    Is there a texture pack that makes vanilla tools (stone pickaxe, iron sword, etc) have the catalyst components visible like the bone pickaxe does?


    EDIT: is there any chance you can make this work with the Dense Ores mod? It must be something about them not listed under what can be broken by pickaxes, but nothing can break them.

    Well that did it, but I can only run about 12fps. Do you know any lighter shaders that could be run on an intel iris pro with at least 30 fps?

    If you are dropping a .ZIP file into the shaderpacks folder, if you double-click on the ZIP file you should get this:

    ***Sildurs' v1.07 Extreme.zip

    ---------shaders (folder)

    ----------------FSH and VSH files


    You can unzip those files into the shaderpacks directory too, makes it easier to edit the shader files, but most people don't do that.


    The way things are ending up now, mods/resourcepacks/etc will start crashing forge if they are NOT ZIPPED up.. Read that somewhere in LexManos's comments..


    Right now they're just folders... Should I compress them?

    There is no mention of any errors, it just says shaders initialized whenever I select one and I can see it reload textures through the menu, but there is no difference from default. I'll see if I can upload a video later

    If by that you mean dragging the shaders mod into the mods folder then yes. I can select and deselect shaders, they just don't do anything.

    I am aware Cybox is unavailable right now, but does anyone else know why shaders do not affect my game in any way at all? There is no graphics improvement, no fps drop, nothing.

    Running Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, 2GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB graphics card

    Usually just running Optifine along with it

    Yeah that fixed the messed up text, but I'm still having this problem, I don't know if it's my specs or what causing it, but shaders are making absolutely no graphical difference on the game. They don't even affect the fps. Do you have any idea why? Specs are 2 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 8gb 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB graphics card
