Can I ask you a question? How do you make the greyscale textures for gras_top, or leaves?
Well, you would make it in colour first get it to look right, then you desaturate the colour out of it so its black and white (greyscale) then play with the brightness/contrast to get it to match well in game
There is honestly only one thing in this texture pack that I actually feel is missing. That is the animation for flowing lava. Not sure if it's in there or you just haven't gotten around to it, but that is literally the only thing I feel is missing. Other than that, like I said, keep up the good work. Best texture pack there is.

SPIDER ISSUE Copy this file into your Mob folder to stop the white error with the spiders, i have also updated the packs with this texture if you don't know how. (there's still a small issue because of how i did the spider textures) but its 98% better. Better still, install Optifine as it give all sorts of enhancements!
Been on the nether brick today folks, got rid on the pinky recoloured old/new cobble and gave it a 3 brick high rugged darker style....which can only mean i'm sorting the Nether out, quartz ore, rack etc
Is that one of his development packs? which one? im using k25 right now but it doesnt like your custom skybox for some reason
Its a work in progress unreleased version that is broken in quite a few places but working in others that Sonic is playing with Oh and the Sky in this version looks amazing, it blends so well you can't see its a box!! (will grab a piccy)
Spider issue here, I'm using the MCpatcher, the other skins like for the creepers with multiple different textures works just fine.

Wow, this pack is amazing. At first, I thought it would simply be like a cross between Sphax and Gerodoku, but now, I see that it is so much more. The custom sky is amazing, but the sheep kinda scare me slightly .

Im not sure if its your latest 128 shader texture pack or if its the shader itself... but when i wanted to start a fresh skyblock using CH the chest was 'waving' like the leaves of the tree.
Edit: also any chance you can adjust the inventory version for iron & gold... being slightly color blind its very hard to quickly make out which is which without having to mouse-over the items all the time.
Ah get that bug sometimes where parts of the world move like trees, its not the pack its the shaders
Well I play on small +16 or around that, so the render distance thing shouldn't be too much of a difference for me if I have it too. I'm just wondering how much the shaders will bring my FPS down...
Best thing is to just try them and see what happens, you will soon know if you can run them
Also I'm pretty much... disappointed in my artistic abilities and might put my texture pack project on hold until I actually can paint things. Also I'm officially jealous of you.

Not sure if my post will get noticed way back here. Just a few things I wanted to point out, as support.. sorry if I sound like I'm nit-picking, because I'm not, be sure of that.
Spiders for some reason ALL come out as a solid white color. They worked at one point, but then they just stopped.
Nether quartz don't have a texture. They don't use the original.. it's just a blank box. You can't even tell you have them unless you try to put something over them. Just a heads up.
Other than that, this texure pack is the most amazing I've ever seen. It doesnt dive so far off the deep end that you forget that you're playing minecraft, yet adds this gorgeous and amazing feel. Using this for good, I doubt I'll ever see anything that fits my style so well. Props to you. You will be seeing a donation coming from me as soon as I'm not so poor lol.

I use vanilla Minecraft and have the same issue. The spiders are white. It looks like they get overlayed by a white texture. Maybe the eye texture isn't transparent? I use the CH 1.0.2 noshad.
YES if you dont use Optifine/mcp the spidereyes texture causes a white error on the whole spider!!
I'm working on a fix so the texture shows correctly, its been discussed before on the forums i should of realized
I was trying out using the stone brick and stone slabs earlier... But I can't make it look right xD.

A rather colourful piccy folks with the new SEUS lighting sonic is working on and the glowstone glow effect........ all work in progress but i much prefer how he has softened the lighting and shadows for a pleasing look
Oh my goodness that's amazing o.o shame the plots on the server I'm on aren't big enough for that xD. Maybe I'll locate a different creative server that isn't pro level, or play on the laggy singleplayer xD. I wonder why my singleplayer lags worse than my multiplayer, even with just optifine on and on fairly low settings, when I have really slow internet and a decent computer? *facepalms* Oh well lol. I can get up to 130 FPS on multiplayer, but on singleplayer, while I haven't actually pressed F3 yet to look, I seem to get up to about 30 FPS at maximum, and mostly around something like 5 FPS, which isn't good when you are trying to play singleplayer skyblock, which is hard enough as it is xD.

Right guys, i was meant to swap the quartz top tile over before i updated as we all know the black/white tiled look doesn't work well in game!
I've just done another one and have updated both 128x packs so if you aren't sure about editing packs you can just download it again or if you want to take the texture and drop it in your pack here you go As a rule i don't put textures on the net unless with the pack.
No shader 128x Shader version 128x (remove the SEUS part of the filename before you copy it over)
Great texture pack! personalty its one of my favorites. just a recommending that you add an aether mod patch for the pack. I would love to see your textures for that.
I have castle pictures! It looks like my lag caused some of the blocks to un-place themselves though... oh well. (and how do I do spoilers? D:)
Only the castle is mine, the rest are buildings by other people xD. although the castle faces another plot I claimed that is separated by one plot from my castle plot, but my second plot never comes into view in these xD. and wow, I really really need a spoiler there. Someone tell me how please xD.

I just read the whole thread through from page 1 to 95 and figured, I prefer the original nether rack by quite a way. If you do not want to revert back, could i have the block png file so I can use for personal use? I go to the nether a lot D:

Just took a quick look at 3DS Max and it's quite far out of my budget... Too bad there's no lite edition which would certainly have enough features for me, only a 30 day demo. Guess I'll stick to Blender.
Yeah Max is a High end package, there's plenty others that will give you the same result

This version isn't released yet, its just a test that Sonic showed me using his latest shader build. You may find some un official versions going around, i've seen one I gave no permission to make as its TERRIBLE so best to wait till we get the SEUS endorsed proper version up and running. The textures for this special version will look very plain compared the usual detail level I put in Chroma Hills as it uses special tricks to add detail to my textures and give depth/shine etc
Did you create the block previews with Blender/Cinema4D and rendered them, or just Photoshop?

Right another Syclone muck up. I broke the CTM on the quartz pillars on the SHADER version only. Either download again or just open the zip file and open the CTM/Random/Quartz pillars/ open the properties file and paste this in there. Click save, say YES to the update prompt......job done.

Here's my new glass, i didn't get it working how i wanted, but i realized the overlapping glass is less noticable than i thought it would be.
There are 2 options for blending mode, i can go with one or the other...
Overlay, which basically just uses the glass as a tint:
This is the more transparent option as you can see.
And alpha, which uses a semi-transparent solid layer. The amount of transparency can easily be controlled to make it more or less visible.
So, which one is better?
Second for me by a long shot, I doubt they have many window cleaners in a place like that!
