1/2 Support! Sideways slabs could be very helpful, especially to builders. But like Frog81 said, they might turn into tile entities, which means no more pistons pushing slabs.
You might want to focus on building structures out of simple shapes like circles and squares. That way you can keep them "perfect" without a huge strain on yourself and spend the extra time doing other things.

Hey everyone, I was thinking recently, about how I must be perfect to make myself happy in Minecraft. It takes away all of the fun, and I hate it. I can't seem to stop too, which is why i'm asking for help. I didn't want to post this topic at first, but now, I really need help, because I can't take it anymore. I can't have fun, because all I really do nowadays is just sit there and play, without being afraid of caves, happy when goals are met, and not noticing the amount of time wasted trying making every single last detail perfect. For example, when I create a new world, I hop right in to everything. I overwhelm myself, trying to make my 1st shelter look good, instead of dealing with it, knowing it can be done later. The world eventually gets deleted since I don't want to "deal with the trouble." Can anyone please help me?
I'm not saying MC is hard, I'm saying that I need to make all of my builds perfect.

I think it would be a mixture of green, blue, white, and sand. It would be mostly blue, because of oceans. There would be specks of green, for grass, sand, for deserts, and white for snow.
That is Bedrock. Bedrock generates at the very bottom of the map. Bedrock cannot be obtained in survival mode, because it is unbreakable, even with a lot of TNT. It's purpose is to prevent players from entering the void, which is empty space below your world. I hope I helped.

Horses are going to be added to Minecraft. Jeb gave us the hint when Minecraft hit 10 million sales. Later, he released screenshots. The newest information reveals that horses will be able to wear armor, and will have the ability to be tied up to a fence. It's looking great so far! Keep it up, Mojang!
UPDATE: 4-27-2013: Jeb stated on twitter that horse saddles have been removed, and the normal saddles will be used for both pigs and horses! I am happy about this, since crafting a second type of saddle is redundant, compared to finding one in a dungeon to ride on a less valuable animal.
