Emeralds were ment for currency only. BTW, did you know that diamonds used to be emeralds? I have a feeling if they were tools, they'd be the same as diamond. Which would be useless. I think currency works just fine.
And for the blaze rod thing, sounds cool. But lasting longer doesn't seem to make sense. If things lasted longer in the nether, then netherack wouldn't be weaker then cobble now would it? How about they do extra damage? Like when you craft it, you start witha 90% chance of getting sharpness 2 enchant and a 9% chance of getting fire aspect 1, and a 1% chance of getting both?
Or you could just have flaming items. Like flaming diamond pick. Or make fire stuff. With netherrack and blaze rods to make nether stuff. Although that kinda reminds me of terraria.
There could be a craftable lock mechanism that, when crafted with a door/chest, would lock the item, requiring a key to be made.
Keys would be made and could be "synced" by the creator to chests:
1. you make a lock, and you put it in your actionbar.
2. next, you equip it, and right-click. It will bring up a box, in which you type in a "password" for the lock. The lock will only accept keys with a matching password.
3. Make a key. You must type the same password you typed in for the Lock.
4. craft the lock with a door/chest to make a locked door/chest.
5. Place the locked door/chest down. Only the placer can mine it.
If you lose your first key, repeat step 3.
Recipes:
Lock:
Gunpowder=Redstone
Key:
Simple
I was gonna say that...
Anyways, why not just create keys with passwords, use it on doors, and if someone finds your password your screwed? The lock thing sounds unessasary. Plus, what if you don't have the materials for the key after you make the lock?
Key isn't OP if anyones about to say that cause if someone gets it, they'll know the password so you can't just hold it with you. And if you try to hide the key in a chest, they'll steal from your chest. If you hide it in your locked one, well, you can't cause the key's in the lock and you can't store it in a chest if it's in the keyhole(pretend there's a keyhole). So you can't store it, and putting it in a chest would be useless. So not OP at all.
To the poster above me, what if you stored the key ring in the locked chest? Unless that's impossible.
A dragon with 30 exp and a bunch of attacks? I'd prefer if it was just a normal dragon. Anyways, how about a dragon that shoots fire charges that swoops down on you like enderdragon? And enderdragon does have 100 hearts btw. on wiki, i think it says 200 cause 1 heart is 2 half hearts meaning 2 life. Maybe a red dragon that shoots fire, and has 30 hearts. And when it's down to 1 heart, it lands and it stops doing damage and just sits there before it dies. in 5 minutes, it dies. or you could just kill it for drops and exp. Then, when it's in that "about to die and resting" mode, you give it some food and he will be tamed at a small chance. If he accepts, he we be tamed. with 30 hearts, doing 3 hearts of damage, and unable to use fire (due to risk of burning your houses). If he eats it and he doesn't like, it he will fully heal and try to murdure you again or fly away.
If a griefer was trying to blow up your house, the chests would remain safe. Is that a good or bad thing? How about you need to use a Iron key to open it. Iron key gets infinite uses btw. And to break the chest, you need an iron pickaxe. So that noobs without iron can't steal it. Although it'd be useless in singleplayer. Maybe give it more invintory space? And there's also that cool look of iron that people might like.
I always thought creepers were plants, but fungus work
WRONG. Creepers we're originally screwed up pigs that grew too tall and wern't long enough. Why do you think they have 4 feet? Not joking bro. Check minecraft wiki or something.
That's alot of ideas just for fishing don't ya think? This is minecraft, not fishcraft. Although i do like the idea where we get diffrent sized fish. Maybe the bigger the fish, the higher chances of getting an ocelot.
It's not the smartest or the most sensible thing to do if you're that filthy rich, but it's possible.
But tossing in a bundle of coal and gunpowder into a stove? Ehhhh....
You realize that you play a game with mushroom cows, floating blocks, zombies, giant spiders, skeleton archers, a giant dragon that rules it's own dimension, golden apples that heal you, wooden pickaxes that can actually break stone, and a hell world right?
Tossing gunpowder into a stove is bad? Try tossing the limb of a monster from hell into the furnace(blaze rod) and watch it cook pork. And eat it. lol. Gunpowder isn't much worse then eating something cooked from hell sticks. Ya never know if they could be lethal or not.
[REQ] Herobrine vs Notch Mod 1.3.1

I HOPE SOMEONE MAKE THIS MOD IS VERY COOL I THINK
1. if their hearts change from difficulty, what happens if you change from easy to hard? Will they get their health back? i think it'd make more sense if you changed their damage.
2. 100 exp from hard? Enderman has 20 hearts and doesn't have that much exp. How much damage do they do?
3. How does leaves have anything to do with notch or herobrine?
4.difficulty changes drops? So, are you implying that in normal mode, you can't get easy mode stuff? Makes no sense.
5. Unless notches and heorbrines are super rare, has epic AI, and has 30 Hearts, and 10 hearts of damage, that is super OP.
Although it is your idea. these are just my opinions. If you want a super OP sword from something weaker from enderman, then that's your choice. I probably wouldn't download it anyways.
I want a mod that can hold buttons for me. I want this cause i'm trying to cross an ocean and i don't wanna hold W for an hour. Can someone make this and make it work for multiplayer?
How about instead of an item it places a special chest that doesn't drop anything, but has the slimeball inside?
And what if it suffocated? If it suffocated INSIDE a block, where would the chest go?
But, i do have an idea. How about it never dies but whenever it takes too much damage, it goes to the room your talking about and just stands there with 0 health. Then you revive it with 10 slimeballs. Slimes are rare anyways.
I want to make a house that is exacly the size of a chunk. But i don't know where it is. I tried using a calculator but the coordanents say weird things like 5.5 or something and it seems a bit off. I knew i did it wrong cause when i went to the chunk, the chunk was still loading and the chunk that was loading was 1 block off from where i thought it was.
So anyways, how about a mod that can allow people to see a grid on the ground and see the chunks? Or does this already exist?
I agree new ores should be added but not sure if it should be cobalt. Why cobalt anyways?
Anyways, i know this is irrelevant but maybe silver could be a new ore.
Wait. So wolves will remain normal vinnila wolves without training treats right? Cause i don't want it to effect normal gameplay when i don't want to use it.
