    I'm not sure if you are in MCedit or in Minecraft itself, but if you have opened the map in minecraft then I believe you are in Spectator mode. To get in the right mode just press the "/" key and type /gamemode survival. That should get you in the right mode and you should fall into the tripwires in the stone area where you have spawned. If you have left that area and are lost you can re download the map and try again.

    I changed the Command to: /execute as @a[nbt={SelectedItem:[{id:"minecraft:tripwire_hook",Count:1b,tag:{display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Exterior Stairway Key\"}"}}}]}] at @p[x=159,y=4,z=39,distance=2] at @a run kill @e[type=minecraft:falling_block,x=159,y=4,z=39]. I think I'm close, yet so far, I think I just need to find out how to stop it from spawning new sand

    ok, now the sand is invisible, but It won't disappear when I go up to it with the tripwire hook.if this doesn't work I might have to resort to the slime method of locking wooden doors which I have no Idea how to do.


    EDIT: Instead of summoning falling sand I put /summon Air in command block C and it still didn't work. The problem is the detection, or maybe it detects it, but the other commands still run preventing me from opening the door.

    I've been trying to update this command to the most recent snapshot of minecraft: but I'm stuck at the third command block. I've fixed all the others to the most recent version but this is the only one that is bugging me. When I have the key I want to use on the locked door, The falling sand won't disappear. I believe this is mostly due to my lack of knowledge on the /execute command. It would be great if someone could assist me with this.


    The commands I'm using:


    Command block A: /setblock "coordinates above Command block B" redstone_block destroy

    Command block B: /setblock "coordinates above Command block B" air

    Command C: (The one that is troubling me): /execute as @a[nbt={SelectedItem:[{id:"minecraft:tripwire_hook",Count:1b,tag:{display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Exterior Stairway Key\"}"}}}]}] at @p["coords of the bottom half of the wooden door",distance=2] run summon minecraft:falling_block "coords of the bottom half of the wooden door" {tileID:166}

    D: /summon minecraft:falling_block "Bottom half of the door" {tileID:166}

    E: /summon minecraft:falling_block "Top half of the door" {tileID:166}


    Command D and E summon the sand to lock the door.


    Command C is supposed to detect whether you have the key or not. I added the summon part to it because It needed me to add more to it so I thought I'd combine two commands.


    Commands A and B make a fast red stone clock.

    Cool, but It was only the song I made that was inspired by Diddy Kong racing. If there is a similarity somehow to it in the track It was not on purpose. Just for clarification.

    Your tracks are pretty cool! Frostbite caverns looks a bit confusing and cramped, but other than that I like your custom tracks. Do you mind If I do something similar for my custom tracks, except its like a compilation of mk8 replays?

    Back at it again with one last submission! This one is Arabian themed. (I had to do research for this one so you better like it!!...jk I actually liked doing the research) Again I don't have the time trial times in case you decide to change the course.

    I only have 1 request and that is to make sure the only shortcuts are the ones through the house and the one right after the third checkpoint towards the lone house.


    I was going to include a savannah mountain that was close by the desert I built the course in, but It didn't work out due to there being a ton of lighting glitches.


    I'm still waiting for someone I can work with who is good at redstone to make Cookie Land. Meanwhile these are the current ideas I have in mind for my new tracks. I'm still doing the same voting system like last time. These will take much longer (school and all that crap)


    Original ideas:
    • A skate park
    • A museum, but it might be too cramped, may become a battle course
    • A circuit (this one is more like actual MK tracks. Of course it will have its own spin on things)
    • A battle course in a giant bathroom
    • ??? (<- secret, ooOOOOOOoooh)
    Remakes / Remixes of other tracks
      Greenwood Village, Hot Top Volcano, or Crescent Island (DKR) (I have a feeling that someone already did crescent Island but just in case)
      another DD64 track
      Haight (Rush 2049) (may need a partner for this one too)

    Just a quick update on my latest track, I am 90% done, I just need to add directional arrows and checkpoints, then add some scenery. If Flamingosaurus wants me to DM him a schematic so he can test it I will gladly accept. There's also a huge empty area where I have no Idea what I should add there.


    I'm planning to have a Nighttime version of it (with a different route) and a battle course located on top of the ship While it's out at sea. I might call it "Top Deck" (I know there will be jokes where people call it Top Kek).


    Also I accidentally spawned in a baby villager once, and unlike a baby zombie, it did not die.
