    Hey, Dusty!

I know a while back you said that you didn't have plans to ever do any mod textures, but I see you're really getting back into texturing so I was curious as to whether or not you might have had a change of heart! Haha. I love this texturepack to death, but I suck at texturing, and I also have two mods that just look absolutely ugly when used with your pack.

    Dusty textures = freaking beautiful.
    Mod textures = kill me.

I don't know if you use any mods yourself, but I would recommend Metallurgy 2 and The Twilight Forest so that way if you fall in love with these mods, you'll just have to texture them!

    Sincerely,
    Raekai

    Hello,

when i put Tin Ore in the Furnance i get Manganese Dust?
This is not how it should be i think?
Is there maybe something wrong with a config file?

Re-download the core file if this is happening to you.

Got a similar problem with most fantasy ores. I had to reassign the ID-Range of the items because they were conflicting with Twilight Forest Items. Now i get the ores but they give me something completely else if i smelt them. Is there a way to change that? I woud just chance the Twilight Forest IDs, but i got stuff of it placed already.

You will ALWAYS have to change the IDs for The Twilight Forest. Otherwise, there is a huge overlap with Metallurgy IDs.

    Minor Suggestion:
All metals that are higher than iron (or equal to, as well) should be able to work in the anvil recipe. Making an anvil is freaking hard now. Maybe that's just me...

Also, wasn't there a way to turn a few other metals into iron, or something?

I haven't been around a lot lately... But has anyone suggested anvils made with higher up metals that would reduce the experience costs? I think that could be an interesting idea to tinker with.

    Hello all!

I was wondering if someone was going to make vanilla-friendly textures. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of Painterly, and the textures look weird when mixed with vanilla!

    Thanks!

Found a bug, all ores that give off a particle effect make your framerate drop to 1/10th of what it was before, I proved this on a flat world.

Wow. This is quite the claim. 10% of what it was? Man, I normal about 50 fps, and being around an ore giving off a particle effect has never noticeably altered that.

Prove it to all of us. A video or screenshot would be nice. What was your original framerate? And after?

the one thing i hate about this mod is that diamonds are too common and pointless :(

One thing I love about this mod is that you can change that easily.

Really? I don't think it actually looks that bad! Could you keep it as an option on the future customizer or something? I kinda like it. I think if you tweaked it a little, it could turn out perfect!

I like the mod however i don't like how the vanilla items get overridden by the new textures, could you please tell me how to stop this override and in the next version could you please add an option into the game to remove the override.

Search the thread. This question has been asked and answered many times. There IS an option already. Someone (YOU!!) didn't try hard enough to find it!

Are there any people that are working on doing mod artwork for this texture pack? I love this pack to death, but I love my mods even more. If anyone is willing to take a few requests, I'd be happy to give em! Haha.

And the update looks so good! I love the new diamond sword!

Man, I haven't been around much, but I have taken an extensive look at what's been happening over the past few days...

The new style solid blocks? Very nice! I really do like to have them for storage reasons so I'm glad you got around to making them, and they look good too.

The colored glass? Quite impartial to it myself, but I know that other people are dying to have it, and you'll be knocking out other mods by adding your own! Good on you!

The lanterns? This idea is so good that it should have been implemented a long time ago! I can I request a screenshot? A lantern up IN a ceiling. As in the ceiling black was carved out so the lantern could be put into the ceiling. I just wanna see how it looks. ;)

The new armory stuff? It's amazing, and I expected nothing less! Are you having Keith code it as you go along, or will he work on that after you have finished the art?

That i understand. What im suggesting is that you create a more subtle looking rock like (or organic) texture. It will feel less repetitive. Just a suggestion though :) .
Also. I was wondering if you could consider dropping ctm glass :P I do like ctm, but the invisible wall looks a bit strange:

    Oh, and nice wolf! :)

The CTM textures just need to be worked with regardless. The "empty" block just doesn't look good. Adding "shine" pixels to it would look good as a simple addition.

    BTW:
I'm working on a new "Summerfield" version of the Textures, since the one on the front page is some kind of outdated??
Maybe remove it, I downloaded it, but the old textures seemed somewhat.. nooooot organised as nowadays xD

(had some of the Textures from my Inficraft 1.2.5 or made it by myself)
When I'm finished I may upload it, but first I might write to the Creator of Summerfields :P

Started yesterday and I got ALL metals, Armors(item...), Dusts etc.
I need to work on all the armors though >.<
    That's some hard stuff :D
I also want to keep them in their own style, maybe if I'm lazy they're gonna be more or less euqal looking xD

You should talk to the user Cuddlewoozle. I know she is also working on textures for SummerFields, and hers are by far the best I've seen in the way of SummerFields. You might even want to consider pairing up with her because I know she has a lot on her plate already.

From that picture Keith put up... is that an anvil I see next to the crusher and furnace?

Yes, yes it is. However, it is vanilla and not related to Metallurgy unless they have affected it in some way through the mod.

Wow... You have really made a comeback. When will this thread die and be replaced?

It's so good to see such progress being done. If certain mods are supported then this may very well be my new main texture pack!
