And on a side note, did someone make a video with my pack or something? I thought the pack was basically dead while I was working on the update (cannot put it out yet, I'm waiting for the makers of Grimoire of Gaia 2 and Chococraft to come on and either allow me to use the pack or deny me), but, it seems there has been a bunch of downloads and runs of the pack in the past few days.
Can you make your mod so it automatically detects mod armors, mod blocks, mod drinks, and the like; and have them added them to the custom properties list? I have a modpack that I want to add this mod too, but, I don't have the time to go through all the items. (metallurgy adds alot of armor and stuff, and pam's harvestcraft has a lot of varying food and drinks)
Also, you should add a miner villager for the mineshafts in villages. Perhaps he could sell varying ores, ingots, and jewels.

Also, for a node compass, why not look at the code for the ender eyes? They are used to track down strongholds.

Would a similar device be possible in your mod? Maybe it could be used to track nodes, dungeons, and magical contraptions.
