    Personally, I find it amusing that the people who are staunchly (Note, staunchly: as in having shown literally no admission that what has happened is wrong at all) against FlowerChild consistently bring up the argument that it isn't illegal, that it BWF is actually a code wrapper, and that Minecraft is a sandbox game.

    Seriously, I've got a bone to pick with him too... but I'm not going to do that by supporting the ripping off of his work. I also can't believe that a moderator actually got involved in this on the anti-FlowerChild wagon. I can't believe I'm saying this, but FlowerChild should apply to be a moderator the next time this site needs them. Lord knows we need some biased in the other direction, or unbiased... which will never happen. (Note: I do not believe FlowerChild will actually do this. It would be a waste of his time and he'd probably be extremely strict... which is a bad thing in a kansurhole like this one. Too much backlash)

    That's the thing. I'd heard rumors upon rumors that a modder from 4chan has been creating a Better Than Wolves clone- in fact, I had even seen a document of all the notes they'd been making.

    I find it rather amusing that FlowerChild accused the forge guys of being Nazis, since after all, he is "literally Stalin." (According to some people at either the Tekkit forums, if his base of fans is to be believed.)

    Also, anyone who claims 'he had it coming' in my opinion is just extremely immature.


    Can't disagree with you on that. Still, though, this IRC log is hilarious when you consider all the accusations of Character Assassination thrown around.

    I presume you know what I refer to, and it applies beyond that. How many mod authors do you see out there that have both professional conduct when dealing with their fans, and actual dealings with their fans? Many of them get burnt out, others start acting childish.

    The woolinator design is nice, imo. It's good for those times when you don't have a "mob-grabbing" mod available like Portal Gun. Better for pure-redpower, although how reliable was it back in the day?

    Just a thing to point out: the reason Forestry no longer has easily accessible open betas is because Sengir was fed up with the sheer amount of useless reports. I don't doubt that the same thing would happen with RP2.

    Well, from what I can tell EBXL doesn't change the innate shape of the land. You're still going to have the same mountains and hills, just with different blocks making them up and with different trees and biomes.

    I believe that the mod depicted in the screenshot in your linked thread is the "abandonware" that was being referred to. Which may or may not have been poor word choice.
