Well, there are mods for this, such as Pam's Harvestcraft. And.... I think.... Natura? I think it's Natura that adds "pickable" fruits on trees that respawn over time. Kinda like how melons and pumpkins grow, except instead of a little root/vine, it's an entire tree that randomly has fruits growing on it. Honestly it would be cool to me if vanilla MC made fruit like that instead of having to break leaves. When a tree grows, it has anywhere from 0-3 "fertile" leaf blocks that produce fruit over time that hangs under said leaf block. You simply right click the fruit to harvest.
If the new tree(s) were like what I've described above, I would support that.
I'm using Difficult Life (personal/private modpack). I just wanted to make a suggestion that could be a config option. Instead of ramping up difficulty based on play time, you could ramp up difficulty based on experience gained. Just thought that might be an interesting way of doing things, and in that case it would be less of a "rush for the end game" and more of a "at your own pace" game. Although, if people have a lot of automation, that would perhaps bypass a lot of the experience gaining process. Oh well.
I wanted to make a couple suggestions. I hope it hasn't been suggested already. But simply, 1:2 slopes. 1:2 slopes can sort of be done with slabs, but I think it would be nice to have them in Carpenter's Blocks.
The other suggestion, if it is possible, would be to preserve connected textures, especially with Chisel 2.
Just finished setting up a project. However, I don't really have a clear picture of the mechanics that need to be coded. If you guys could better explain it, that'd be great. Also, I'm not very far in Thaumcraft, so I don't know much about that.
I guess to start off with, how would this work? And do we need a new "machine" or do we use the existing infusion altar?
1) Craft Thaumium TiC part?
2) Infuse part?
3) Build tool?
4) ???
5) Profit?
There's some ideas of my own I want to add as well.
HuggableCreep, got any examples of your own art in MC?
Do you have mipmap enabled? I don't know why but mipmap makes both my systems lag. I always turn it off. One system has a Radeon 7950 and the other an R9 270.
What are the odds of getting forge multipart/microblock support? It seems like some chisel blocks work with it just fine, but others have missing textures. For example, my friend and I wanted to use "Stone Bricks 1438:3" aka "Modern Mixed Masonry", but its textures are missing even though it lets us saw the block into microblocks.

Yes, go ahead. Use and/or modify freely.

Better late than never? Well here you go.
Again I take no credit for the brick texture (it's Chisel 2).

My own texture for carriage doors. The frame is from the Chisel 2 mod though (so it matches my building)

I stopped playing vanilla Minecraft at like 1.1. The simplicity you speak of lasted me about less than 20 hours of game play before I was bored.

Hey there,

Anyways, thanks for the great mod.

I love this. Reminds me of the Aetherium Forge from Skyrim. I can code, but... I need to setup eclipse, forge gradle, etc.

That's all I can think of.

Also, I've taken care of the last known bug. You can no longer place blocks on fire (thus losing your item).
