This mod looks awesome! I'm guessing by what was said at the start of this thread about development versions means that the GunCus III (For 1.8) isn't open for download? If it is, then which link is it please?
The pictures in the OP are down or broken, could you post them again?
Are the water platforms with the end stone, enchantment table, beds and redstone lamps from this mod?
If so, how can I disable them in the 1.7.10 version? I tried setting small ships/help ships/floating islands to false, but they still spawn.

GunCus has already been cleaned up and stabilized for 1.7.10 after you gave it to me and Blackhawk.

Stuuuupiiid, I saw that you have Gun Cus coming for 1.8, what made you decide to do an update to 1.8, and not just continue updating Gun Cus 2 for 1.7? I mean, its your mod and you can do whatever you want with it, I'm just asking for the sake of asking for everyone else who's wondering.

Well. First of all LOTS of code has changed, so I had to rework almost everything anywhays. So updating would mean rewriting anywhays. Second, the mod was buggy and the code was not clean.
So lets make something clear:

GunCusIII = current project
At the beginning I will not add support for gun packs. Once again 2 reasons for this:
1. flans mod allows this already
2. ^ is hard to install, often buggy and takes long to update. GunCusIII is written the easiest way possible to ensure fast updates and a bugfree experience.
So gun packs wont be supported at the beginning. I also think they wont be compatible, ever.

Also: This is not an update request, the mod has changed completely and requires a new description. If you dont have time to create a good one, add this:
FanAPI adds a lot of new combat stats (attack damage, mana, attack speed...) to the player to completely chane the PvP system (PvE remains almost unchainged). The items of this mod are called "artefacts". Those will improve your combat abilities. You can also combine them to create different spells that allow you to throw fire balls or slow down your enemies. You get those artefacts only by finding a holy temple and building around it. This means that players will start creating alliances and declare war. You can also create you own items easily by using a very complex but simple content pack system. This mod is opensource and can be used as an API.
However, all descriptions you have made were better than mine (by far). So pls consider creating one.

You will be able to receive new abilities and improve your attributes by simply wearing items brought to you by this mod. All of the shown items use a complex content pack system to allow everybody to create custom item sets and custom effects. Even without any coding knowledge!
The GUI
The red Bar at the top shows your current Health and your Maximum Health. It also shows your Health Regeneration (per 5 seconds) The blue bar shows alomost the same but it's Mana related. So it shows your current Mana as well as your Maximum Mana and your Mana Regeneration (per 5 seconds).
The left icons show the following stats (from top to bottom):
This picture shows a structure, the Holy Temple, braught to you by this mod. The block with a diamond in the middle of it is called Block of Tributes. You can not harvest this block. The golden blocks are Block of Gods. Those blocks are the key of this mod. You can only harvest them using the Scepter:
The Scepter will then be charged. You can now place Block of Gods again but you need to place it next to a Block of Tributes or next to another Block of Gods (this means that you have to build around the Holy Temple if you want to controll those blocks). There may also not be any block above those blocks in a 3-block-diameter.
The Block of Gods will now start to generate Artefacts... randomly. The more you play with this mod the more you will realize that those Artefacts are very valuable and other players might also want them but they didnt find a Holy Temple. So they have only two choices:
They attack you - They will die 99% because those Artefacts improve your combat abilities (diamond swords and armor parts only work against mobs now).
They want to join you - This means you can now start building your Alliance!

Yes, this mod uses a complex (but easy) content pack system. No matter what type of spell you would like to have, you can create it using custom textures and sounds. I will do a tutorial once people are interested in creating their own content (tell me in comments). But for now I will only work on the "official" content pack.
Artefacts & Recipes
I wont post recipes here since they are part of discovering. Just try to combine artefacts (only! no other items). If you really want to check out the recipes open the /.minecraft/fanapi/ folder. There you can find all artefacts. Open the folder of one and check out the item_config.cfg file for it's recipe.
At the top of the topic you can see (almost) all artefacts. Some are hidden from creative tab.
1. Open the zip archive using WinRAR or 7zip
2. Put the jar file into the /.minecraft/mods folder
3. Put the "fanapi" archive into your /.minecraft/ folder next to the config/mods/whatever folders
4. Put any content packs into this "fanapi" folder. The default pack is already included
5. Start Minecraft
