I do agree that the new one is better, but there are a couple of apparent lines which mess with the tiling.

After some thought (and bad textures), I've come up with this design. It's just some dye in a flask, with a very rudimentary cork.

Could you guys show me the dyes that you've done for your packs? I'm at a loss for how to texture them (partly due to my rustiness, lol). If it helps any, I'm editing a 16x simplistic pack.

    @halucid:

Maybe, going off what Sheep said, you could use CTM to add the door border onto the blocks surrounding it? Just a thought.

Hey guys. I've dusted off a pack I started a couple years ago. I'm a bit rusty, so I'm curious what you guys might think about it. Don't go easy on me. Let me have it.

I feel like I'm gunna get a lot of flack with the direction I chose for my Jungle stuff. Keep in mind I plan on adding CTM to all the planks, as well as the Iron Block.

    Cid

I feel like the jungle stuff is a tad bit noisy, but that may just be me.

Also, they look great and I love how you've individualized the textures. Perhaps you could make the current textures for the jungle alternate, and create new base ones?

Not sure if I prefer the outline on these or not:
    carrot(stylised) gold sword
    Any thoughts?

Also any other feedback about the textures is welcome.

I agree that the carrot is better with the outline, but the sword is better without.

Kind of unrelated, but I think that this kunai should be a retexture of a hoe, as in real life, kunai were originally meant to be multipurpose farming tools...

Actually, I based the texture off of a maplestory weapon.

I made a texture for a plugin that the owner of a server I play on is developing, based off of this image. It was requested as 16x. Thoughts?

Also, congrats to Steelfeathers for getting featured on Skyrim Mods Weekly.

I need some opinions, I can't decide which style I like more. The first uses Peyton's palette and the second uses Drazile's.

I prefer the left, as it's bright and cheery (which may be a given), and the right is too dull for my tastes. I also like how the left has more detail than the right.

I made cobblestone, and I am re-posting the grass and planks because I want critiques!

    -EDIT- Page git!

    -snip-

    The textures look great!

However, there's a tiling error in the dirt. It has a vertical, dark line running between each block. Also, I feel as though the cobblestone is too uniform. For example, here is a cobblestone texture that I made a while ago.

Notice how much of it looks basically the same. It starts to blend together. Now, after adding a little bit of randomization, it looks like this.

While my texture may have gone a bit overboard, the lesson is still there. Variate your textures.

Hi Meep, glad to see you're still kickin... and apparently some serious glutes with them textures. That cobblestone looks brilliant. Diggin the grass and dirt, stone looks awesome but may I suggest adding hints of red in the iron ore to give it a bit of color variation. (sorry if I assumed wrong).

I think the ores he made are gold and diamond.

Still trying to decide on if I should start texturing again (I wonder if anyone still remembers me)

@stronghold, I would suggest adding a little more contrast on the iron block.

    Is this better?

    Also, I took some screenshots.

I got back into texturing just to see what I could still do, and it was a fun relief. If I were you, I'd try it again.

I went and textured, and retextured, some more stuff. Thoughts?

New stuff includes cobble, obsidian, tall grass, snow, planks, sand, and emerald/iron/log top recolors.
