a mac with Nvidia graphics and CUSTOM (not Apple) drivers work with some shaders.

I'm lagging with this mod and for example with Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders
Is there someone who can give me like the best settings for me ?
This is what i use:
I'd tried to set the memory in magic launcer to 350, 512, 1024, 10240, 20480
Also set the settings in MC itself to minimum
Tried to run without or different Optifine packs.
Changed the line 47 in the composite file of the shaderpack
Use other shaders packs
But here's the weird part if i play without a shaderpack i can use all settings on the highest settings and render to the max without lagging.
Anyway here are my CPU specs:
- -CPU: Intel Quadcore i7-3820 3.6ghz/Turbo 4ghz 10Mb
- -VGA: ATi radeon HD5450-1Gb VGA/DVi/HDMi (dual screen)
- -Power: Ultra Silence 620W Realpower 80+
- -HDD: Sata3 Toshiba 2TB (2000Gb) 64Mb 7200rpm harddisk
- -RAM: Kingston 64Gb DDR3 1600mhz (8x8Gb Quad channel)
- -Motherboard: Asus Full-ATX P9X79
So if anyone can tell me what to do :/
What's your FPS?
An ATI Radeon 5450 is really old, as well as weak.
The 6000/7000 series of radeons had numbers like 7850 (minimum for good fps on certain shaderpacks) and 6770 and ect.
My APU is a 7560d, and that's integrated and gets my 15 FPS max on a windowed screen.

Specs and OS?

After doing a few edits, i have gotten SEUS to look really good with minimal frame dropage. I get around 45 fps with my GTX 770. There is only one downside to using the shader. When I use it, my graphics card gets really warms. It gets heated up to like 125 degrees F! i don't know if it is just my graphics card that is the problem or if other people are having the same problem.
The volumetric clouds still look pixelated but that won't change until there is a new version that fixes it. Other then this stuff, i think that it looks really good! The shadows look awesome, the water reflection looks really good when using my texture pack (Sphax 64x), and the ambient light level and night time level are good. Another thing that would be cool to add to this shader would be to have shadows that outlines the edge if things like blocks and building like in V4 shader packs.
Also if you want to get SEUS to look good like i did, you can go to Wupkong's post on page 972. He gives some good information about fixing it and there are some good performance tips as well.
Please refrain from mentioning temperatures in Fahrenheit. You are the first person in the PC world to ever us Fahrenheit. I'm living in the US and using Fahrenheit for my air conditioning and ect, but us Celsius in PC temperatures.
Your 125 degrees F means 51 degrees in Celsius, which is amazing. You see, the maximum temperature for a GPU should be about 80-90 degrees in Celsius. For a CPU, it should be somewhere about 50-60 or so because Intel CPUs can handle more heat while AMD CPUs should be kept cooler. But seriously, boiling temperature is 212 Fahrenheit, while it's 100 degrees Celsius, so temperatures are EASIER to monitor and express as well.

Integrated Graphics is your problem. Your computer just can't handle it. You won't be able to run shaders on a non-gaming laptop
The basic shaders made for integrated graphics won't work either. I can show you proof that intergrated graphics work, just let me start up my other system with the Radeon 7560d intergrated graphics. But he might either have an installation/OS problem or his hardware has some weird driver/compatibility issue.

I am having some problems with the vivid shaders. Whenever I select any of them the game proceeds to crash/freeze such that I have to ctrl+alt+dlt my way out of the program and into the task manager where it claims that Java (Minecraft) is no longer responding. The freeze only occurs while in game and is usually so quick that I cannot even press the done button.
I use Forge release 1.7.2-Forge10.12.0.1024 and the most recent version of the GLSL shader mod.
My Setup is an Alienware M17xR3
Windows 8.1 Pro
AMD radeon hd 6990M which I've upgraded to the most recent drivers available from dell.
Edit: After trying out the troubleshooting methods mentioned by karyonix on the GLSL forum page I found that my AMD driver is actually being crashed when the shaders attempt to load. Though the development panel shows that everything validates successfully.
Go to AMD.com and find the 13.11 beta drivers, or you can download the latest 14.1, but for 14.1 driver version for AMD, you must apply the hotfix I'll link below or else your world will be invisible.
Here's the hotfix.

The name of the mod is Lagless Shaders, but like every other shader, it drops down below 10 FPS.
That's your system's fault. This shader has the least lag of all the other non-basic shaderpacks.
He has an Intel G41, which existed when Windows 98/XP came out, and it's running at 30 FPS for him.
I assume you have a laptop that is for watching videos and surfing the internet, nothing else, which explains the lag.

I seem to be having an issue with this mod. I'm running minecraft 1.6.4 and all I have installed is forge, optifine ultra, and shaders mod core. How do I fix this?
edit: anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing are turned off in optifine, so it's not that.
System specs and OS?
Feb 26, 2014That's the shader mod's fault. I'm not sure if it was ever fixed in version 2.3.9Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Feb 25, 2014Actually, the error can happen on AMD mobility GPUs. At first, I thought it was macs as well.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
There's always that windows 8.1 user with AMD graphics that get the error with the multiple screens in the corner. The only difference is that those screens are slightly dulled, but still have color in them.
P.S. Do not expect any support for macs.
SEUS is to advanced to be running off the mac OS's OpenGL capabilities. (Your OS X Maverick ain't going to help either).

Anyone know how to fix this?.
If you have an AMD GPU, update to 13.11 beta drivers or get 14.1 beta drivers and apply this fix.

Hi, I'm using 1.6.4 and using the vibrant shaders 1.0.1. But when I log in to the game this happens o.O also I am using the Resonant Rise mod pack but no optifine.
My Specs are
Intel core i5-3570K
Nvidia Geforce 670 series
8gb of ram
and 64 bit operating system
Try it without the mod pack?

I was wondering if you could help my figure out what is going wrong with my Shaders. I installed everything the way that I was told to and this is a screen shot of what it does after everything.
What's your OS and system specs?
Intel GPUs (not processors) are incompatible with this mod as well as Mac OS's.

Sorry, this is a bit off topic, I just thought I'd drop in and congratulate the devs for their amazing work!
Your ASM is quite minimalistic, and did a fantastic job loading, so much so, that MY mod (which by no means is as graceful as yours) was also able to load!
Long story short, I was able to cram the colored light core along with the 1.6.4 shader core.
Screenshots are using SEUS
*Minor differences in the color of lava, fire, and torches!
*Bugs are still present, and we are also fixing a couple of color curves... *shakes fist at blue*
Keep being awesome!
Wow, great job with the colored cubes.
