Thanks for messaging me about updating the map, I didn't reply to the PM because i've long since forgotten how this website works, but I will make an effort to check out the updated map when I get some time

Jul 21, 2014Sutoraika posted a message on Super Massive Tech - Harness the power of the stars!Hey Tterrag, loving the idea of the mod, has a nice change of direction to most other tech mods which is very refreshing,Posted in: WIP Mods
i'm not sure heres the best place to say but i've noticed a few bugs, are "supernovas" implimented yet? vented (currently haven't got any mods installed that use power) a white dwarf star completely and got no pretty explosion :c - similarly wondering if there might be the possibility of an (configurable?) option for if an explosion destroys the harvester it causes a supernova?
Got some funky particle weirdness near water while venting; like such, http://i.imgur.com/YCdMgwG.png not sure if thats just how the game handles transparency though, so unsure if theres anything that can be done about it.
Also; i'm loving the waypoints, so pretty and functional, the incorporation with hud was a really clever idea.

Yea I fixed this in the Beta builds. I'm up to build 54 as of today. The main link on the front page is just the most recently stable version. I make builds about every 2 days to resolve issues and tweak things.
Oh excellent, silly me, didn't notice a beta build, sorry for the hassle then

What version are you using because I think I already fixed this indirectly. Even if it isn't fixed this would be quite a difficult and complex event to predict.
Currently using 49, which i believe is the most up to date?
if it isn't a simple fix don't worry about it; its difficult to gauge how complex things are as a non modder , its only a minor inconvenience really and relogging seems to fix it,
Jun 10, 2014Sutoraika posted a message on EnviroMine (DISCONTINUED) - A little bit of realism New physics, Temperature, Hydration and more!hey funaway, just started messing around with your mod with ichuns sync installed, and it seems when you die and "resync" to another shell, it gives a "no environment data" message on the readoutPosted in: Minecraft Mods, I don't know if you are already aware of that as a thing (and im not sure if here is the best place to put it) but near as i can tell, would a key that recalculates environment data be able to be a thing, or is it a bit more complex an issue than that?
May 5, 2014its taken us a good 5 months, but i've finally uploaded the whole lets play series *phew*Posted in: Maps
here it is in all its glory if you want to check it out!
puzzle was SO hard but in hindsight, we really loved it. i'm also gonna eventually force my cohort to play the complex, seeing as he missed out when i last played it
Apr 18, 2014Hey Spitefulfox, I know you probably don't like feature suggestions/requests on the thread but is there any way that the chameleon tools might be able to have a different name per state? I'm unsure how achievable that is or even if its been suggested before, but I figured i'd throw it out there, loving playing with your addon, just wish i'd discovered it sooner hahaPosted in: Minecraft Mods
Mar 2, 2014more episodes we tackle the Arena BranchPosted in: Maps
and then struggle through Survival;
finding the hidden god tools helped a bunch but it still took us forever to beat survival, I think if we went back to it and tried it now we'd get a much faster clear time.

Jan 11, 2014uploaded our attempt at the labyrinth, this time we did actually cheat the first section under the guise of it being a game mechanic, but despite how much we disliked the idea of doing a labyrinth, you made a good one, and we enjoyed it, it wasn't just hours of searching for levers like the standard, the change of scenery made it that much more enjoyable.Posted in: Maps

Oct 19, 2013The thing I love so much about this game is that i've played each of the aspects you've defined, and loved them "most" for a period of time.Posted in: News
When I started minecraft it was purely creative mode, and with very limited multiplayer; small group of friends and a huge build world that kept us busy for hours.
Then survival test was released and I fell in love again, as a fan of survival horror games and horror films in general; the fear that comes with being snuck up on made me enjoy the experience. Survive, fortify, repeat.
But then after a few months, I got bored. Started playing on the rather huge scale (between hundreds and thousands of player) pvp servers and got served every game but enjoyed the competition, got better and kept trying. Still not good at pvp. Slunk back into survival mode on a small server and made a bunch of good friends; moved on again.
I "ran out" of things to do. A friend mentioned Tekkit to me and figured we should give it a try; Modded minecraft adds such an extra depth to the game that is almost limitless. Bored of specific things? add an overhaul mod.
Modded remains my most played aspect of the game, it allows me to refresh my experience very easily, but thats liable to change again with the new additions to the game.
What was initially going to be a short answer has turned into a rambled essay with poor structure (I didn't do great in English class, sue me.) but i'm going to leave it.
I do however feel that the best aspect of minecraft is its community and the diversity among us and the acceptance between the fair majority of us that these other groups of players exist. Theres no "Right" way to play the game; and everyone knows it.
