posted a message on Custom LAN Mod - LAN At Your Fingertips, Now Updated to 1.7.2 and 1.6.4!
I don't know where you live CptHunter, but it's now Thursday for me. I've got my pitchfork ready...

Kidding, kidding! I just simply cannot wait for your update! I'm happy as long as it shows up before the weekend. That's when I'll play with other people anyway. Haha.

    Quote from dustyshouri

He hinted at it, and I anticipated... but that still doesn't make it fun. Minecraft isn't in Alpha/Beta anymore, as much as I love the game such large fundamental changes like this should have been done before it was published as final. But this is just me ranting about the way they rushed out the final game for a hiked up price tag.

I'm probably just bitter about the fact I just fixed the pack and it's about to be broken again.

No, I don't think you're just being bitter. It's very true. I can't believe they came out of beta when the game clearly wasn't finished yet. What they are doing to Minecraft aren't just "add-ons"... They keep redoing core things. The new launcher, the resource packs, etc. It's ridiculous. If my name was well-known in the Minecraft community, I would call for a petition to brand it as beta again. This is just wrong.

posted a message on SummerFields - 1.11 Update! (NOW WITH MOAR GROUP EFFORT!)
    Quote from kalikars81

So, I have been working on Metallurgy support for Summerfields for quite some time now. But only until recently have I grown a distaste for my work.

I don't feel my work is really Summerfields quality. I don't believe it fits the scheme of the texture pack as a whole, and because of this, I've lost major interest in the support, as well as Minecraft as a whole.

Although these are my opinions, I really would like to hear your's (this goes out to anybody). Do you think my work is adequate, and should I continue the support? Here is a picture with all my work on ores so far, with some of the originals for comparison.

    -SNIP-

I love them! Please, please, please continue support! The textures are amazing because they really stand out from the normal Summerfields metals, and I like being able to identify them as Metallurgy metals (like how they are different in the plain mod). Great job!

posted a message on Metallurgy - Putting the "Mine" back in "Minecraft"!
    Quote from SabbyKat

I personally think Rebelkeith needs to get a new thread going, and make a relevant main post to contain known issues, and other information. As now, we're leap frogging around his twitter and being told to use github, and other avenues to find issues which most normal users don't know how to use correctly.

I agree with these sentiments completely. A new thread would bring more people in. There he could explain everything as it is. Start from scratch. Make this his (as it should be).

The only thing that I can ask for is for M3 to come sooner. Of course, I'm being impatient. However, I really do love this mod more than any other. I can't say that I know how much attention that it's receiving at the moment, but I sure hope that it will become a major priority soon. Like I have said before, I understand burnout, but I would really love to see one stable version of M3 with machine metal cores at the very least. That seems like it's going to be the biggest change for machines, and it is the one thing that I just can't wait for!

At the very least, Rebelkeith, you should be happy to have so many fans waiting for each and every post! You should be happy to have so many fans hanging on every next bug fix, feature, or full release!

    We love you!

Just something to show the vast difference in quality you get from me when I'm taking my time and when I'm rushing. XD

    Naga Armor Textures (Rushed recolor):

    "OMG. Where are my arms?!"

"Woozle, Y U NO TAKE TIME?!"

    Fire Armor Textures (Non-rushed, non-recolored)

"I will set fire to your lawn." > :D

    "Snow?! WHAT? Let's melt it!"

The difference? The first one took me about fifteen minutes. The second one has taken me about an hour and a half start-to-finish.

Very nice! I can't wait to see more!

    Quote from kalikars81

I'm working on some custom Metallurgy Support myself. It'll take some time, but I really don't want to rush it and do it like crap.

And, in case you're skeptical of the work I'm doing (In which, I wouldn't blame you), here's just a tiny sliver of the work I've done: http://imgur.com/a/jJIZT

I guess my same "I can't wait to see more" sentiments are extended toward you as well! Haha. I wish I could texture, but... Well, at least I have patience on my side!

I just saw the Enchanter (as I just followed you on Twitter). Now hold up. This would make for the perfect reason to add gems. Duh! They could be an entire enchanting thing! You could even have a separate enchantment add-on like you do with the other metal packs. Certain gems could give you more specific enchantments, others would increase the level cap on enchantment, and others could be substitute for actual XP when it comes to enchanting. It would deviate away from the basic Metallurgy idea, but it would be so cool! You could even add in a few new enchantments too (if you aren't already planning on that).

Come on... Just think about it!

I think it fits well with the other ideas that have been mentioned above me. It would give the gems a purpose beyond decoration (which I would like anyway).

    Minor Suggestion:
All metals that are higher than iron (or equal to, as well) should be able to work in the anvil recipe. Making an anvil is freaking hard now. Maybe that's just me...

Also, wasn't there a way to turn a few other metals into iron, or something?

    EDIT:
It looks like a forge version issue. *sigh* How is a mod that's compatible with Forge not compatible with Forge? It just blows my mind. Will this mod just have to be updated constantly or...?
