Why do you insist on making dozens of threads without answering our questions and not taking our advice? That's the exact same build you've came here with in all your other threads.
I am an IT student and our teacher told "DVI port doesn't use the analog-digital converter on GPU so that means more performance" if that's right,i may buy a DVI monitor
Sounds like a bunch of garbage. You know DVI carries both digital and analog signals, right?
We don't know anything about pricing, but the new Lenovo Y50 comes out in April-May with a 4K display option (though that will increase the price a lot), a optional touch screen, and the unnonounced GTX 860M graphics card.
4k on a laptop is ridiculous. Any card powerful enough to drive 4k at a decent rate in an enclosed environment is going to melt within a matter of minutes. Not to mention that thing is going to be a monstrous power hog.
Back when I built my computer, 8gigs was $40 tops.
Was that around the holiday season in 2012? RAM was ridiculously cheap back then because of the Windows 8 bust. I got my 8GB for about that price back then. Prices are more or less normal now. It's just a general fact that some companies overcharge on certain products. Part of Corsair's high price is their ridiculous heatsinks, I suppose.
lol, like the progresso soup commercials! They are only 7,8 and 10 years old and I'm telling you they get crazy while playing. Thanks for your help, and 'yes', both are connected tho one is a laptop wireless via the router and one is the desktop wired. Is that what you mean by local? Sorry but I'm super tech savvy
i meant 'not' tech savvy
Your setup is fine. Each Skype account needs a different e-mail address last time I checked, but you can just make extra e-mail accounts as well.
because a Xeon for the price of an i5 that beats the i7, uses less power then the i5 as well as being more powerful, why would you NOT use it if he's not planning to overclock?
Because a locked i5 is still cheaper than a Xeon? You can get a 4430 or 4440 for around $190. Needless to say that even THAT isn't necessary; an FX-8320 is sufficient for an R9-270X. I'm running a 6300 with my 7870 GHz (close to equal to the 270X) and I have no issues.
I seem to be finding mixed answers from Google, so I decided to ask here. I have a 7870 GHz, and I'm curious if it would be possible to CFX it with a 270(X) in the future if I ever decide to do so.
And as always I will highly recommend a desktop over a laptop, not even necessarily one you build yourself. Even a prebuilt desktop would be better than a laptop. You should only get a laptop if you're travelling a lot.
My question would be how he would be hearing it in the first place.
Unless Corsair's driver software lets him?
I don't believe that they really will be eavesdropping. I was just trying to reason with him under the hypothetical circumstance that they will be. Even if they do, it really doesn't matter that much.

They're definitely not cheaper.

The Shield is 100% irrelevant to this. Playing brand favoritism will get you nowhere; the 270X is basically as good as the 760 for less money.

I'm fairly certain that the rumor about it having bad FPS is false, but people say it's bad for gaming simply because very few games support it.

It does. Can the 7870 GHz be crossfired with both the 270 and 270X or just the 270X?

The Y510p is overkill for Minecraft, but it depends what other games you're playing.
