    I hate when people automatically assume a mod is dead. Lycaon has been doing his best to update the mod. It doesn't help when the mod this is an addon to has been updating fairly regularly recently with major changes to how some of the basic things work; but also, Lycaon, if you check back even just a few pages, is well known to have several physical issues that make it difficult for him to code for long periods of time, along with coding for a job, which combined with said issues, can really make it difficult to do anything mod related whatsoever.

    I understand being impatient and worried, but I really hate when someone declares a mod dead with no credible basis other than the author hasn't been active on the forums. God knows, if it weren't for certain mods, I wouldn't be on here myself simply because of some of the extremely self-entitled brats who wander these topics. Modding is tough, and being pessimistic about a mod doesn't help the author want to continue.

    Wait a minute. "I expect this is a dead mod."
    Last time I checked, I expect and I declare are two VERY different things.
    Now, I never said it is dead, I said I think it might be.
    A (fairly) good reason for which I think this is that, to be aware of the fact that thaumcraft has "been updating fairly recently," Lycaon would have had to have been on the website, meaning that his profile would have updated to "Last seen / Last Active : After nov. whatever". However, since he has not been on the forums for such a long time, that gives me the thought that it might be a possibility that the mod may be dead.

    Tl;dr: I do have some reasoning as to why I think so, but again I only think so. I never said it is, so calm the heck down.

    P.S.: I've been playing this game since alpha, I know to be patient for mod updates lol. Also, since I code myself, I know modding is tough. So rather than hinting at calling me an "extremely self-entitled brat," you may want to ask for somebody's reasoning before going on some useless rant "with no credible basis."

    With all that said, I don't want to start a feud, so if you find parts of this comment insulting, p.m. me and I will remove them. Just try to listen to your own advice.

    I mean once it's stable it stops doing it, it just doesn't stabilise easily!
    Also, the author hasn't been on since Nov 2014, so I expect this is a dead mod :(

    gonna try un energizing it tomreoh and see about lowing it aspects a tiny bit with the nbtediter ...unless theres some over way to shrink a aura node

    ...using it to recharge wands and stuff wile its in a jar work? (non of use really know how to use the nbt editer so trying to save it as a last resorte)

    2 things;
    1- I know this isn't english class, but reading your comment was not a fun affair... Maybe at least attempt to watch your spelling next time?
    2- Anyways, onto the relevant thing; You could have turned it into a tainted node or w/e it's called before attempting to energise it, as that removes the "hungry" from it.

    If you're talking about getting banned last night, I thought I got you unbanned o.O (By talking to one of the mods and getting them to realise you're not the thief)
    Whatever, it's too late for you now... Calling mods stupid and telling the owner of the server he trusts the wrong people is NOT going to get you a place back on the server.

    P.S. If you had just waited a bit more instead of going on a sissy fit, you would probably have been un-banned, because the thief got caught red handed and is banned.
