So you like to make fun of the mentally handicapped do you?

I know he was trolling, Sky. You see, after dealing with my fair share of idiots that lurk on nearly every topic, i've learned how to control my internet anger and rage quite well. You see Sky, I was simpily pointing out you could have been the bigger person in this arguement, and not have partially stooped to his level. Also, I'm not trying to come off as emotional, but I'd rather keep these forums more friendly and calm. Hopefully Sky, you won't have to encounter someone such as Lazy on the forums again. Sadly, you most likely will.
Can you all stop arguing? I came here to read Lazy's question, and all I see afterwards is a ****-ton of internet fighting! Lazy might have been in the wrong, but the way you came off Sky, caused him to react the way he did. I just want the forums to be peaceful. (lol difficulty reference) Also, Toad, your ****tarted comment was not needed.

All the people that try to down-grade a cool suggestion to make it easier, often don't think very hard on how difficult it could actually be. I for one think this idea is excellent. If an aerial creeper wants to annoy me, he can get a taste of one of my arrows. The last thing he see's, is me with my bow, as his vision get's blurry while plummeting to the ground.,
nice top 5 wads but i don't think so you see i made a wad called Ancients04 and it's on wadhost.fathax and great deathmatch levels as i do say so myself and another one is DBZONEv8c also a classic as i say!
Could you please upload a video of your wad? We'd all appreciate it.
Good reminder on how it could use too much memory. This forum can sure have intelligent people! I was thinking now, maybe not for SP use, but a small TF2-like map for MP use, that holds this option only. The chunk data would affect everyone, so therefore all data could be held on the server only.
While i see your point, one could easily repair such a damaged block by clicking on it and switching the damage counter to that of the player. Still, it's an interesting idea, so keep thinking. You might just have something here.
If perma-damage blocks option is enabled, the player gets nothing out of destroying a placed block, even if they use the right tool. To make it more of an R-T-S; players could craft repair kits, that would run out easily, calling for the player to scuttle back and forth, fixing defenses while surviving. Any ideas on how much depth repair kits could have are accepted.
I love how holding the mouse down for the complete amount of time works; you have enough time to make another choice if you don't want to break that block. But, another thought entered my mind; how should blocks work for zombie siege? I mean, if you let the mobs that can destroy your blocks, whittle away at them till' the breaking point, and then kill them, that means your block is still perfect and intact. I believe this can ruin gameplay. If you let mobs get close enough to your structures, and the blocks take damage, they should keep the damage due to your fault of letting them get that close. Here's a good example: If a zombie spends 12 out of the 15 seconds it takes to break an obsidian block, only for you to kill it before the block is destroyed, blocks should be in the same animation frame, and still have about 3 seconds left of life (obsidian in this case.) Also, if Notch does include a TF2-like update, giving each team a base and weapons locker, Defenses, you know everything (MC would be absolutely perfect for something like a blocky first person team shooter!), then it could have a feature where structures (besides sentries) could take damage. This could call for a new class possibly to patch up these messes. MC could have an option for SP games to utilize this function too. Any thoughts on the perma-damage blocks option?
With all the color-related topics i've been creating, I thought I might as well create my OWN topic on stained glass, as to not spread my ideas all around on their topic ideas. My idea on stained glass making, would be adding dyes to the recipe of glass. Duh. In real life, combining a metallic-oxide with raw glass-making materials produces colored glass. Since MC isn't all for realism, I believe this upcoming idea would be EXCELLENT for my favorite dye idea, http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=48396 . Since that idea includes metal ores being used as a dye, it supports this idea. Just imagine how much cooler your glass towers could look! Sand, however, would call for a third spot in the furnace's crafting area. There would be three levels on how deep the colors would be in the glass. 1 dye + block of sand = lightest tint. Increase the amount of dye to achieve desired results. Remember, there are 3 tint levels.

Yes, but two very strong ideas SHOULDN'T stay on the same page. If it's strong enough, it is a wise idea to give it it's own topic to help it thrive.

Already read yours. Pretty good.. Like I said, I created my own topic on stained glass, as to not push my own, sstrong ideas onto yours.
