    Use the Type 2 corrdinate check, it will list both the F3 value and the relative Y location of your feet.

    For compass direction and where the sun rises / sets it's the same that it's always been when I used Rei's Minimap, rising in the east and setting in the west.

    I'll also add to the issue of swamplands appearing as they should on the minimap, though the textures themselves are that of normal grass / leaves and water.

    This is an outstanding update, now I'll be able to let the friends on my server know if there's creepers in the town so it doesn't get cratered to hell. This is worth more than two thumbs up but all I've got are two hands.

    I did a search first but didn't find any results explaning this, so I'm curious: Between Depth and Stencil MapMasks, what's the difference between the two, there doesn't seem to be a visual difference as far as I can tell.

    Also, the changes made to the map rendering (Colored temp/humidity represenation and Biome legend) is outstanding, this puts world studying to an interesting and fun level.

    Endermen flip the hell out in the daytime, they teleport non-stop until they go out of visual range and despawn. I saw one of the teleporting out of water, as before mentioned, which is cool, but it just kept teleporting even though it wasn't touching water.

    To be fair I've given it a look-see just now, and on my part it only delays the amount of time I have to wait before my frames start dropping heavily (From 100 frames to ten for several seconds and back up). There's not much of a boost in frames, but not seeing an increase with 90 - 130 initially depending on what you're currently doing is fine. It doesn't happen as frequently either though at the shortest amount of time it can come back up when it does is within five-second intervals of playing.

    The closest comparison to the behavior is a more erratic, infrequent, but more taxing LSoD that doesn't simply just make the game skip a frame.

    A lot of posts on another 1.9 lag thread I've looked at mentioned the PreRelease is CPU-intensive, does this lower any of that workload or simply just optimizes the framerates of the game?

    Halle****INGlujah I don't get the LSoD on 1.9Pre. I hope it stays that way on 1.9 Final.
    Had the ****ing LSoD since 1.6, about goddamn time it's gone.

    Except now there's massive framerate drops at random intervals that bring me from 100fps to 10fps for five seconds at a time, so yay.

    I'll take my LSoD back, please.
