Animals do spawn in ocean biomes........I saw a Sea-cow, Sea-sheep, and sea-chicken. I wish I took images from the time I went exploring, but you do find animals besides squid in the ocean......It's just.......random.
Mine did......Just only in the ocean
I've seen quite a few land critters out in the middle of the ocean while exploring, too.
First off, just email them. Second, why do you need them to know about someone buying gift cards? This is paypal's business, Mojang has nothing to do with it.
The email system for paypal is acting up right now. That, and I figured since the transactions were all between paypal and Mojang, they might want to know that crap like this is going on. I dunno where the breach occurred [most likely paypal], but, again, I thought they might want to know. I'd like to know if someone had been buying my products with fraudulent transactions, but maybe I'm weird like that.
Groovy. Glad there's an easy way to get in touch with em.
About the 0.00 paypal balance; they've been alternating deposits and withdrawals. I caught them mid-cycle, so I have $30 of theirs frozen in my account, but the whole situation is pretty galling.
Not exactly sure how to contact the folks at mojang, other than this forum, so I'll put my notification here.
I just got a notification today from paypal that over 30 transactions were made on my account, all of them used to purchase gift codes from mojang. The customer service department at paypal is closed for the night, but I will be contacting them about it early tomorrow. I'm not sure how this happened, but I'd recommend other folks check their paypal accounts for any weird activity.
Well, I dunno if there's another thread like this, if so, feel free to ignore me or merge my posts into that thread.
Anywho, since the last update, I've noticed a few odd things . . .
First, I seem to have found a bit of a clipping glitch with wooden slabs; sometime, when walking from a wooded slab to a solid wood block, the edges won't connect properly, and I'll fall through to the ground below [painful treehouse surprise]. I fixed it by placing another solid block beneath the slab, but I still get a bit of a glitchy pause when I walk between the two surfaces.
Second, [and this is just plain awesome, but I couldn't get a screen shot] whilst walking about, I found a small wooded island with a total of 13 wolves cavorting about, devouring sheep and splashing in the surf! Wish I'd had some bones on me at the time . . .
Well, feel free to add your observations and commentary!
Thought I was killing a pig, but *NO* . . . . Wish I woulda screened it first, but again, I thought it was a pig. Dropped pink wool. I swear I'll screen it if I see one again!
Nothing constructive in this post, just sharing my woes and anguish.
Finally found a danged pegasus today. Been carrying around an apple and a saddle just in case, so I was overjoyed when I looked out my door and saw a white horse on a nearby island. As I closed the distance, I spied a hungry bear attacking another horse nearby. His attention quickly turned to the magnificent pegasus, and I readied my bow, barely managing to kill the bear before he devoured the horse. Brimming with pride and accomplishment, I popped open my inventory and grabbed an apple, reaching out to befriend the noble beast . . . *ssssssssss . . . BOOM!*
Okay, I feel pretty dumb asking, but I'm at my wit's end here. I'm trying to install the johnsmith HD texture pack, and I simply cannot get it to work. The custom lava and water animations work just fine, but everything else is default textures. I've followed the instructions posted in this forum to the letter, to no avail.
I'm running Vista Home Premium [32bit], and using WinRAR. I don't get any error messages, just fire up Minecraft after following the instructions and *bam*; default textures with HD lava and water. I'd greatly appreciate any help in finding the right thread to solve this problem, or just a simple answer so I can stop banging my head against this digital wall.
Thanks in advance for your patience with this tech-tarded noob.
