Oct 10, 2011I'm having a problem with shelf. I downloaded the new version, dropped it into the minecraft.jar and my game crashed. I made sure it was shelf doing it by adding all my mods one at a time and testing the game after each addition. Once I added shelf it went to hell. I've never had a problem with this mod before. :sad.gif: Is anyone else having the same problem?Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Sep 23, 2011Please update soon. A huge amount of the things in my world depend on your mod.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

I'm probably going to end up sounding dumb, but here goes:
I CAN'T get this to work for the life of me. Other mods will work, but this and that other vehicle mod are the only two that I have trouble with. I deleted my .minecraft/ folder and re-installed everything clean, put the audiomod GUIApi and Modloader in the minecraft.jar, deleted the META-INF thing. That works fine. As soon as the Mo'Creatures.zip thing goes in the mods/ folder though it black screens no matter what I do. I've even tried using a mod loader like 'MyCraft'.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
Did you unzip the files? Just dropping the mo creatures zip file in the jar won't work. You gotta unzip it.

Is there any way to get rid of cat beds and litter boxes? I know I can move them, but I can't figure out how to destroy them completely so I just have a bunch of them sitting in a shack.
Same here and it's driving me nuts!

That happened to me just delete minecraft roaming after making copies of your worlds and reinstall audio mod, mod loader, guiapi FIRST then install More creatures. That worked for me
Actually, you don't hafta delete the roaming folder just delete the bin folder inside it.
Jul 18, 2011Posted in: Minecraft ModsQuote from Tdog323I have a problem, the mod creatures don't appear to be making sounds on my game. Did I install something wrong or what? Is the sounds supposed to go somewhere specific?
The sounds are in the resources folder in the Mo creatures zip. You need to drop the contents of that folder into the .minecraft resources folder. It should work.
Quote from sonofhoraceLOL! Could a backyard fence keep in your kitty?
Prolly not, if he was allowed outside. Lol. But animals aren't sposed to be able to jump over the fences in Minecraft, or so I've been told.
Quote from sonofhoraceDo you give them milk?
I didn't know I was supposed to.
Do you have any idea why my kitties are attacking me?
Quote from renounce4I love the looks of the mod and i cant wait to play it, but every time i install it and try playing minecraft i get black screened! i deleted the meta-inf folder, and i followed the instructions exactly! i have no other mods install although i do have adventurecraft but that doesn't do jack to my .minecraft folder. So please help me!!
Did you delete the META-INF file?
Did you install the other three mods required for this one to work?
What is the exact process you used to install the mod?
Jul 17, 2011I love the kitties but I'm having some problems.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
1. They don't seem to be able to be contained by fences. Am I missing something?
2. They get hunrgy a LOT. I swear it's once every 2 minutes. If I don't feed them they attack me. :sad.gif: Is this a glitch?
3. Will kitties get sick/run away if I don't feed them?

From what I can see, it looks like BlockFurniture has the same ID as BlockRoad, so I assumed I could change the ID, I went to the config file, found out Bar Stool had the same ID as Road for some reason. I don't know if this only applies to me, so I suppose you might want to check that out. Anyway it logged in this ( :ohmy.gif: ), and... IT WORKED, YES! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! GO ME!
It worked for me too! Oh thank you soooooooooooooooo much!!! *hug*

So don't unzip the file then? And none of the mod goes in the jar file at all?
Putting the zip file in the mods folder creates the same blackscreen.
Also, how do I look at the modloader log file? I can't seem to find one.

You probably need to delete the META-INF folder from minecraft.jar
That was taken care of long ago. Which is why it's confusing me because the last time I had this mod it installed easily with no problems.
3. Copy the fancypack archive to your mod folder <----This is confusing me. There is no folder named "mod" in the Minecraft jar archive. Or are you just referring to the jar when you say mod folder?
Jul 15, 2011I loaded GuiAPI0.10.3-1.7, AudioMod, ModLoader and then fancy71111 to make sure it was the only thing causing the problem and it is. I keep getting a black screen when I try to log in. You're just sposed to unzip the file and put the folder contents right into the Minecraft.jar right? Also, if I try to load my world without this mod will the items made by the previous version of it cause my world to frag?Posted in: Minecraft Mods

i have an issue, i recently downloaded this mod (recently as in yesterday) and then today updated my game, but now in one of my worlds, when i try to open my chests, i get this "saving chunks" screen, and after a minute or so, it black screens, i don't know if it is because i installed it wrong, but is there a solution? or do i have to loose my 36 diamonds? (i tried destroying the chests, but it would make a blue screen and freeze my computer, this is the first mod i installed, and i am almost positive i did it right) this mod makes the game so much better by the way
Ummmmm. You may have a big problem if you destroyed those chests. I did that when I got rid of a mod I no longer wanted and the "saving chunks" + freeze thing happened. I redownloaded the game and reloaded it with absolutely no mods and the save that had the chest I destroyed still wouldn't play. I hope you made a backup of your saves recently or you might be out of luck. :sad.gif:
