Jun 7, 2014Wow, everything Works! I haven't tried to mess around with it for compatibility with other mods (like thaumcraft or others that add world generation structures) but I guess I'll doodle around for that sometime later today and report back if I run into any errors.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
So far, this addon works with that other Galacticraft2 addon called 4Space by Mattparks. Thanks for this! Galactricraft don't feel so lonely anymore!
Just popped this mod and its addons into a testing modpack that is packed with over 140 mods to see what happens. Well, not literally 140 mods. That is just what Minecraft Forge says is loaded. Anyway, after manually fixing ID's and sniffing out many other conflicts I can safely say everything is "stable" to play around with. My guess is that this addon and its addon's work very well with other mods that play nice with Galacticraft.
The big babies in this testing pack are:
MapleTree mod (A japanese mod by Ecru)
Ars Magica 2
Gany's Mods (surface, end, and nether)
Modular Forcefield System
Galacticraft and other Addons
Chicken Bones Wireless Redstone
Touhou Item's Mod
MrCrayfish's furniture mod

I can't wait for the wiki to pop up so I can finally further understand what is what, even with the test level. I must say though, good job with the models/animations/Gui's! It's beautiful.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
The data loggers don't change in direction when placed though, well for me that is. If I try to stack them in opposite directions (a data logger) or on a wall facing another direction, I get a message saying "you can't place this block at this side".

I'd like to see this updated (and in an official 1.9 beta) as much as any one, but just how much did you pay for this mod? Nothing? That's what I thought. About what AP has made from it too, I'm sure. Try being glad it ever existed and thankful for the work that's gone into it instead of acting like a butthole.
Right on! My thought's exactly. This is free charity work from coders and mod designers being shared to the community so if anything, it's a blessing to even have a great mod like this. To the team (or person) that made this mod, thanks! I'll be waiting for future updates!
Jul 21, 2013After spending days figuring out which mods I should keep and how stressful it is going to sort out the ID conflicts between them, I came to the point of wishing there where more aesthetic mods that serve the purpose of just standing still and looking pretty.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
It just so happened to rain as it dawned upon me that I might just have to go on a crash course Java, forge, and whatever else learning spree to finally make my "dream" of aesthetic mods come true (Lamp posts and candle lights LOL).
And then, came along this WONDERFUL LIFE SAVING MOD that is overshadowed by the "popular" mods. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! This mod and it's versatility for aesthetic and function objects deserve so much more attention!!! No really, if I had a few hundred bucks I would definitely donate for your hard work. Seriously. THANK YOU!

Thank you everyone for notifying me of this, and I'm sorry for being slow to update it.
Anyway, I would appreciate it if someone can compile reported bugs since the last update. Just to make sure I didn't miss anything.
In 1.8 news:
I'm somewhat satisfied of how the apple tree works and looks right now. They currently only spawn sideways because of metadata (16) limitation. I'm thinking of adding another apple block that will spawn underneath leaves to lessen the patterned/repeating look.
AND ONE MORE THING. It looks like a lot, really a lot, of players/modders will stay by at 1.7.x at the meantime. While I do support moving forward with the game, I can't just leave those who chose to stay behind hanging. Because this, I've decided to also port future stuff to 1.7.10

So today is the first anniversary of Pistronics! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
And with it the first anniversary of me doing mods for public.
I wish I could provide a new super cool version for this special day but I can't, sooo....
*insert super nostalgic speech of awesome*
Thanks to everyone who supported, criticized, helped or encouraged me over the past year.
Thanks to everyone who reported bugs, made videos or suggested ideas for the mod.

That's ok, AW is a hugely frustrating mod at the moment for everyone. I'm sitting on piles of finished structures that are waiting on resolution of the spawner block problems, and some info or directions on how its supposed to be used. Its all trial and error at the moment, with more error than anything else - no documentation on it at all anywhere.
I just want to release the structures and have done with it. Frustrated much? Yep.
The biggest thing lacking from the mod is really the siege engines - people look at the op and download and then feel entirely cheated they are not there. I can understand and sympathise with that. Will they make a return - who knows. Don't get any response on much at all from GoToLink - I think it must be easier to get in touch with God
Ha the pressure of public expectations...I do hope nobody will write a book on me and fight wars over my dead body :/
New mod version on CurseForge, by the way.
Actually, he's just a very busy guy - I don't know if you know, but he has worked on updating two dozen or more mods to more current versions of Minecraft. Even though they were not originally of his making, that's a LOT of work, and a mod like AW has a lot going on that needs work.
So just be patient - he will respond to you when he has time, if not directly then probably by posting for everyone how to resolve the issue you mentioned.
Actually, some of my mods are ready for 1.8...though i am mostly working on another big mod...Battlegear 2 - The Awesome Update

I think this update will make a lot of people happy =)
- Beta Version 0.5.2
Added: Pistons (not Rotators) now push Entities.
Added: The creative machine can now be configured for every redstone
Added: Tooltip to Gears and Sailparts to clearify how they are made.
Added: Rods and Extension now try to predict the way you want to place them
Added: ConfigOption: predictPlacement
Changed: Rightclicking a Rodfolder or CreativeMachine will now only open the GUI
when the base of the machine was targeted.
Fixed: Placing blocks by clicking on the side of a partblock now works again
Fixed: Redstone signals being transfered "through" the creative machine
Fixed: Client sometimes crashing when pushing/retrieving on a very fast pace
Fixed: Machines no longer z-Fight with rods/extensions
Fixed: Rodsides not rendering if a block is next to them
Fixed: Rods are no longer shown to move inside the rodfolder from the back.
Fixed: ExtensionPart Textures on 1.6.4
Fixed: You can no longer pass through moving blocks
(Hopefully) Fixed: Game sometimes crashing with a ConcurrentModificationException
Yes you are now able to build working elevators in P2 and you can no longer walk through moving blocks.
I spent some time tweaking the numbers in order to make it smooth and lower the risk of people suddenly falling through the floor. Hope this works out.
The Creative Machine has a new GUI, which might look confusing at first but it really isn't that complicated: Basically you can configure the action for every redstone strength individually. The first one "*" will trigger for any redstone strength (if nothing else is triggered). Remember that redstone rods/extensions/etc. preserve redstone strength. (This feature has been requested by MasterZH). As I said before I don't want the creative machine to be used in normal survival. It is supposed to be an easy and compact way to move stuff in creative/adv maps. You can enable the recipe in the config though.
As suggested by Planetguy I added crafting Tooltips to gears and sailparts. Thanks again =)
And now I want to talk about something I saw a lot of people having problems with: placing rods/extensions/parts correctly.
Of course this is my fault, because I made it inconvenient. So I tried to improve it like so:
- You no longer have to sneak when placing block next to partblocks.
- You are now able to add rods and rodparts by clicking on the side of an adjacent block.
- The Game now tries to predict the way you want to place blocks. That means if you click at the end of rod or rodpart the new block will be placed facing the same direction. (This can be disabled in the config, but why the hell would you want to do that? ^^')
A very common crash until now was a ConcurrentModificationException during rendering. This was first reported by Roan_lona about 3 weeks ago and unlike he/she thought this has nothing to do with java8 or list sorting. The cause was that multiple threads were trying to edit/read a list at the same time.
It should be threadsafe now if anyone still gets this crash please let me know. As always thanks for reporting the bug! =)
Lastly I fixed/tweaked the way some blocks are rendered especially for 1.6.
I saw some videos of people using the mod and made a lot of these changes based on that. All I can say is: don't be shy and tell me when something doesn't work.

I found out that after you've created a world, say "Tutorial", you should navigate to. ".minecraft/save/tutorial".
From there, create a new folder named "EA" and create a file named "tutorialSign.txt"
Now open the file and type the names of the nodes within two number signs (hashtags for you twitter fanatics!).
and below that enter the message to be displayed.
At the end of your message leave a blank line.
Put your message here

This has been tested by me and it works.
* Funfact: a "Balise" is an electronic beacon or transponder placed between the rails of a railway as part of an Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system.
If any of you guys have working set-ups, please share them.
Everything I create explodes when I stress test it.
and unfortunately I only have an hour a day I can spend on minecraft.
I also think people can learn from creations from others.
Sharing is caring!

A better question is "Do you use twitter?", because everyone has a twitter. And the answer to that is no. Twitter is lame.

Inspired by Dartcraft's clipboard, iBench adds a portable workbench with a few extras. You are able to shift click into the crafting grid, rotate the outer ring of items, balance, and clear the grid with either a click of a button, or using your Forward, Backwards, Left and Right keys.
The crafting grid will also keep its inventory between uses, providing you with 9 extra slots of storage, and of course it integrates with NEI's automatic recipe completion.
This mod requires Forge

I have just uploaded version 1.0.4 beta.
The documentation can be found here
Tutorials are a work in progress, please take your time to read the documentation.
Feell free to make a wiki page if you want
I have tested as much as I could, but there are so many combinations that bugs are inevitable. Please report it here or on github
Have attention when writing the configs. It's still hard to debug malformed .json
