It is easier to criticize than to make mods. We work without being paid and we do this just by passion.
This is the first time I see you here, so rather than being negative, be encouraging. -

Here's what the bestiary looks like now as I just finished the introduction section.
(Yes, I see the bugs too).
Looks good except the font is difficult to read. Might I suggest another old style but clearer font be used? -

What?
They wanted the developers to code some instant structure item. Like a pop up lair for pet dragons at the tap of a block. I say just build the darn stable/ lair yourself. Embrace The Spirit Of Minecraft! There are so many builds that can be copied or altered to taste if they can't come up with something for them self. And how do instant structures fit with the medieval / ancient Greek theme? It's like asking for laser guns. It's Minecraft! Now go craft! Live the dream!
That's what. -

If you look closley, in about the middle of the image, a living Pigman!
I'm a bit suprised that no one else has discovered this yet...
What do you think? Is this one of those "Secret features" that was mentioned in the snaphot post?

(I know there are already some ideas similar to this, but none exactly like it, so don't spam the comments section with "Overused" and crap like that. Thank you.)
So, I was thinking, people have wanted Human Villagers/Villages for a while now. And Testificates have also been recieving hate from the time of their release. I personally like the Testificates, but I think my idea would make everyone happy, whether your a fan of the current villages/villagers, or if you grief and murder them.
Let There Be Customization!
Custom Villagers. Player-Shaped Custom Villagers. And, what I mean by having them custom is, well, for one, you can customize how they look, by downloading player skins. (From sites like Skindex, NovaSkins, ect.) (The default skin for all of them would be Steve... or maybe some new default skins?) When you click on the skin, a new option will be seen. There will be the option for you to download it for yourself, (Like Normal) and a new option, to download to villagers. When you click that, you will be given some options to, download skin to male villager, download skin to female villager, download skin to king villager, ect., (We'll get into them later on.) If you download more than 1 skin for a type of villager, the skins would be randomized. (E.g, if you download Steve and Herobrine skins for the male, there will be a randomized chance of them spawning with either 1, like how Testificates will randomy spawn with different proffesions/robes)
Spawning
The villlages would have the same chance of spawning as the Testificate villages. (But keep in mind, this isn't replacing the Testificates, only adding another type of village.) I guess the buildings would be like the ones we have now for the regular villages... (Post in the comments if you have some ideas for what the buildings would be! ) They (Along with the regular villages, possibly, I'm still working out some of the stuff) would only spawn in Plains Biome,Tundra Biome, Desert Biome, Mushroom Biome, (Mushroom biome villages would be super rare occurances, not likey to find) and Disco Biome (Canyon-ish Biome confirmed for 1.7).
Villagers
As was mentioned in the first part, there would be different kinds of these custom villagers. These being: Male, Female, Male Warrior, Female Warrior, Construction Worker, ShopKeeper/Merchant, Farmer, Hunter, Male Ruler, and Female Ruler. You wouldn't be able to trade with any of them (Except the ShopKeeper/Merchant), but they would be able to pick up items, in the same way zombies do. (Hold items, Weapons, Wear armor) The only difference would be that if they pick up a bow, they would be able to use it, unlike the zombie mob. The Construction worker is the same as the other villagers, just they somethimes build small houses right outside city limits. (They are expanding their village) When you right click on the villagers, they would have chat dialouges (I'll explain those more next), a little box on the top part of the screen that shows the person's name, (We'll get to those later, also.) and a meter or something that shows how much they either like, or dislike you. Depending on if your "friends" with that person or not, you can ask them to stay, wander, or follow. (They can sometimes decline, though.) The higher the meter is, the less of a chance they have to decline your request, and vice versa. (It might be cool to have like quests or jobs or maybe relationships but I don't want to be seen as copying the Minecraft Comes Alive mod.) Sometimes, they will do random things that players do, like crouching rapidly for no reason whatsoever, punching the air once in a while, maybe look around a bit, things like that.
Chat Dialogues
I mention these in the previous paragraph, but didn't go into much detail on them, but that's what this paragraph is for, hence the title. The chat dialogues would work like this: if you're within a 3-block radius of one of the new villagers, there is a chance that somethng will come up, similar to this:
(I'm using my username for this, but it's gonna be your name, obviously)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[VillagerName]: Hey! ;D [Options: "Hi!/Hello!/Hey!", Or "Go away"]
Shroob999: Hi! =D
[VillagerName]: I haven't seen you before. Are you new here? [Options: Yes/Yeah or No]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How they "hear" what you are typing/saying is, all they need to do is recognise 1 word of your sentance in order for them to get what you're saying. for example:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I'm not new. But I do know a guy who just recently moved here! [= They recognize this type of thing.]
I'm not new are you crazy? [= They do not recognise this, because it doesn't have the word "No" in it, so they will ask you to reword the sentance, or something like that.]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, you get the idea. But scince these are custom villages/villagers, there's another feature that would really be cool to have along side this: Dialogue Packs. They're kind of like Texture Packs/Resource Packs, but they work like this: Someone made a Dialogue pack, and you download it. It's now added into the file or whatever that stores the dialogues for the npc's! So, when you "Talking" to an npc, there's a chance that he/she will greet you with the default one, and that will be the conversation, and there's a chance that he/she will greet you with the one you downloaded, and that will be the rest of the conversation.
Names
Ok so, the npc's, as has been previously established, will have names. In creative mode, you can edit their names, but in surival, the names they spawn with you have no control over. Or, do you...?
Maybe, to either go along side Dialogue Packs, or to be Part of Dialogue Packs, there would be a list of which names they can spawn with, whether it be an in game list, accesed in the game menu when you press Esc, or whether it be an out of game list, like in .minecraft or wherever that type of stuff goes. You would be able to remove, edit, or add names to said list. If you generate a world and someone spawns with a name, and you then remove it from the list, they will keep that name, but noone will spawn with it unless you re-add it to the list. For example, if you generate a custom village into your world, and someone spawns with the name "Steve", you can still remove that name from the list. If you do remove "Steve" from the list of names, Steve will still be named Steve, but noone else will spawn with that name, unless you re-add it to the list.
Interaction With The Rest Of Minecraft
Just as the Testificates and the player alike are the target of zombies and others, the custom npc's will also be a target. For example, will only attack if one of them approaches one, will only attack at night, and and will automatically attack them. (Speaking of the undead, you should really check out my forum post about zombies, it'll be worth your time! http://www.minecraft...ombie-spawning/) You will occasionaly spot the npc's cutting down trees, or, as has been said already, Construction Workers occasionally build little houses right outside of city limits. (They are expanding the town.) Farmers will sometimes build pens around animals (I may remove that, tell me in the comments section below whether I should or not. ^^), and Hunters will attack all mobs, with an exception of the Player, Custom Villagers, Testificate Villagers, any variation of Tamed Animal, and any variation of Golem.
Well guys, I hope you enjoyed, be sure to leave a comment, leave some suggestions, share this post with your friends if you liked it, and if you didn't like it, please don't be too hateful, just say something along the lines of "I don't like this and heres why:", I'll see you all next time, bye!

I'm pretty sure you can't move bedrock with pistons.I support! It would add some challenge into minecraft, and is a pretty unique and original idea, imo.
