I have told jorgen many times that a script wont cut it and yes I wont give away my software server because of the incredibly hard work i have put into it. He knows and understands this.

yeah but binary formats are much better in terms of coding.

i tried making the server public... but too many people asking questions...

i have just done a major update to mine, and it will be up at least for the next 24-48 hrs, i am then going away for sunday-monday so i will leave it on then too, but by then people had better have come on and got "trusted" status, otherwise they wont be able to play and i wont be online for 2 days

I have created races and 6 worlds and i would love it if madk could join and see all the updates, but if not i will create madk a profile with trusted status just incase he wishes to.

currently im trying to get 6 maps made that i like to represent the 6 available races, when that is done the data will be reset and war will start :tongue.gif:

Sorry, i updated the server, it seems stable for the time being, the past few days have been 40+ degrees celcius so I havn't been able to host and i will see how it goes today. I want to add some roleplaying elements to the server because i feel it is lacking e.g. Races, Race Worlds, possible currency, and a more open world for trusted players.

madk, i been working on a massive update to my server, i built a tutorial section which acts sorta like a Quest. I am trying to get it done asap but its alot of code, when its done i will post the server url for you here if you want. I miss you!

p.s. Truewolves is making me a map for the server and I am looking forward to being able to host so everyone can play. For now just be patient :biggrin.gif:

The server has undergone a big change which allows for .dat map files to be loaded and I am reducing the sizes of player-zones to add more people into the server. I hope that everyone who had a zone is ok with this but it should mean that it is no longer flatgrass.

Laptop crashed... don't know why... i wont be putting the server up till I am sure that it didn't cause the crash.

Alliance Creation:

I am now implementing alliances, i have a functional alliance right now, but I have not made them dynamic enough yet so people will need to register their alliance here and if one exists people can just ask me in-game to join it. Use the following form to submit it.

Leader:
Alliance name:
Acronym:

an example of mine is below.

A map is being created now on the first post underneath the player-zone map

I will try to make the map bigger and more dedicated (via use of my PC) in a couple of days, but for now the map is huge as it is and 25 people (who as you said all joined within 3hrs and will be playing at the same time) causes enough lag... which everyone complains about

Edit1: Core i will reserve a spot for you in the next player-zone reset/expansion ok?

Edit2: I have created a guest zone at 2,2 for anyone to use, just ask, but this means that your stuff might get griefed and I wont be monitoring this very much.
