The server host hasn't change nor do we have a new IP. I have maitaining the same host until a more stable one can be purchased. Currently I need to either upgrade or find a new host Vortex has become a little frustrating I checked the server and found it stopped for no reason. Sorry for the problems all.

Meowmeow the griefing is limited and they must replace blocks and learning to protect your items is important. Sorry it disappoints you but stealing isn't a bad server feature at all.
Yup, after a year of this, I have very little patience for that stuff. For the most part, I just let other people answer the tech-support questions and such to avoid entirely losing my mind
It's largely just a question of volume though. As the mod has increased in popularity, there are of course more tech-support requests, so they've drowned out the more constructive conversation within this thread. Hence why we have dedicated forums for the mod.

Not only has this mod brought my love for Minecraft back to life, I've been playing it non-stop for the last three days. It's addicting and the difficulty of it is amazing, it's given me more of a reason to do things that I don't normally do in Minecraft. Like slimes though my slime grinder isn't working like it's suppose too.
It's highly unlikely. For starters, it's probably being developed using the forge for the extra sprite indices and so they can attract a wide-as-possible audience for the ad.fly links. Secondly, a mod 'of that size' if the first version is anything to go by will edit a lot of base-classes, so it's likely going to clash with some of BTW anyways. Thirdly, again if the first version is anything to go by, it's probably going to be 2 or 3 versions of minecraft behind BTW at any given time. Finally, the hinted significant edits to the nether are going to clash from a background point of view, if not a programming one - what is with the ripped diablo plotline anyways?
Dunno if you can tell, but I kinda grew disenchanted with the Aether shortly after it was first released.
Thanks for the reply. I was hopeful but yeah the Aether isn't for everyone, but I really enjoyed the mod personally I still have it even if it's outdated at this point. But even if it's not compatible at this point I'm not willing to give up this mod so I'll end up making backups. Thanks again for the reply.
Do you think Better than Wolf's might be compatible with Aether 2? From my understanding it makes a different world available through portals. Just wondering if you would make the item ID's and so on not conflict with there's. I really like this mod and The Aether so want to play both in the same world.

Hey Soto! Were planning on rebooting BMK entirely with a new system and everything now that 1.0 is finally released. It's going to take a lot of work and planning, and we've already started gathering the staff again. As of right now we have Darkstar, Xerbreak, Roq, Gamer, and Minime fully on board and helping me work on the server. I am currently trying to contact Fozzy, Stotle, and Lightshaft as well. The server will not be public until we are ready for a release which may be up to a week from now depending on how fast Plugins are updated and also Bukkit. We'd love to have you on board with us as well, but be prepared to suggest ideas and discuss much of the new system we will be implementing.

These guys are really popular because they're making an awesome looking mod, yet it appalls me that all we get are pics.
I'm sorry if this seems mean, but I can't really appreciate something that can't be used, and I see no reason to have to wait until the final release date. Had notch done what they are doing, NONE OF US WOULD BE HERE.
I do not mean offense to anyone, but I am still annoyed at this. When I first discovered it I went "OMG BIGGEST MOD EVAH!!!" (although perhaps less dramatically) and then I realized it was all a "suggestion" for notch to put in and went away then found out people were actually working on it then realized we were going to have to wait for months for them to finish it meanwhile accumulating almost a thousand followers who merely had pics to excite them. I would not post if it wasn't near completion, but its readily playable now and only they can use it. Perhaps they think that if they released it someone would steal it and beat them to it? I just don't understand. I don't think they are stupid, for they're quite clearly geniuses, but I can't figure out why they would do that.
No mod has as many followers as this, yet as far as I know every one of them has better game play changes, that being said they have it available.

What's more better than that? The fact there putting there own personal time and effort into it! Do they have to tell us about it? NO! Do they have to post pics? NO! Do they have to make it public? NO!
They could say forget everyone and keep it all to them self's post a pic and just laugh at all the envy and say your never going to see this in public. Another set of modders are working to make one for everyone to use but that one isn't playable either. All in all this post is rather pointless and annoying they show you the amazing mod and you rage about it not being out. Do you have any special reason to rage? Did you by chance pay for it? If not shut up and be patient.

Finally onto what I came here for first on Joshtk has been unbanned just to let nattyk and Josh know talked to Flop about it. As well I had noticed Flop had not added the triple challenge to the forum post yet. It's pretty much a series of challenges that will all lead up to a total of three later on. The prize is the trophy block at the end of each challenge. We later will be having timed runs and the one with the fastest time will go on the record board as well as receive a special price. It's a 100 derka entree fee which does not go to me or anyone else but the server. =D I hope to see more of you wanting to run the course!

What you look for in a Server: I look for good buildings and good gameplay, and pvp. I’d love the chance to freeland on the server.
What type of player you are: I’m usually a builder on most servers. I’ve built mob grinders to cathedrals and even castles. But I hope to be different with this server and focus more on PvP and PvE.
Why do you think you should be added: Because I feel as if this is my dream server. Zombies and sandbox how can it get any better? =D I think I’ll make a great addition by causing problems for traders or simply hunting down the enemy and being a sword for hire to towns to protect people then turn around and be a renegade again.
