    I am 14 years old, 15 in two weeks. It's nice to see that adults play Minecraft, it adds diversity to the community. I may be a bit young, but that doesn't mean I am immature.

    Interesting idea. The chances for spawning fish should be way lower, because someone could put 30 blocks of TNT and get a stack of free fish. Also, would it also bring up the treasure and junk items from fishing too?

    The flag is a two block tall item. It has a two block tall fence post, and the flag is made of wool. The flags can be different colors, depending on what color wool you use to craft it. Flags look something like this:

    The flag is crafted with three wooden planks (of any kind), and wool. The wool can be any color, but cannot be mixed. You will get three flags after crafting.


    There are three options on how you can use flags. First, you can just leave them blank, and use them for pure decoration. Second, if you right click it with an empty hand, you are able to type a message, just like a sign. This can be used to mark mountains you've climbed, or other accomplishments. Third, you can right click a flag with any item, to display it like an item frame. The items cannot be rotated though. You can use this to create flags for factions, or to mark your territory. Using flags and custom maps will make it even better. Text and items cannot be combined together on the same flag.When you place a flag, it will point away from where you are facing, so you are able to orient it to wherever you want. Flags will show up on maps, as blocks of wool. Also, you can always make the flag taller than two blocks, by placing it on top of more fence posts. In the future, flags could also be used to Mojang's planned 'capture the flag' game mode.Thoughts?

    There aren't many light sources in Minecraft. There's a good amount, but not enough to satisfy some people, especially builders. Here's an idea for a new light source: the Lava Lamp.

    A lava lamp is crafted like this. It will give you four lava lamps. You get the bucket back.


    It looks something like this.


    The Lava Lamp is a safe way to display lava. It gives off a light level of 14, just like a torch. When you break a Lava Lamp, it will create a big puff of smoke, and drop a block of glass.

    You can dye Lava Lamps different colors, orange being the default. Just right click it with a dye. (Suggested by NirtogenSnow.)

    Thoughts?

    I really like the new stone types. They are abundant, but it's not a bad thing. I already put granite and diorite in my house, and it looks really good.

    So the only built-in resource pack available in Minecraft is the default pack. I think that Mojang should add a second pack called 'classic'. The classic pack will have all of the old sounds, and some of the older textures. It would definitely shut up many of the nostalgia struck complainers, and would be a good addition to the game overall. The icon of the classic pack will be the same as the default, but in grayscale. Yes, I know you could just download one, but an official one would always be updated on time, and require no downloads from the internet. Thoughts?

    After a while, the plain white beacon beam gets boring. Why not be able to color it? It could be useful for many things, and look good too!

    In the beacon's interface, there will be a new slot, next to the existing one. You can change the beams color by sacrificing one valuable item, and one dye, so both slots have to be filled to press check. You choose your power, then your color, and then you activate it. The beacon will light up, with the color you chose.

    Colored beacons can be good for decoration. They also can be used to mark locations by color code, which can be extremely useful in servers, and survival worlds.

    Here's a picture of a colored beacon. I altered the color of the beam with a texture pack.



    Thoughts?

    Currently, the clownfish is useless. But I thought of a use for it.

    Since clownfish is a fairly rare catch, it needs a special use. So I thought that crafting gold ingots around it would turn it into a golden clownfish. When you eat it, you get water breathing and regeneration for one minute. It would look like this:



    Nothing too big, but could be useful. Thoughts?
