I don't feel like ready all this, (I missed out on the updates because the thread only showed up to the 15th until now.) so can somebody give me a quick thing on everything so far, like the update status, and world news and stuff. Thanks lol
Are you using windows 7? If so, make sure the file actually has the *.exe extension, I've had several things do this to me where they don't have the extension when I downloaded it, so I had to just rename it an add .exe to the end. Hope this helps!
Thanks, I solved the problem! It was Internet Explorer. Swapped to Google Chrome to test it and it downloaded! Server is set up
So I wanted to create a little world for my friends and I to play on but I can't seem to get minecraft_server.exe to open, I go to open but the pop up box has 'Find' 'Save' and 'Cancel'. I don't have anything to open it with, could somebody help me, maybe if they had the same problem they have a tool that could open it. Thanks!

First: Knives a small suggestion; you could have left a sign or dropped a PM telling me what was happening because I didn't know that you copy-pasted, I was unaware of that feture.
Second: Paradise I just built my house there because I thought it was a cool place, I did not take sand out of the arena, you did not suggest to build somewhere else, and the only reason I left was because I was frustrated because, of course, my house was gone.
If you still don't want me back there Knives thats fine with me, it was a great experience. Enjoy the server.
I built my house looking over the arena and Lucas Town on top of a mountain. Today my house was gone for the sake of the stupid arena. The stairs and everything are still there. There isnt even PvP or monsters so whats is the poiint of an arena that deletes houses. Whoever built the arena and got rid of my house, I hate you. That is all.
It would be very scary to just casually work on your house during the day, then turn night they see the torches. They come in their ship and abduct you.
Maybe they could pose as boss-type characters, with their special dungeons in the sky. They would be somewhat camoflauged of course, or on a cloud-type plane contraption. There would be multiple ones, sort of like Temples in The Legend of Zelda. After beating each dragon, the final one would give you a special compass to a home hidden very well in the map, and give you a very powerful item drops, such as a sword with more power than a diamond sword and such. I think this would add a very nice, optional of course, RPG aspect to the game.

When i go to break a block of any type, i crash. When i go back the block is broken, but if i try to break another, I crash again.
I don't have any mods, but my texture pack is GeroDoku, updated for 1.5_1 as seen here:

Please help me, I would like to continue my Minecrafting as soon as I can.
