I figured out the ender gateways. For those who don't want to discover it themselves:
You throw an ender pearl at the core!

That would have to be a configurable option because with many people (including me) the constant light updates from running with a torch would be laggy as hell. I've tested with multiple mods. Unless they preform some wizard magic for it to not lag...

They are both right click, so no.

I usually play modded singleplayer, but I have always wanted to play on a modded server with a few people. The thing is, I only have ONE friend (In real life) and he doesn't even play minecraft (and doesn't a computer able to play it).

I added it to FTB Infinity and had no problems. Due to wtchery though, there were some overlapping potion ids so I installed dragon api to increase the maximum amount of potion ids.
Thaumcraft is always the "go to" magic mod even though there isn't really much you can do with like offensive and utility apects with your wand. Ars magica spells are much better than wand foci due to the sheer range of things you can do with them. Sure Thaumcraft is mor epolished than Ars Magica, but Ars Magica is by far the more fun and useful mod.

I don't understand why most magic modpacks don't have Ars Magica :\

Yes, stormfront12, an aircraft carrier weighs many thousands of tons and is made of steel but it floats just fine. It's not about materials its about displacement my friend.
It's also about the shape and size. A very small square boat made of obsidian would not float. It wouldn't be able to displace enough to float.

I have never understood why people talk about obsidian boat that float in lava. OBSIDIAN DOES NOT FLOAT.

What does that have to do with ANYTHING? At all? I didn't call you one or anything.

When i first started using mods for minecraft nei wasn't updated to 1.7.2 yet so I had recipe book and tmi. Once I found this mod though (and when nei updated) I started using auw and nei.

Almost all mods require forge. It's pretty simple to install forge anyways. You can find man tutorials, just search.

One of the reasons I prefer mods like this and thermal expansion over ic2 is because ic2 has some REALLY tedious crafting recipes everywhere. Also the armor in this mod is amazing. It's like a steam version of the modular powersuits mod.

What version of minecraft?
What version of mod?
Do you have the required animation api?

I like to make a zone spell that when enemies walk into it it stops them from moving (i think with entangle or something) then flings them in the air and pulls them down with gravity well to make them take a lot of fall damage really fast.

umm, options?

See, that's what i posted a little bit ago, but other people said it's just incompatible with optifine. I added it to a modpack and tinkers construct blocks were invisible, so I updated and it was fixed.

If you really need optifine (like me) then try an updated version or possibly an older version. In some modpacks when trying to add optifine, some versions make blocks invisible, while others don't. This version works for me: OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_B5

What do you mean bend in half?

I've always used this mod with optifine and it works perfectly fine!
I even added optifine to a few modpacks before the fix some fps issues and never had problems with this mod.

All I would like you to do is be more clear in your posts on the exact problem you are having, and do not act like a mod creator is obligated to update a mod.

It should be simple to figure out.
Open your map.
Click on the waypoints button.
Click delete next to the waypoints you want to delete.

Did you install the required other mod, Mantle, too? The op says to install it.

All you should need to know is that the 1.8 version is a "1.8 DEVELOPMENT version".
