NOTE: THIS GLITCH HAS BEEN PATCHED!
    Block Data Value Changer
    Description
Due to a neat glitch it is discovered to be possible to change the block data value in Minecraft. This affects wool, stone bricks, logs, slabs, and many other blocks. It can be used for useful things like changing the color of a block of wool or changing whether a stone brick is mossy or not.
It requires sticky pistons, a bit of redstone dust, a few redstone torches, and water.

    Premade Machines.
If it doesn't work try moving it to different coordinate areas.
"Note that it's sensitive to orientation (don't rotate it) and to chunk borders (move it a bit if it doesn't work)."-Zhul
Try not to build it in the +X & +Z direction.

posted a message on [CTM][Survival]Spanone's CTM Maps
    Spanone's CTM Maps
CTM stands for either "Complete the Monument" or "Capture The Music"
(In my first map you collect wool, but in other ones you will collect Music Discs)
    Table Of Contents
    1. Overview
    2. Colossal Cavern
    3. Terms & Conditions
    Overview
The idea to make a map with a goal of completing a monument is completely taken from Vech's "Super Hostile" Series of maps. I used his method of capturing wool in my first map and used his toolkit in some areas of my Colossal Cavern map. Maps after the Colossal Cavern will have the goal of collecting the 11 different types of Music Discs.
    Colossal Cavern
Difficulty: Very Easy | Easy | Medium | Hard | Very Hard | Intense
    Description
My first CTM map takes place in a massive cavern that acts as the main branch to the different sections of the maps. There is a section in the Nether. There are 16 different colors of wool to collect. This map is meant to be very challenging.
    Goal
Find all 16 colors of wool and place them on the monument.
    Rules
A full list of rules are in the map.
    1. Don't exit the enclosure
    2. Don't play on peaceful.
    3. Don't dye wool/use wool from sheep.
    4. Don't use Enderpearls/Beds (Anything else) to get through walls.

    Important fact.

Basically when set up in the same orientation (Facing same direction) it would not work in +X +Z area.

This is probably just what somebody said about the southwest rule or whatever, but I don't understand what that means.

So I killed a pig with a sign with a looting level of 32767.
I was actually pretty suprised to find that my game didn't crash.
However, it slowed down to somewhere probably around 1 frame every 2 seconds. (.5 FPS?)

Anyway, I managed to grab a shot. Turns out the possible area that items are dropped from a mob is square.

    EDIT: See?

    ALL THE ENCHANTMENTS!
