I have just two Rattatas next to each other, one male and one female, in a pen that's 2x2 in area with enough grass coming in that they won't starve. No other pokemon in sight, none others of mine are out. I've had them this way for around 4 in-game days and have had no results. I've tried on all three modes (guard/follow/stay) and both stand and sit. I tested with a golden apple earlier in a creative world and it did work, but I have yet to see any "naturally-occurring" eggs.
I will generally respond to messages left in the irc within 10-20 minutes of them being sent, sometimes I am afk for a while though.
Github is active, if you check the commit log, it has been getting 2-10 commits a day regularly, if you post an issue there, I should respond to it shortly, unless I am asleep.
Can you give an example of the display problem with the recipes for pokemobs? I have not noticed any issues, try to get some error logs for me? it could be a problem with JEI versions I used to compile or something. - This one is something from a JEI update, I will work on a fix for it tomorrow. It only applies to the ditto recipe it seems. Fix for this will be in the next release.
Check to see if the crashes on sending out still occur in 2.1.12? I made some changes that may have fixed them, I could never replicate them though, so I have no way to test the fix.
the rare pokemobs is a balance issue, I am still trying to work out a good number. I increased it a bit again for 2.1.12.
I will look into the dupe bug, I never considered double clicking the output slot. Cannot replicate the dupe bug either, I tried double clicking the output with/without itemstacks, and it reduced the stacks of the input normally.
I am not sure what I can do about the 2x2 crafting grid error, I guess it deletes them due to not being in your inventory. what happens to vanilla items if you die with them in that grid? if they are also deleted, there is probably not much I can do about it Cannot replicate this one, the pokemob is sent to PC for me whenever I die with it in grid/after reviving
For breeding, the easiest way is to feed the female a golden apple. If there are too many pokemobs around, they will not breed, the 8 females and 9 males may have been too many. Try just 1 of each.
Edit: if the issue is not listed on the Github page, then it is either not known, or it is a balance issue that I have not worked out yet. That is to say, every issue I come across, I fix asap, and noone has been reporting them via github for some reason.
Wow, you reply quickly. Thanks for the advice.
As for the dupe-bug, I didn't mean double-clicking the output slot but double-clicking to pick up an item from your inventory and fill the stack of your cursor slot. It pulls the items of the same type from the input slots of the Splicing Machine GUI but leaves the output result where it is. I'll test for sendout crashes. I'll report future issues via Github so that there's no issue with reposting the same bugs.
I have a few bugs to report. I couldn't tell if the issues were known or not because neither the github page nor the IRC channel is active.
-The Splicing Machine's recipes that have pokemon as a result have problems with JRE and don't display correctly. Also, OpenGL puts out errors in the chatbox while the Splicing Machine's recipes are open in JRE specifically if you're looking at recipes that result in pokemon.
-Several inconsistent crashes when throwing a pokecube and having it land right on top of another allied pokemon.
-There is a dupe bug with the Splicing Machine. Double-clicking to fill the cursor's inventory slot up with a stack of items doesn't reset the recipe in the Splicing Machine, letting you collect the result of the recipe without spending the items.
-After the patch before the last patch, pokemon are extremely rare to encounter. At night, I'll encounter maybe three or four zubats and nothing else. During the day, I may encounter one rattata every four in-game days or so. Not sure if this is a bug or a balance issue but it does affect core functionality of the mod, so.
-If you die with a pokecube in your 2x2 crafting slot (I.E. to apply a Revive, but the pokemon you were previously battling switched agro to you), the pokemon will be permanently deleted.
Also, I really don't understand how to get breeding to work. I haven't found any documentation on it other than a french website that said any two pokemon male and female could just spontaneously breed. I have an 11x11 fenced in pen full of Rattata, 8 females and 9 males, and have yet to find any eggs. I've noticed that they do eat the grass, though.
Sorry if it seemed unclear to you, but I'm not requesting an alternative method that avoids or works around the issue; I'm asking if anybody who is aware of the bug I'm encountering knows of a way of fixing it (be it through configuration file settings or otherwise), or if anybody can provide additional information to me for the problem I'm having.
Having a really consistent problem with this mod's Energy Conduits. When I edit a specific conduit system (two Quarries from BuildCraft remotely connected to a Redstone Energy Cell from Thermal Expansion), I get a really large spike in latency from the internal server and can't edit or do anything (as customary) for a good 2-3 minutes.
Does anybody know of an explanation or a fix for this?
I would like for an Infusion Brewery to be implemented. It would produce potions at the cost of Essentia. For example, Awkward Potion = Water Bottle + Praecantatio; Healing Potion = Awkward Potion + Praecantatio + Sano. I bet this would be especially useful for splash potions and would be a great earlier-game alternative to brewing stands which are such a pain to get due to needing to have found a nether fortress.
I would also like for an Infusion Beacon. It would produce various effects within its zone at the cost of different mixtures of Essentia, such as potion effects for correspondant aspects+praecantatio, villager zombification/purification for exanimus+ordo/sano+ordo, wither effect for perditio+death, plant-growth speed increase for herba+tempus, etc. Wouldn't require a nether star because it's not free like the vanilla beacon. It would be an awesome alternative to beacons without replacing them; I hardly ever get to use beacons because of the nether star cost.

Thanks for fixing those bugs so promptly.

Err, there is no "Bone Wand Core" item. You just use a bone in a wand recipe instead of a stick, and it has to be in the arcane workbench.
