I've never really been one for making fancy houses, however back in alpha on my first world where I decided I was going to stop running around and settle down, I made a little house that was essentially my mining shack, where I built various mines out of, and even make a nice little plumbing/disposal system with water that lead to a small pool of lava. It was also the first time i realized why you should never right click your work bench when you have a bucket of lava in your hands. I damn near killed my self,burnt all of my house down, and closed one of my shafts which lead to hours of work re-building the house and re opening the mining shaft. Built it over with cobble stone after that :tongue.gif:. After that I planted some trees outside and made my own little shelter in a tree house. I kept all of my items up there. Unfortunately after that when the Halloween update came it wouldn't update so I wasn't able to play minecraft for a couple of months until I finally got it working again.
The house I'm going to work on soon is going to be pretty nice hopefully. I've got a tower set up currently with the bottom floor leading to various mining shafts, the second floor is my storage, and the third is where my bed is. Then on the roof I'm going to make a bridge to an island I can see off in the distance, where I'm going to work on a house. Not sure what I want to do exactly yet, but in the end I hope it ends up pretty cool. :tongue.gif:
I think it was a user running from an Enderman because earlier in the week C418 tweeted about how he had finally submitted the new enderman sound. I don't know if it's for certain, but all the theories for it is pretty cool.
I had a bucket of lava in my hands, and when I went to right click my crafting bench I spilled it. All over my wooden house. It burnt down my house and went down my mining shaft and I had to spend 30 minutes pouring water and mining it out in order to save my mine. It sucked, bad.
