Someone has to have tried this already, but I'd just like to say that I started a world with the seed Notch (as in :iapprove:) and it wasn't bad. Spawned right next to a sandy beach and a large hill with what looked like a doorway cut in the side. I found a perfectly (I mean freakishly perfect) symmetrically cut cave room, and it was pretty big, too. It had 2 more tunnels leading off through the hill into another area with snow I think.
I was playing on Hard, and went out for the day, and when I came back there were 4 or 5 creepers all jumping around INSIDE that big cave room - apparently I didn't put up enough torches. I ended up having to rebuild my entrance :sad.gif:
I had the same problem and deleting those keys from the registry didn't help.
Until I thought of the Add/Remove Programs list in the Windows (XP) Control Panel where the "ASUS Enhanced Display Driver" was simply listed!
I had removed the ASUS keys from the registry before without luck, but just removing the driver using the Programs list solved my problem. Stupid I didn't think about that earlier.
So make sure that display drivers other than those for your plugged-in card are uninstalled from that list! :smile.gif:
