How does one get the new materials to make the noteblock sounds?

SO THAT is the use of parrots.

I found that I was making a petstore and at night the birds started to mimic zomibies and spiders. I did not think much of it until I spawned a dog. then the lot started to bark.

So I spawned a creeper and they started to hiss.

I killed that creeper and they stopped.

They seem to alert you to nearby mobs, IF you are listening to them.

Love the wings. I edited up a set to match Starscream. I can glide so many hundreds of blocks. <3

As for the ripoff argument. Planes have wings, birds have wings, bats have wings, ergo, using those in a game is not a ripoff of any other game that also includes wings. Now if a game started to include creepers then one might say they are ripping mojang off, because creepers are basically an original idea exclusive to Mojang. I never have heard of or Seen creepers outside of Minecraft. I would love true flight, but this is awesome all the same.

It likely needs balancing still.

My previous shot is much improved over C's result. I am returning to B for work in that world, or just sticking to D in new worlds.

Excellent. Now just to see them balance the shields. I would like to see improvement where adding banner to shields looks as good as the banner. But I believe that is probably still a work in progress. I would hope that there is some WIP in regards to enchanting. This is quite exciting.

See ya, and don't let the door hit you as you go - its no big loss to either mojang or the rest of us. If you don't like what 1.9 has to offer, then don't update to 1.9. Easy as that. But do try to give it a chance, as others have said, its a snapshop. A work in progress. Please report all bugs to the issue tracker

For those who might know the answer. Resource packs, mine basically broke with 1.9 do they have a system in place, or is there a system in place to update those packs to current snapshots?

if you are not expecting bugs in snapshots, then snapshots are not for you. Report the bugs, they will get fixed. that is the whole point of testing snapshots. I have been looking at end rods. they seem... decorative. I have contemptated several uses for them. Wearing the dragon head is funny. Now I can add a dragon head next to the wall trophy of my husband. .
