There's no real bump mapping texture packs for 1.7. I'm not even sure how Karyonix tested the feature.
Oh, and I believe Chroma Hills has a lot of POM textures, which were for 1.5.2.
I need both of your specs.
Also, dipdip, since you said because of the PC you have, I assume your PC is too low-powered to take a screenshot...
You won't get far with anything if your PC can't even take a screenshot.
In my opinion, it's going to skip 1.6.4.
We don't know the progress of this mod, but we can obviously see the mod creator is still alive and has the
presence footsteps mod updated (fancy footstep sounds).
Also, if it matters, I tried the previous version and it got really weird. The trees started moving. Like swaying in the breeze. Here's a picture I took. http://imgur.com/ZgvA6e9 You can't really see it, but they were moving. Creepy.
The intel graphics are not compatible with shaders, sorry,
so I installed everything correctly and it works.. but I'm getting 3 fps max. is there a way to fix this? I would really like to use this practically in game but it's just so crippling...
Ok I must be doing something really wrong, Its still not working. I have tried with both the 10.0 ultra no blur and the 10.1 preview and I have tried to just put the zip in the shaderpacks folder and I've tried to extract them into a shaders folder in the shaderpacks folder. Neither of them are working. My folder is named "shaderpacks" and is located in my .minecraft directory and I am using forge 965 for minecraft 1.6.4. I cannot see where I am going wrong but still the option to turn on the shaderpack is not on any menu anywhere in the game. It also doesn't show up in the in game mods list. Have I made a huge mistake somewhere?
Make sure you installed the shaders mod correctly.
The format for shaderpacks is .minecraft/shaderpacks/SEUS zip file
http://imgur.com/rwIlslL
Many others have had the same problem, but so far i havent been able to find a solution.
Anyone have a fix?
I've used other shader packs successfully, but for some reason SEUS wont work.
Please help me out!
I've installed forge, glsl shader ,optifine, seus shader correctly and using the lastest version for the 1.7.2 but when i load the shader the screen goes white like on this pic below:
What's wrong excactly?
i've also tried to run the Minecraft using forge only profile but it got the same result
If you have Nvidia, downgrade your drivers to 306.
pic: http://imgur.com/YHa9Bj5
does anyone have any idea what's causing this? It only happens during the day, I didn't touch anything just dropped the files into the folder and started my game. I have Minecraft Forge installed, not FML.
If you have an Nvidia GPU, downgrade your drivers to version 306.
It does it with every shader pack and i kinda did drop the zip file in there
im using forge version 10.12.0.1021
the GSLS shaders version is v2.3.3 beta.
Here you go: http://pastebin.com/Qzv4dXUZ
I could try with optifine; however, disabling the integrated Intel device prevents my computer from recognizing my second monitor...
(As you can see in the paste, I actually have 8GB RAM, no need to worry about that.)
Hmm, this is weird, because an Intel 4000 shouldn't get this error. Try optifine and see what happens.
As with your system specs, the only devices I see are Intel 4000's, but I see two of them.
The only shaderpacks I recommend for the Intel 4000's, because they have low-performance and drivers that lack support for many of feature in SEUS (Like volumetric clouds) are...
The basic version of Sildur's shaders http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1953873-164-sildurs-shaders-pcmacintel/
Paolo's lagless shaders because he gets 25-30 FPS on a GPU that's older and weaker than yours.
And finally, the v4 beta versions of Chocapic's shaders, which you can find low versions of. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9na9ex1vchscf/WIP_shaders
I still recommend you try other shaderpacks just to see how it goes if your problem is fixed with Optifine.
If Optifine doesn't fix it, then I may have one more, but it's really old and was used for the old launcher (which from my understanding of inputing java arguments, is no issue).
Anyone else have this bug? I log into my world, then try to turn on SEUS 10.1. Then almost my entire screen turns black, and I am left with multiple small screens with what looks like inverted colors in the bottom left corner of my screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm using v10.0 Ultra no blur on 1.6.4 (forge 965) and I have installed it correctly, to the best of my knowledge, but when I run minecraft I can't find any option to turn it on. Is this version compatible with minecraft 1.6.4? I cant tell which versions, either latest or legacy are for 1.6.4. Any help will be appreciated.
You have to go to the options menu, and the shader menu should be near video settings.
Hi, Sildur, sorry if you answered this somewhere before but google only turned up one, unanswered post in this thread with the same problem, soooo
Anyway, I just installed you shaders tonight, but if my crosshairs even go anywhere near a light source, white diagonal lines will run across the entire window like this:
I am using your latest Pre9 Vibrant shaders on a 2011 MacBook Pro, running Mac OS 10.8.5 with 8GB ram and an AMD Radeon HD 6940M. Any help removing these lines would be greatly appreciated.
Hmm... I believe that may be an artifact. This error showed up somwhere near page 10 if my memory is still there.
Anyways, your Mac OS does not provide proper drivers for AMD to perform correctly.
If you could, try to find custom drivers that are not apple's, which isn't really possible these days since Macs don't come with AMD notebook graphics.
I suppose downgrading may be worth a shot. My specs are in the crash log I had posted earlier (Not sure of them exactly- that's your best source). Pretty sure all that info is in there, too.
Uh, I only got the processor from that. Anyways, for your GPU, you would have to type DXDIAG in your windows search, click the display tab, and tell me the device name.
The error you are getting is "Pixel format not accelerated," which is weird because that happens when you can't play vanilla minecraft. My cousin's laptop (some old satellite laptop) had this error. I believe Optifine could fix it as Optifine ran it with OpenGL off, So if you can run Minecraft normally on this same laptop, then I might need your GPU specs.
Also, you have 214 MB of ram? My adult brother's RAM stick when he was a kid (about 10-11 years ago) had 256 MB. Today's low-end RAM is about 4 GB for many notebooks. (Maybe 2 GB for them tablets).
I am not an english native speaker, so I made a mistake, I meant performance-consuming. Using volumetric clouds with a proper render settings in order to avoid the "pixel-effect" on the clouds lead to a fps drop to something like 10-15 fps... I will try your tweak about nvidia pilot when I'll be home...
Yes, try that tweak if you have an Nvidia card. The clouds generally get a giant FPS drop when you try to remove the pixel effect with the render res multiplier. The tweak is apparently suppose to help by applying blur effects and such.
Why won't Minecraft Shaders mod work for me? I got the mod in the mods folder and it works when I open it but when ever I tried to click on a world or make a new world it just closes and goes back to the main screen where you push play. I tried it with 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 any suggestions on how to fix this?
I have volumetric clouds on, plus motion-blur, plus tornadoes, higher-res shadow map, soft shadows, better grass and leaves, and the leaves that blow in the wind from the weather and tornadoes mod.
I'm rocking a GTX 660 with FXAA enabled and I still get playable performance.
If I can do it, so can you! I would love to see your scenes with some nice clouds!
You read it wrong. He said power-consuming, not performance-consuming.
Hmm. Many shaderpacks are not well optimized for the Nvidia 327 drivers. I believe you could try to downgrade to version 306, which is what the shaderpack maker is using, or you could apply these modifications to the v10.1 shaderpack that people have tested using the latest Nvidia drivers. May I also have your specs, shadermod version, forge version, and any other mods? (Just to see for any more specific issues, though I highly doubt other mods would cause a LWJGL error).
These modifications also bring on visual enhancements and apparently performance boosts. The modifications just give you an idea of what you should do. I use notepad++ to edit these shaderpacks because regular notepad will not do this correctly. http://sonicether.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=140&sid=d0baed1e40684e99d7dfcb07cc0b16f4

What are your specs?
I assume so, lol.

Find a way to disable your intel graphics.
Make sure you installed the shaders mod correctly.
The format for shaderpacks is .minecraft/shaderpacks/SEUS zip file
What are your specs?

Actually, the newest version of shadermod is compatible without a patch.
I'm pretty sure network errors shouldn't be related to the shaders mod.
The error mentioned a proxy and a few network things.
If you have Nvidia, downgrade your drivers to 306.

It doesn't look very nice combined with the effects of the shaderpack.
If you have an Nvidia GPU, downgrade your drivers to version 306.

Type DXDIAG, and show me screenshots of the first page and then the display page.

Do you have intel graphics, a mac, or both?
Please, tell me your specs, folks.
Downgrade your drivers to 306 or any version below 327 if you have an Nvidia card.
Drag the SEUS v10.1 in there without extracting it.

Awesome, keep up the good work!

I believe you turn lens flare off.
It's either in final.fsh or composite.fsh

Go to your v10.1 shaderpack, go to Gbuffers_terrain.vsh.
Go to line 45, and remove the two slashes in that line.
Use notepad++

Try using forge 1019.
It's not an installer. Read the install directions or watch a 1.7 install vid if you are using 1.7.

You read it wrong. He said power-consuming, not performance-consuming.
That depends on the processor you are using. Shaders mod depends more on the GPU, or graphics processing unit.
