I think dinosaurs would be amazing in Minecraft, even if it was just a Tyrannosaurus as an endgame mob. Especially if they were added early in development I think they'd fit great. And of course, I'd love to see Liopleurodon as a mob
(Also, just putting it out there, the only flying dinosaurs were birds. You're thinking of pterosaurs, which were reptiles, but not dinosaurs, although they were in the same family as dinosaurs, along with alligators and crocodiles.)

More ocean life would be amazing! My personal ideas as follows:
-Mobs for all the existing fish. Fish/Cod and Salmon spawn in all bodies of water, while clownfish and pufferfish can only spawn in oceans. Pufferfish will expand when approached and deal Thorns damage while fleeing, similar to Guardians. Cod and Salmon spawn in schools, and Clownfish spawn within anenome 'plants' that deal poison damage when you touch them. Naming a clownfish Nemo gives it one smaller fin.
-Baby squids, and squid shooting ink in vanilla. Also, Calamari and Cooked Calamari.
-Guardians can spawn in the ocean naturally, about as rare as witches
-Whales as passive mobs in oceans would be awesome. Also, dolphins as smaller and faster creatures, tameable and breedable with fish like horses.
-Crafting a fish bowl with glass and water, you can put any of the small fish mobs in it by right clicking, including Nemo. To capture them without damaging them, craft a net with string, slime balls and sticks.
-Sharks. Sharks are usually neutral, but ocassionally spawn hostile. Drops fish, clownfish, shark fins (maybe for crafting some sort of aquatic weapon, idk), and rarely a Shark Pup, which like the standard fish can be used like a spawn egg in water or placed in a fish tank.

It's not gonna be animated. But what they're doing I think is better. Look at the movie trailer :

Well. It is animated. But not as a normal 3d animation.
That's not the trailer for this movie, that was a fan made movie that was GOING to be made but won't be. -

I'm guessing that the zombies used to be Minecraftian's like Steve (Same for Skeletons and Endermen), but the Ender Dragon used her power to create an undead plague, and Steve is the last survivor of the Minecraftian race. -

Who said anything about a trailer? And has it really been confirmed that it will be live action?
Not sure how valid this is, he might mean the trailer for the fan-made kickstarter.
And as far as I'm aware all the press says its live action, not sure if Mojang or Notch has said anything yet. - To post a comment, please login.

If you hold SHIFT you won't fall off of blocks, then you can keep placing onto the sides of them to move across open spaces.

Nope I stand by my statement, we need a bit more challenge, as long as the mob doesn't spawn annoyingly often (which it doesn't) I don't have any problem with it.

Wow, this is the sort of overhaul every biome deserves. Support!

Cool idea for sure, and it'd be very useful. However, I don't think it should instantly kill surviving guardians, in case anyone has captured Guardians for use in a tank.

This is awesome! A cosmetic set of armor, a challenging end-game mob, and it's story is open to interpretation like much of Minecraft itself! I'd highly recommend posting this on /r/minecraftsuggestions, which is where the developers actually look at ideas for the game

I've yet to find a banner design I truly love unfortunately, but I really do like the idea!

A 3.0 has already been confirmed that will add a lot more community-based stuff, go reread the blogpost

I'd call Wyverns 'cousins' rather then True Dragons, similarly to sea serpants. Although then one could make the argument that Western and Eastern species of dragons should be considered fully separate, only as related as 'cousins' as wyverns to Western Dragons.
At the end of the day dragons are mythical creatures and (probably) nobody alive today has seen one, if they ever did exist. It's all up to how you decide to interpret it, there's no use arguing over what's at it's core just opinions. It's like debating whether zebras are black with white stripes or white with black stripes (even though they're obviously white with black stripes
)

Did you donate at http://optifine.net/home ? If you just clicked a link in chat, or it asked for your username and your password while you did it, you've been scammed. Get into your email and try to change your password, if that doesn't work contact Mojang Support.

Yeah, the Trendy Update was just an April Fools prank. If the Reality Vision was remade as something like Enchanted Goggles/Glasses or maybe something to do with the End, it could work.

As for the dragon/wyvern debate, Dragons are mythical creatures and by default what makes a 'dragon' varies from world to world. In my personal opinion, Wyverns have two legs and a pair of wings, and Dragons have four legs and two wings (at least the western variety), that's also what Notch has said, so it would be more considered 'canon' for the world.

Dragon Scale armor would be super cool, but this armor is INSANELY overpowered. And don't use mods as an excuse, because mods aren't vanilla.

Seems like a nice realm so I'll give it a shot. I've been playing Minecraft for almost 3 years, I'd say I'm a pretty good builder and I really enjoy working together with other players in villages and such.

2011, by far. I do like 2013 a lot though, and to a slightly lesser extent 2012. Not a fan of the 2014 cape though.
